i can agree here as well that she should have been a bard, her lucky backround dances hint heavily at it as do her stats. and bards are literally masters of seduction.

Well...there's always multiclassing and from what I know, Rogue and Bard seem to work well together, although I'm not familiar with Pathfinders multiclassing.
for the minkan god known as the nekogami. what are the favored weapon, domain list, and holy symbol? i assume the holy symbol will be false cat ears, favored weapon being climbing claws, and the domain list featuring trickery and darkness. which would be pretty awesome in the hands of a lawful evil god who governs all things feline, would postive or negative energy be channled? i hope for the former.
Shuriken, a little more confident in her answers than before attempts to submit them to the judges in person by hand. she was hoping to get her critique early and see if she passed the test. she new, that if she passed, that it was through sheer luck.
After allowing you a few moments to finish, Darstave steps back slightly, allowing the grey haired woman to speak to the group, "the next test will measure your mastery of spellcasting... Obviously not all of you will be capable of casting spells yourself, but you will all have a chance to demonstrate your understanding of their applications—could those of you who can wield magic, no matter how minor, come here to the middle of the room."
Merisyl looks expectantly at the applicants sat around the room with her steady gaze, waiting.
Daryan stands up, taking some time to push his chair back in before walking to the center of the room. If this test requires remembering facts about magic, Daryan feels that he will not do well. The 50 previous questions managed to stress his mind enough that he can't remember the different schools of magic, let alone their applications.
Samant sits thinking for a moment. Raising his hand, When you say "can wield magic", do you also mean being able to wield an item of magical properties, or just the ability to cast a spell without an item through divine or arcane means? The reason I ask is because if I were handed, say a magical sword, I could use the item... would my wielding it be classified as wielding magic?
Merisyl smiles patiently at Samant, "for now I am referring to those who can actually cast spells, though you can still gain some credit for this test if you are capable of recognising spells as they are cast."

Thank you for clarifying. He bows as best he can in his chair and awaits.
This is where I would start rolling my D20 in my hand to warm it up lol
NIK gives Merisyl a big warm confident smile that screams: I m READY!
NIK truly hopes one day she can "play" with magic, isnt it just sooo cool after all? giggle
"Just the three of you?" the woman asks, then turns to those still at the desks, "You can gain some credit by identifying the spells which are about to be cast, just write the details on the sheet in front of you and I will check as we move along."
"As for you," she looking at the three standing with her in the middle of the room, "you need only cast a cantrip or orison of your choice, I will be suppressing the effects, so don't worry about causing damage if you only have offensive magics available to you right now. We will start with you," she looks to Zeldin holding her hands up in preparation.
The spellcasters just need post which spell you are casting, the others need to roll a DC 15 spellcraft check to identify each of the spells (unfortunately spellcraft can only be attempted if you have ranks, but don't worry if you can't do this bit).
Samant writes done each spell he sees, actually just writing down names of spells he's heard of, naming them horribly wrong. Spellcraft is not for me lol
Daryan goes over the spells that he prayed for the ability to cast that morning. He could cure wounds with a touch, but no one had a wound to be healed. He could grant himself greater proficiency in battle, or detect magic, or gain a sudden temporary burst of insight. He glances around the room at the assembled aspirants. To recognize a spell like that would require careful attention to the invocation and gestures used, since none of them had obvious visual effects. Surely many of Daryan's new friends do not have the required training to even attempt to recognize such a spell.
As Daryan awaits his name to be called upon, he suddenly remembers his Light spell. Surely everyone could guess at the name of a spell with such an obvious effect. You'd think so, anyways. He readies the orison in his mind, preparing to cast.
Zeldin breathes in deeply, and exhales. He walks back to his desk, and takes the quill into his hand. He returns to the center of the room. Some of his confidence seems slightly missing.
He looks to Merisyl, and catches her eye, and she nods in assent seemingly ready for anything he does.
He holds the quill in front of him and murmers a few words and then suddenly the quill begins to glow.

Spellcraft (DC 15): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Daryan, seeing Zeldin cast the same spell that he was preparing to cast, clears his throat, getting Merisyl's attention. "Do we need to cast DIFFERENT spells from each other?"
NIK, trying to be helpful, takes off her necklace: her LUCKY COIN hangs from it. She holds it out in front of Daryan.
Maybe you can make this glow too Daryan. It is my lucky coin, blessed by both Desna and Calistria!
"The same spell is acceptable, I expect that you will have a chance to display a little more variety in the later tests." Merisyl replies, "This is primarily for you to demonstrate that you are magically active, so you do not feel obliged to do so later if another option would prove more effective."

"Then I think I shall," Daryan says, giving Nik a smile as he reaches for her lucky coin. He holds it, incanting for a moment, and hands it back glowing like a torch.
Light spell. I figure it would be difficult to prove that he's actually casting a spell if he casts, say... Detect Magic.
AMAZING!
NIK gives Daryan a lil happy hug, then twirls away in a dance move. She tries to use the necklace and glowing coin in a quick new dance routine.
Perform Dance: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
I'll call this dance my Will O Wisp Dance! It still needs some work but I can totally see it now: low lights in the fest hall, lots of lil gemstones or gold threads on my dress to make the light reflect! By Calistria It will be soooo HOT! and all thanX 2 YOU Daryan!
Shuriken says to the judges, the only spell i know how to cast or even identify requires a deck of playing cards she sits down and watches.
the italics are to emphasize the words she emphasizes, the "Spell" she mentioned is card tricks, via a DC 15 sleight of hand check, eventually, she will have predestigitation and silent image through rogue talents.
NIK sees the water splashing at Garion's feet and cant help but think of a dance scene where water is splashed on her (think the movie "Flashdance!" sooooooo many possibilities with Magic! What a feeling! giggle
Darstave chuckles to himself at Nik's exuberance, leaning against the wall of the circular room, while the elven man leans out of the door and exchanges a few whispered words with someone outside.
Merisyl lets out a small sigh as the water pools on the wooden floor, but quickly runs through an incantation to dry it up.
DC 15 Spellcraft:
prestidigitation
"I am sorry," she says to Shuriken, "we usually expect you to provide the components and foci for your own spells. If necessary we can send for some," "Don't worry," Darstave interrupts, clearly catching the girl's meaning more than Merisyl had, "I don't think the magic she has in mind is the sort you'd be interested in."
Ferrilinth returns from the doorway and smiles at Nik. "That is precisely what you can do in the next test," he says, "first though, there is a short break for you to have some lunch... which should be arriving soon."
Just as he says this, the door opens revealing a young woman wearing plain gray clothes and carrying a tray filled with bread and cheese. After setting the tray down on a small table against the wall, she leaves, only to return a few moments later with a pitcher of water and plenty of cups.
"Thank you," Darstave says to her as she leaves, then grabs a chunk of bread, "help yourselves."
NIK smiles at Ferrilinth and eats light.
NIK tries to be nice to the young woman and to make small talk just in case I can learn something usefull about the next test so I can prepare (I doubt it but u never know!)
If she leaves too quickly the small talk is to DARSTAVE: I REALLI pour on the cuteness! :-)

Alexian walks slowly over to the small table, waiting for the others to take their fill before taking some bread, cheese, and water for himself.
He quickly downs the small meal, burping quietly into his fist. His hunger fended off for the meantime, Alexian's demeanor seems to brighten slightly.
Zeldin thanks the young woman and helps himself to some of the food. He tries to make conversation with Daryan.
Greetings priest of Irori. Or should I say, I assume you are such because of your garb. I am Zeldin Tarr, and I would that you would tell me of your God.
Darstave seems to enjoy Nik's small talk, smiling and engaging with her in chat, but he remains evasive when questioned about the tests yet to come. "I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise for you," he says grinning, "I'm sure it isn't anything beyond your abilities though, you certainly seem quite skilled... have you danced professionally?"
I sure have! I ve been dancing ever since I got to Absolom! By Calistria I LOVE 2 entertain!
NIK goes to her hold habits of serving the people at the table. She pays special attention to her noble protector Alexian and to her host Darstave: breaking their bread, handing them their water and cheese, big smiles as she serves them. Then she remembers how Daryan gave her this new idea for a dance so she serves him well too, then the shy Zeldin who gave her a nice look, then Samant who amuses her with his big club and awkward ways, then Garion who seems to like her beloved Desna!

"Much appreciated, love", says Alexian with a tired, but warm smile as she serves him.
Even if it is NIK's second nature and background to serve people like that, doing it with all her cuteness and seduction, she also does it so people get used to having her close or in their back (like when she serves them drinks and food), so she is always able to hear private conversations, etc. NIK learned in her youth that servants are often ignored like that and that can be a plus for her!
Dont get me wrong It doesnt mean that she doesnt REALLI enjoy being close to her friends or enjoy the seduction of sexy studs like Alexian! giggle
