Very nice and very useful!

You simply cannot have enough armors and weapons. And this set does exactly that with almost every weapon out there, some with a twist or an innovative description. Gets the creative juices flowing from a GM's point, alsso from a player's point of view (give a cool description and players make up their own backstories for the weapons which the GM can then use, or not). Excellent stuff, love them!

Not my style

I didn't like the style of the art on these cards very much. Most items look a bit too cartoony, and several of the swords, especially the bastard sword, look a bit weird, with hilts that are too small and thin for their blades. Many of the other weapons are roundish and "bubbly", not managing to give you the sense that they are made from hard wood and sharp metal.
That said, there are some really great pieces in here that I will be using in my games, and the quality of the cards themselves are very good, although the art is disappointing.

A fine set and a great idea

Really, every GM knows that regardless of whatever awesome and curious magic items and artifacts he throws out there, what the players want most is magic weapons. Having a 54 card deck of just weapons is a very good plan. Some of the weapons in this set are interesting or slightly strange/unusual, which is fine by me. I wouldn't mind seeing more of that.

What I'd really like to see next is a 54 card deck entirely full of armor. Or maybe armor and clothing.

Oh, to clear something up real quick, this set was not actually done by the same artist as Second Darkness.

All weapons, disapointing art

I looked through all the cards as soon as I received the pack and I was happy to see all the weapons. I was disappointed with the art of several of the weapons, though most of them were good enough with a couple being amazing. In particular, the spear looked too elaborate, even if it was magical.

The weapon labeled as falchoin isn't even a falchoin. It is a type of short sword, and the handle clearly isn't for two handed use.

Beside those complaints I am happy with the product and will be using them as often as I can.

Substandard

I absolutely love the Item Cards and have almost every set now, but whoever did this set also did the set for Second Darkness. Neither of those sets reach the high standards of the other cards.

nice collection

these are really great items and it's a great idea to have a deck completely composed of weapons (because the party I lead have loads of weapons and only few things like rings, potions wands and stuff)

It would even be a bit greater if the cards were in alphabetic order^^
