I love the work of Richard Lee Byers , and i´m sure he will make the PATHFINDER shine with his writting.

I really hope you enjoy Called to Darkness. I enjoyed it, but it is not very high on my Pathfinder Tales ranking (which isn't all that formed anyway). I'm trying to figure out why so that I can get a review written.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good book! I just thought it was not as good as Blood of the City, A Plague of Shadows, or Queen of Thorns. Those are my current top three in no particular order. However, that's only MY opinion, and my tastes in fiction are significantly different from others who post here.

I like the mixture of Tien and Inner Sea in her armor and weapons. It makes sense given that she lives near the Crown of the World. It's not how I picutured her when I read Called to Darkness, but that's because my mental picture for that book was Amiri, the iconic Barbarian.

Eovath is a little bit on the wild side. He seems to have a bit of fury boiling just under the surface. He keeps it well controlled for the most part, but it shines through just a bit every now and then.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this tale goes. I'll echo my earlier statement that I am glad to see a pre-Called to Darkness story of Kagur and Eovath. It will help to flesh out their characters.
