An awesome start to memoriable D&D history again
Note I found using airphoto crayons (stabilo)helps to keep notes
The cards are a 10 out of 10 in my game room.....again and the sparkle in my gamer eyes is like they have rubies and diamonds......especially when i say....pick a card....from my hand.....and this is what you find.........in the chest or sack
As a relic from the 1st edition days.....again to have those imagination jucies flowing ......is what D&D was about
and any thing in that tool box to help the GM/DM is a 10.
Now PAIZO if you could make cards decks for all the basic items/treasure lists in the DM guide 3rd edition.....i would buy each twice....i'm talking just a ring deck, potion deck, sword deck....that would be the ultimate accessory!!!
the artifacts.....
make pazio mine....
Excellent deck of cards they work well with any system and the artwork is just wonderful. Every deck so far has been great and this is no exception. Well worth picking up for any fantasy campaign.
Marx believed that specializing in one area made one an expert. Paizo/Gamemastery Item Cards- specifically the Elements of Power deck- shows how wonderful this idea comes to full bloom. The images are great, as are the descriptions. I just received my set today, and am anxiously awaiting the .pdf version of the TC module from Gamemastery from the Treasure Chest this November (I already had other parts of the Treasure Chest, so I am just ordering this deck and the .pdf.
A great addition to any game, bringing the art of a fantasy world into your player's hands. Having a rather large selection of the item cards the possibilies are limitless. The Players understand they stand against a fow worthy when you reveal a image of the enemies gear.
What could be better?
Perhaps a plastic satin finish on the back where the description is, to allow for pencil to be used and erased.
Overall I eagerly look foward to new packs.
Keep up the great work.
This set has a few cards that are special repeats of other decks...like the longsword, longbow, and rings and such, but they are based more on the elements. However, the best thing about this deck are the other items that are included. Things like pigments, paintbrush, ankh, bowl, and tons more that make it a versitile and useful deck of items. One of the best yet released.

I'm really digging the item card packs. But I'm more of a post-apocalyptic setting fan. Any word on developing sci-fi/p.a. style item cards?
