Agreed, intentionally or not that you can see one of her eyes just adds to the creepiness factor.

That sword looks awful sword-like. I thought that wasn't allowed?

I think it's a NERF sword with some spray paint.

Scarab Sages

I've been watching this being made, and it's good to see the final result.

I want more pictures!

Also there's a rumor that Pygon was in that picture but was cropped out. Any truth to this?

I think most of the time they allow real-looking swords and things just as long as it is accompanied by a costume. Not REALLY sure though because it seems like it's hit and miss? Who knows. They let me in with my rocket launcher just fine but it didn't look anywhere near a real AT4 or anything.

Hopefully more pictures of her will roll in, it was so hot, I don't think she was in the costume very long. Unfortunately I missed seeing it in person because I was a sickly loser stuck in the hotel for a few more hours than I would have liked.

Thanks for the costume lovin'! That's me in that sweltering hot polystyrene armor, and yeah, I wasn't in it for long, only about two hours. I think I only have one other picture so far from GenCon, so there it is. I will most assuredly be wearing it at PaizoCon next year at the very least!

Great costume. From the pictures and video I've seen it was my favorite of the con.

Nice to 'meet' you Barda.

Like I said above, that I think I can see your eye (and only one!) through the helmet slit makes it creepier somehow.

You know you'll have to wear that to the next Kingmaker session, right?

Hahahaha consider your proposal...considered.

So, I guess there's a need for some clarification? I only wore my costume for 2 hours 'cause 1) I was really sick that day and 2) I had a game coming up. Not 'cause it was too hot. Yeah, it made me incredibly sweaty and gross afterwards, but it certainly wasn't unwearable, not by a long shot. In all actuality, the costume is pretty comfortable, and I can move around easily, and pose and stuff.

Point is, I go to GenCon to play a ton of pathfinder games, and that took precedence over costume wearing. Also, gaming while under the weather is a bit easier than walking around while under the weather, no matter what you're wearing. Also, I didn't know I'd be entered into a costume contest. :P
