I'm running this with Pathfinder however the problem I can foresee is the three Clerics just sitting there and channeling negative energy and dumping 7d6 worth of damage every round. As this obviously never happened in playtest etc has anyone found this multiple cleric thing an issue?

Obviously, it depends on positioning, but wouldn't they damage their own human/tiefling/whatever troops and each other, doing so ?

Maybe I am mistaken, but I don't remember reading that a negative channeling cleric is immune to others doing the same, which effectively limits the usefulness of said tactics... (ow, soory for the grammar).

Yea, but they can selectivly channel and being evil wouldn't care two cents if they were zapping followers. It just struck me as being overkill. It wasn't in 3.5 so no problem. Multiple clerics could prove very dangerous.

What do you meanby "selectively channel" ? The clerics can only choose to affect themselves, or not to, but they would zap each other. Which would be more of an inconveniance than killing off followers, in a tactical sense.

There is a feat which allows clerics to pick and choose who is affected by the channelling. Going to change some clerics to adepts.

The backup clerics and the main cleric could be encounted in different rooms. That is what I did when I ran it with 3.5 rules. There is a hallway on the right hand side of the map. Having at least one of them in that area could make things less problematic.
