Gen Con Pathfinder Cosplay Contest Voting!

Friday, August 12th, 2011

It’s that time again! Though I failed in my sacred duty to announce the Annual Gen Con Pathfinder Cosplay Contest well ahead of time, we still had a number of unbelievably strong contenders this year, and it would be a shame not to crown one of them as the winner—a title which, in addition to bragging rights, confers $50 in paizo.com store credit. So let’s get voting!

Here’s how it works: Presented below are the photographs (and names, where possible) of this year’s contestants. In the comments thread for this blog, you can pick the ONE winner who you think has the most awesome Pathfinder-related costume and shout out your vote. You have until next Thursday at noon to get in your choices, after which we’ll announce the winner.

Your options are:

Jessica as a Gray Maiden

Leslie as Seoni

Jean-Marc as a paladin of Sarenrae and Luc as a paladin of Iomedae

Eric as our Iconic Alchemist


Bonnie as our Iconic Witch (and Corey as kilted barbarian)

Bonnie, great witch

Such a hard decision. They all did well as far as I can see, but Bonnie as the witch gets my vote.

Bonnie as the Iconic Witch (and Corey as kilted barbarian). I met them in the Hyatt elevators. Sadly that blurry picture does not do justice to the detail of her outfit.

I love all the Pathfinder costumes but I'd have to say that Jessica Gray Maiden costume was my favorite costume of the entire Con. Seriously can we get some more photos of it?

If we're voting for second place I'd have to say that Bonnie as the Iconic Witch beats Leslie as Seoni by a hair.

Any chance of getting better (i.e. larger) photos of the couple small ones. I believe Leslie as Seoni is getting stifled because of the quality of the upload.

Bonnie as Feiya! I saw her at the PFS room and she looked fabulous. Jessica is also epic!

PS thanks for the kind comments for an outfit I literally threw together from scarves and a tablecloth :P

It's between the Gray Maiden and the Witch, but I think the Gray Maiden wins.

Next time, use a better camera, a blurry shot like that doesn't do the costumes justice.

Based on the photographs, I'd have to give it to Jessica as the Gray Maiden.

But I saw that witch costume of Bonnie's in person and it's much more awesome than that blurry picture lets on.
