I just wanted to give a public thanks to you for the great post with the menu for the feest. We attended the feest this saturday and all of our players had a great time. The purple worm aspic was great. The look on one of my players face when she took the first bite was priceless. Thanks again for the great idea. Kevin Brown

Hear, hear. I'm nowhere near that point yet, but I've already recruited a couple of friends to help cook and serve (and play NPCs). We're *really* looking forward to it.

Seconded!! My group just finished the banquet, and had a blast. I'd not have thought to do something like this, had I not seen the recipes. Further, I'm going to "steal" the pot pie recipe as one of my regular recipes. So good!

I used blackberry-raspberry jello with blueberry applesauce for the purple worm aspic, as my group generally despises grape flavored foods. One of my players, upon seeing it, summed up it's appearance pretty well. "You can't see through it! It absorbs the light! And.. ugh.. it's STILL jiggling!"

I don't think anyone is going to forget the Tojbasarrirge, which took me about 20 minutes just to get used to saying it. (Toej-BASS-are-rirge is the closest thing I could come up with.) I take sadistic pleasure in knowing that my players, as well as friends who played NPCs, will never be able to have pollock fillets, chicken deli slices, ground beef, liverwurst, or kielbasa ever again without thinking of this horribly delightful culinary abomination.

This will be a fond memory for all of us for the rest of our days... Thanks!

I concur! We had an awesome time with the feast. There was now ay I could have prepared all of the food nyself, so I emailed one recipe to each player who was responsible for making the food. They were sworn to secrecy and were not divulge the ingredients until after the feast. We served some mead and one of the guys made dandelion wine. A good time for all!

Many accolades to Vyvyan for the original concept and the recipes!

Vyvyan deserves a hip-hip-hoorah for his excellent work in bringing the feast alive for so many people in so graphic a way.

Bravo sir, bravo!

I can't seem to locate that post, can anyone provide a link? I convinced my wife to do the cooking :-)

Thanks!

Thanks!

I remember having a heck of a time finding it too, and now I can't find it again either. Can't remember what search term(s) I used the first time... But I did copy/paste the recipes into a Word document, which I still have. If you can figure out some way to PM me (if Paizo forums have PM capability?) with an email address, I'd be happy to email you a copy. If not, and if nobody posts a link to VB's original recipes post withina reasonable time, I'll try and remember to copy/paste it all back into a post here sometime soonish.

Kang

Hey Kang

Not sure if Paizo has PMing so my email is: Petrankov@yahoo.com

Send it over when you have a chance, thank you much. :-)

I believe this is the thread here

Thanks so much!
