A little yellow bear with black ears walks up to Gittik. Whispers something in Gittik's ear.

Only Gittik can see the little yellow bear.

Oso steps up five foot and unloads on the prone mindflayer with his sword in two hands, seeing Gittik in a heap he takes particualr pleasure in raging at the damned beast.

"RAR!"

Rage, Power Attack, Haste, Improved Crit borrowed for this round, First attack 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34, damage 1d10 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22, Hasted attack 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33, damage 1d10 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16, secondary attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25, damage 1d10 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21.

The mindflayer's about 10 feet away as the crow flies; he has to go around Pip and the plantyman, who can get an aoo in on Oso.....

Sorry Heathy, I worked out I could get t him and forgot to check where the others were. Just plain weekend lazy. But I would have taken the hit from the plantyman like you said, thanks.

The warrior priest nods as the rolling head comes to a stop.

It's all good when a mindflayer gets decapitated. I was enjoying the fight, but the cliffhangers waiting for saves were making me twitchy.

"Hee hee! Little yellow bear!"

Altai glances over at Elgan. "You mean big brown bear, right?" He then hoses down a little plant-monster with gouts of fire.

I'm using my extra spell slot from my bonded object to cast Scorching ray one more time, aiming at the vegepygmy slicing up Pip. Ray 1: Attack roll 11+8+1(haste)=touch AC 20, damage 14 fire. Ray 2: Attack roll 10+8+1=touch AC 19, damage 12 fire.

It's all good when a mindflayer gets decapitated.

Altai scorches the little bastard but good; it's the first damage he's taken though, so he's not all that worried about it yet.

Elganbear doesn't even blink, but he IS starting to get angry at the irritatingly mobile veg-head! He shifts in mid-roar from dire bear to Dire lion! His feline reflexes snapping him into even faster motion as he snaps, claws, and snaps again at the hyperactive soon-to-be-salad!

Wohoo! Anything special about its coat, or did it just look cool? I'll take it anyway, of course... BTW - I have a better INT device, so I'm not interested; it would be great for Pip, Oso or Beldan. A question for Heathy - what skill does he headband provide ranks in?
