I like being a Charter Subscriber and want to continue to subscribe after the Serpent's Skull AP is finished.
But....
But really it boils down to $120 for one campaign.
And I haven't even read most of it. I had time to read 1-4 of RotRL, skim through the first 2 of SD, the first 4 of LoF and just a few days ago read the first 2 of Kingmaker. Haven't looked at the new one yet. (I'm still holding off on spoilers from CotCT and CoT so I can be a PC). But I haven't read any of the APs completely. (Not that I haven't run material from them, of course)
Honestly, between 150 issues of Dungeon, over 50 1E modules including ones from Dragon, another 25 or so 2E modules and about 3 or 4 dozen 3E adventures, not to mention Paizo's post Dungeon modules -- I'm set for life and beyond as a DM.
But really, I don't want to miss out and I really want to continue my support.
Is there any way that, come February for the next AP, I can change my subscription to the Adventure Paths to a subscription to the APs on PDF?

I totally understand your predicament, but we do not have a PDF-only subscription, and we have no plans currently to ever make one.
It pretty easy to predict what would happen if we offered a PDF-only subscription: A number of people would cancel their print sub and go PDF-only. The problem is if this number of people reaches a certain threshold, we make less money on the printed copies we do sell. At a certain point, it could happen that we stop making money on these altogether. It is selling these books in print form that keeps the doors open.

I was hoping that with 6 months of notice a PDF Subscription could be introduced by Feb but Paizo's stance seems correct.
I guess, come Feb, I'll cancel my subscriptions and purchase PDFs.
Of course, I've got 6 months to change my mind.
I'm not sure how much our shipping costs, but with the 15% discount you get on the print edition it makes it the same price as the PDF and that 15% extends to almost everything else purchased here, including other subscriptions.
After shipping, for less than $20 I get about $34 worth of products just for the AP sub alone.

Here is an idea, keep you AP subscription, and sell the print version for whatever would bring the price of the PDF low enough, $7 I don't think you'll have problems finding someone to snatch it off of your hands for that price.

Pricewise, I think the $20 copy that I get a discount on ends up being about the same with shipping.
Sell my print copies starting in Feb?....
Isn't that illegal?
Even if not, it seems pretty not cool.
And I know me, once the "Carrion In Ustalov" or whatever AP starts coming out, if I get the print copy in my hand I'd likely just say, Well, NEXT AP I'll start selling my print copies.

*shrug* They're all over eBay and Half.com and Amazon. It's just selling a used book; once you've bought it, it's your property to do with as you choose.
Of course, I agree that there would be a psychological barrier to not keeping it once it's in your hands, though.

It isn't illegal. It is illegal to sell or give away your PDF copies though. The physical copies though are yours to do with in terms of selling, give, or burn. Its up to you.
Me I am keeping my physical copies to sell or give to my son at a later date. I only use the PDF's really.

I can't think of any reason why we would have a problem with that. To mirror the previous posters, what you do with your print copies of your books that you purchase is your business... so long as you aren't making photocopies and selling those.
So it certainly is not illegal to sell your books, and it's probably not even "not cool".

Ah, okay.
I guess I'm thinking of making copies of movies or albums on CD and selling them.
So, I won't make copies of Paizo's stuff and sell it.
And I have 'til Feb to decide if I want to sell or keep print copies or just cancel my subscription and buy PDFs individually.
I think, unless I find someone to buy each print copy, I'll just cancel. It would really suck to sell a few print copies and be stuck with a few.
