Gary gave me a new toy to try out, so I thought we'd experiment with a question that comes up a lot around here, who is your favorite Dungeon author? I only included authors that have had an adventure published since issue 124 (the beginning of Age of Worms). I also didn't include any of the Paizo staff members, I know you guys love us :)

oh thats hard, can we only vote one? Thats the absolute beauty of Dungeon magazine, you guys have so many great authors submitting (and getting published).

As a side note, I guess this poll would be more official than the one Nic Logue started in another thread (at last count it was several thousand to about 6 in favour of Logue over Pett)...

I'm rather inordinately fond of "Home Under the Range" from Michael Kortes in #134... and since he seemed to be overlooked.... I went with "other"....

There are too many people to choose from. So many great and imaginative stories. Logue, Pett, Leati, etc. etc. What's a guy to do?

I voted GGG. It was tough between GGG and Mr. Wissel for the up and coming authors, 'cause both of those guys have written some truly creative and inspiring adventures.

Logue et al. have enough laurels for the moment (and deservedly so!). Time to give some spotlight to other also amazing authors.

And if you can it would be cool to get Mike Kortes name up top he really deserves it.

Where the hell is Greg Vaughan to defend himself! So many great choices though. I think if I could choose a second vote it would go to Steve Greer. Great job on Tides of Dread and I also liked the and am going to use the item Fiend's Embrace for my STAP campaign.

Demogorgon's got me in a Full Nelson (which last I heard was still illegal) on the "Prince of Demons", so more lurking than posting these days. And let me tell you, old baboon face with all his tentacles doesn't understand the meaning of the words "inappropriate touching"!

Anyway, I'm waiting on the West Coast polling stations to close before I concede anything.

BTW, I voted either for Logue or Pett, but I won't say which, because I don't want to here any crying from the little kid or cause an aneurysm in the old man. Okay, who am I kidding? I voted for me. But you can't prove anything!

P.S. While I appreciate Rich's push for "Kings of the Rift", I think I'd rather stake my claim on a little adventure called "Torrents of Dread" that I like to call "IP for the entire Savage Tide". Thank you, thank you very much (in Elvis voice).

I couldn't vote for my favorite authors from the 90s, so I decided to get into the Logue/Pett internet grudge match, and sell my vote to the highest bidder.

After reviewing their ridiculous low offers of tea towels and bruised mangoes, I voted for myself.

I blame my Chicago upbringing. If the cemetery vote carries me to victory, hurray!

You're my favorite too, but I couldn't vote for a tie or anything. Pett paid well in Styes adventures. ;)

Gotta go with Mr. Logue. Library of Last Resort remains one of my favorite Age of Worms Adventures. I remember getting teary eyed as I read the description of the final battle of the module (The dream), something that's never before happened to me in a game. I'm equally enjoying playing in his Savage Tide offerings, though as others have stated, its hard picking just one favorite...

Consider me coming in for Pett over Logue in the Battle of the Egos. Quality over quantity, fellows.

I kid, I kid. Seriously, I do prefer Pett's demented darkness to Logue's rather theatrical and dream-like style, but I've also loved every adventure Nicolas Logue's ever written.

Go Tito! Only ONE author brought us two adventures for Age of Worms. Champion's Belt and Dawn of a New Age will remain amongst my favourites for years to come.

My vote is for Steve for being able to weave a truly wonderful tale that fully immerses me. Because of his stories I am able to take my roleplaying up a notch.

I only wish that my current status allowed me to play every weekend.
