I'm probably spoiled bt Wayne Reynolds but I think this art is terrible.

I didn't like very much the art from #7 too. Waiting to see more of #8.

Personally, I think it’s a vast improvement over issues #1-6.

Also: Val, even for dealing with a goblin, and even after all that happened with gobbos last arc, that was kind’a mean. Funny, but mean.

Even before I looked at these comments, I was thinking to myself that it looked 'fascinatingly grotesque'.

I knida like the art. Good for comic books. But why is Valeros letting 135 XP just run away??

Comic book art appreciation has always been a matter of personal taste. A good example would be McFarland. Some people sing his praises while others say it is not worth the paper it was printed on (I fall into the loved his early works but hate his later stuff catagory). There will always be people discussing how good or bad a particular artist is.

As for letting the goblin get away, Valeros may be thinking there are more goblins and the fighting will be better if he follows the goblin to his lair.

What I am questioning is why the goblin hadn't already tried to destoy the writing Ezram was studying. That should have been the first thing the goblin did when he got to the area. I think he must be a little teched in the head (moreso than a regular goblin).

He found a creative way of overcoming the challenge presented by the encounter. I say full XP!

Well, I suppose It could be worse. Liefeld could be the "artist" for the next arc.

Wayne Reynolds is an amazing Illustrator but to defend Jake Bilboa and comic artists in general, we have to draw around 1 page a day, while illustrators like Reynolds have about a week or so to work on one image. Just putting that out there :)

Heh, if Ezren tells Seonic "I went to SCHOOL!" I'm going to think Jim snuck into my table last month. :-)

The art in most D and D and Pathfinder comics tends to be awful. The only one that I can remember really liking is the DC Forgotten Realms early comics done by Rags Morales.

Liefeld and artist are oxymorons.

I liked the previous artist better... Val looks like bogan with a mullet.

The story looks interesting

I may hold off on my buying and pick them up when the price drops...

You mean Rob Liefield? If i remember correctly he was the one behind X-Force some eons ago (i quit american super hero comics more than 10 years ago so forgive my ignorance).

I agree, he is terrible.
