Just to set the mood a bit, since folks will be starting out in Galisemni the City of the Celestial and the Damned, aka the Drifting City. It's been name dropped a dozen or so times in print, but it hasn't gotten a full write up. The city won't be the primary focus of the adventure, but the background atmosphere is worth noting.

Planar trade city that moves around the Maelstrom. Regardless of how you enter the city, either physically from the outside or via magic of any variety, you step into the city in one of the vast courtyards known as the 7 Gates, specifically in one of the gates corresponding to your nature as a fiend, celestial, mortal, elemental, etc. One of the courtyards is empty, unused and corresponds to no known plane. Each of the so-called Gates also features one of the so-called Watching Seven, massive stone statues of keketar proteans, considered by many to be figureheads and protectors of Galisemni. Some speculate that they're statues of the protean founders of the city, but none can say. They're heavily weathered and possibly predate the city itself. Unlike living keketars they don't possess magical halo-like crowns of drifting, glowing symbols, yet the Watchers cast shadows as if they do, and they radiate absolutely no magic whatsoever.

But one more bit of atmospheric teaser for the game:

“They gathered together, secure in their wisdom and calling together their allies to undertake the greatest act of creation the Maelstrom could know. They forged the gates and pierced the fabric of the cosmos, and in their hubris they either created the Abyss or found it already there as a reality distinct from their own. Either way being true, they had forged a bridge between them, infecting our reality with evil for the first time, and weakening the Maelstrom such that eventually, other concepts alien to the Cerulean Void would either emerge from it or themselves enter in from somewhere beyond. Galisemni was the seat of their power. Galisemni was their throne and the capstone of the gates. This is why the proteans dare not assault the Drifting City: they dare not burst the scar that formed in the wound between realities that the mad keketars, 7 in all, caused. The 7 are still here. Solidified, petrified, doomed to witness creation’s beauty but never again take part in it.”

– Statement by a madman to a crowd below the 1st Watcher in the courtyard of the Gate of the Mortal and Material. He died minutes later, set on fire by a falling lantern and burned to death. Attempts to extinguish the fire proved bizarrely ineffectual.
