Flint floats over to Mountain becoming solid as he lands.
Mountain - +1 AC, he can end effect as minor action to get HS+6 Temp HP to himself and one ally within 5 squares, +2 to one attack roll after he rolled it today.
Ferdinand - Using APs to make an attack nets you either an extra 8 damage or 8 temp hp if the attack misses.
Flint +2 to AC until next turn.

Wait a minute, I didn't slide myself to L23, I slid the stirge. I don't want to be next to that thing...
Oh well, it's already taken its turn, and it could just as easily have moved over to me, so the outcome would probably be the same. I'll just be more clear next time.

"Get off, you Khyber-spawned..." Ferdinand attempts to kick off the beetle, then brings his tratnyr against it.
Athletics check to get it off: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18, then using Greater Magic Weapon on it(Adjacent allies get +3 to attack, damage, weapons count as brutal 1)1d20 + 17 ⇒ (8) + 17 = 25
Flint should be one square North in I33, so he can flank with Mountain.
Malick(male human Resourceful Warlord/Commando Captain 13)
Move: Shift to flank with Typhus
Viper's Strike (AC) on R4. 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (20) + 18 = 38. Crit. 20hp damage. If R4 hasn't been hit yet, it takes an additional 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9 damage for the Challenge-seeking halberd property. If R4 shifts before the end of Malick's next turn, Typhus gets a basic melee attack on it.
With that in mind (and trust me, I know the pain of tracking) would it be possible to show what hasn't been hit yet? Flint also has a Challenge seeking weapon.
"Gonna crunch you little bugs. That's the natural order."
Rennik attempts to remove the stirge clinging to him.
Acrobatics 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
If possible, he uses illusory ambush on stirge 1. 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (11) + 17 = 28 vs Will (includes combat advantage, since no one has attacked that stirge since I hit it last), 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 psychic damage and -2 to attacks until the end of my next turn and grants combat advantage.
Malick - All monsters have been hit at least once.
Malick flanks with Typhus and bloodies R4 with a mighty swing of his halberd.
Rennik struggles to get free but cannot free himself from the voracious stirge. His illusory assault does strike sending a spasmodic surge through the stirge before it continues feeding.
Roach #1 drags Ferdinand towards the stones causing 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 damage.
Roach #2 drags Typhus towards the stones causing 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 damage.
Roaches #4, #5 and #6 gang up on malick trying to bring him to the ground.
R4 – attack vs AC 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28 Malick is grabbed, knocked prone and takes 2d4 + 9 ⇒ (2, 2) + 9 = 13 damage.
R5 – attack vs AC 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31 Malick is grabbed, knocked prone and takes 2d4 + 9 ⇒ (3, 2) + 9 = 14 damage.
R6 – attack vs AC 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17 misses.
Mountain again bats at stirge #3, attack vs AC 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33 damage = 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15, blooding the vermin.
Mountain - +1 AC, he can end effect as minor action to get HS+6 Temp HP to himself and one ally within 5 squares, +2 to one attack roll after he rolled it today.

Combat Tumbleset, shift Flint's speed, currently 8 due to Razorclaw Shifting, to P25, shifting through an enemy's square is allowed. If someone has a power that can shift Flint one more square, he would like to be one square west, P24, so he can flank with Malick.
Malick(male human Resourceful Warlord/Commando Captain 13)
Flint Spears the stige on his dagger killing the pest instantly. Flint flicks the stirges dead body to the ground which hits with a sploosh of a water balloon and with catlike speed Flint then sprints to Malick’s aid.

"Get off!" Ferdinand once again tries to kick off the beetle before stabbing it again, and nearby weapons begin to thrum with dark power.

Ferdinand finally manages to kick of the offending roach stabbing it as he does so. asuming you stood up.

"This isn't good. I don't plan to die on the mandibles of bugs. Let's work gentlemen."
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (6) + 14 = 20 - Athletics to break out of R4's tender grasp
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34 - Athletics to break out of R5's grasp.
If he makes it he shifts as part of the second move to flank with Flint.
Either way, he'll use an AP. If he didn't break the grab, then he'll use Wolf Pack tactics to shift Flint one. Flint gains concealment (Commando Captain power).
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34 - attack on R4. That should hit, doing 1d10 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18 (extra damage from gauntlets on bloodied foe).
1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9 hp healed from Ferdinand.
He conjures an illusionary attacker to come to his aid against the stirge.
Phantasmal Assailant on this annoying critter. 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (19) + 17 = 36 vs Will. 2d10 + 9 ⇒ (2, 2) + 9 = 13 psychic damage on a hit. Regardless of whether it hits or misses, the bug is now taking ongoing 5 psychic damage and grants combat advantage to all of my allies (save ends).
Malick kicks off the roaches rolls to flank with Flint and delivers a hacking blow with his halberd to R4.
Rennik can’t get a good enough grip on the blood slick insect to pull it from his neck so Rennik summons a psychic helper that pierces the stirges mind blooding it.
Mountain - +1 AC, he can end effect as minor action to get HS+6 Temp HP to himself and one ally within 5 squares, +2 to one attack roll after he rolled it today.
Flint, Malick and Typhus heal 1d6+3 when they hit with a weapon before the end of Ferdinand’s next turn.

Roach #4 attacks Flint - attack vs AC 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 and misses.
Mountain makes a charging attack on the stirge at rennik’s neck – Runious onslaught vs AC 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (6) + 14 = 20, Damage = 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (1, 6) + 6 = 13 smacking the bug and dazeing it also.

MAP
Malick is up.
Malick(male human Resourceful Warlord/Commando Captain 13)
"Never did like bugs."
Rolling on the ground in the grip of roaches and bleeding badly, Malick swings his halberd to attack both his foes.
Bloodied on 21hp.
Staggering Spin. Close burst 1, enemies only, v Fort. On hit, target is pushed one square and if it ends adjacent to an ally, that ally can make a free melee basic attack as an OA. Miss, half damage, no push.
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (19) + 18 = 37 v R5 (with CA)
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (12) + 16 = 28 v R6
On hit 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
R5 pushed to S27 next to Flint for melee basic OA
R6 pushed to T24 next to Typus for melee basic OA
That had better work ... (forced movement breaks a grab, so if that does hit, Malick's free from the grab.
If he is free, he'll use his move to stand up. Both Inspiring Words have been used. Who's in bad shape for hp apart from him?
I know we're still waiting on some opportunity attacks, but it isn't going to impact my turn.
Rennik again attempts to free himself from the stirge. Acrobatics 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20.
Rennik sends a illusory bolt at the dastardly stirge.
Phantom bolt on my parasite. 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35 vs Will, 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 psychic damage and I slide the stirge to N24 and it grants combat advantage.
Typhus will shift one square north, curse the bug in front of him and use Dire Radiance: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 vs. Fort; 1d6 + 10 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 10 + (5, 3) = 19 radiant damage. If it moves closer to me on its next turn, it takes 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 damage
CRITICAL! Max damage equals 16 damage plus 8 curse damage for 24 radiant damage!
Move action, shift one square north to Q27 and then move 3 more squares to N24 as part of Deft Strike at-will attack power to flank with Mountain. Deft Strike(Dagger) with CA, 1d20+18=29 vs Stirge #1 AC, 1d4+9+3d8+4=3+9+20+4=36 damage.
"Get OFF" Ferdinand kicks the beetle again before attempting to stab it twice more.
Athletics check to get it off:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9, then spending an action point, using Aggravating Force, then using Greater Magic Weapon with the action point. (+1 to attack and +1d6 to damage until the end of my next turn.) Aggravating Force:1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31
Ferdinand still cannot break the roaches grab on him but his magic charged Trantyr kills the bug and his second strike removes its head allowing Ferdinand to finally be free of most of the roach.
Ferdinand
Spoiler:
Further into the stones you notice a passageway lined with cut stones leading down. The passageway is 10 feet wide and partially obscured with dirt. A faint glow can be seen emanating from it. It is also where the roach was dragging you.
Stone passageway
Malick(male human Resourceful Warlord/Commando Captain 13)
"Cavalry's staying right here. Got bugs to crunch, people to move..."
Malick sounds uncommonly cheerful as he slams his halberd into the nearest roach.
Bloody Ending (AC) v R5.
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29. On hit does 2d10 + 15 ⇒ (10, 5) + 15 = 30 and allies get +2 to attacks against it to the end of his next turn.
If that removes R5, Malick will move to V27 in preparation for setting up a flank with Flint or whoever can get near to R6. If not, he'll stay put.
Rennik moves a little closer and assails the roach with illusory ambushers.
Move to O22 and Illusory Ambush on the roach. 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35 vs Will, 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 psychic damage, it takes -2 to attack rolls until the end of my next turn, and it grants combat advantage to my next ally that attacks it.
Edit: Of course I get a crit when there is one bug left that is barely standing... Maximum damage is 15 + 3d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 3) = 9 for the orb, if I remember correctly. I don't have access to the Compendium right now, so let me know if I have that stat wrong for the Orb of Mental Dominion +3.
Orb of Mental Dominion
A spellcaster channeling his mind through this orb gains mental prowess over foes, forcing them to relive the effects of a spell.
Level: 11
Price: 9,000 gp
Implement (Orb)
Enhancement: +3 attack rolls and damage rolls
Power (Daily): Free Action. Use this power when an attack with this orb succeeds against the target’s Will defense. When the target makes a saving throw against an effect from that attack, the target must roll twice and take the lower result.
Revision (2/10/2009)
Replace “Critical: +1d6 psychic damage per plus” with “Critical: None”.
First published in Adventurer's Vault.
Sorry but no extra damage for the critical.
Rennik's illusion sends the last roach twitching to the ground where it dies with a chitering scream.
