Arena is 40x40 - Urban Environment - Gravel
Welome one and all to the First Annual Battle Royale. Today's match will feature the great and powerful Dorian Brindale Leafthorn, Ranger and Horizon Walker, but the most incredible feature? He is one of the last remaining Azlanti Purebloods! But his opponent! A creature we know little about. It's nothing more then an empty humanoid shape, but seems to wink out of existance from time to time, and then come back so bright that it will blind you if you look directly at it!
I give you our fight! Contestants will know begin their prep!
Roll Initiative
Pleroma Initiative 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Dorian Leafthorn |
Dorian quickly surveys the environment attempting to focus in on his opponent (assuming there is a visible line of sight)
If no line of sight then Dorin readies his bow for a quick snap shot should his opponent reveal itself unexpectedly.
Initiative roll: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (9) + 21 = 30
Dorian Leafthorn |
Dorian uses his wand to buff himself
Use Magic device DC 20 to use a wand: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (18) + 19 = 37
+6 luck to attack and damage, +18 Temp HP, bonus attack does not stack with haste or speed effects)
does not effect me this combat but may on others regarding buffing to change my favored terrain will effect my initiative check how will this be handled?

Dorian can hear the sounds of a loud rumbling twinkling and the gates on the arena open. A large creature enters on the opposite side of the arena. It seems to fade in and out of reality as it stares at Dorian
Round 1, Dorian First, Go!
Dorian Leafthorn |
Round 1
initiative: 30
Dorian flys out into the arena (5' step) bow in hand and lets the arrows fly (using Hover and staying just inches off the ground)
might as well get this thing started. If I am to fall to this beast best make it remember me!
full attack, Deadly aim, manyshot, and rapid shot assuming it is not within 30' for point blank but given the small area of the arena it is quite possible. also for the first round only using normal arrows.
Shot #1: attack 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (13) + 36 = 49 Damage:2d8 + 58 ⇒ (2, 2) + 58 = 62(two arrows from many shot)
Shot #2: attack 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (12) + 31 = 43 Damage:1d8 + 29 ⇒ (8) + 29 = 37
Shot #3: attack 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (5) + 26 = 31 Damage:1d8 + 29 ⇒ (7) + 29 = 36
Shot #4: attack 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (3) + 21 = 24 Damage:1d8 + 29 ⇒ (3) + 29 = 32
Shot #5: attack 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (19) + 36 = 55 Damage:1d8 + 29 ⇒ (6) + 29 = 35(rapid shot)
Shot #6: attack 1d20 + 36 ⇒ (12) + 36 = 48 Damage:1d8 + 29 ⇒ (3) + 29 = 32(speed ability)
if within point blank then add +1 to each attack roll and +1 to damage from each arrow.

Several of the arros strike true and the creature zero's in on Dorian. It appears to concentrate on Dorian for several seconds

Shard's Talon attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 damage 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
