So my weekend was quite busy, and I'm just now completing my mandatory work and studying (10 pm). It was well worth it, though I should have begun studying earlier, but it will be well in the end anyway; I always come through.
What did everyone else do?
So I'm going to assume we're on break for a bit, which is fine by me, as I have some things to do, which take up most of my time.
I will be free of these issues after friday, have about a month of time to relax and then it'll likely start up again.
It's quite possible that the next round is going to be our last anyway. We can't reach the beastie, and who knows how many rounds there are before it can spit acid again...
Then I guess we play the party that gets sent to find out what happened to the last party. :)
It would be nice if we could finish. :-\ None of the other games I enrolled into at paizo before this one were finished, and things were just getting interesting. But of course, if our DM is having real life issues, that is something we should respect.
It's like Schrodinger's party. We are neither alive nor dead, until that next round is resolved. Does the beetle spit again? Do we pull out a win? We may never know!
And the intrepid heroes, after much sacrifice and toil, successfully returned the flame to their village. They retired from adventuring and lived long, healthy, happy lives. Future generations were regaled with stories of their triumph.
