FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar Woo-hoo!
Reviewer: MaxSlasher26

After waiting for a long while to get this issue, I was happy to se that it was worth the wait. This is truly the best issue of Dragon EVAR!

-Monsters of the Mind-
A work of sheer beauty! This masterpiece of mind-flaying monsters makes me want to traipse down into the Underdark, find some and use them to beat down on my PCs!
PERSONAL FAVORITE: Brainstealer Dragon

-Demonomicon of Iggwilv: Zuggtmoy-
Another great article! I love the Demonomicon, and this article was everything it needs to be. New spells, plenty of new monsters, a prestige class, and hallucinating rules among other things.
PERSONAL FAVORITE: Hallucination Rules

-Lords of Dust-
As an Eberron fan, I was looking forward to this, and I was not dissapointed. Great cover of some of Eberron's most fearsome evils.
PERSONAL FAVORITE: Sul Khatesh

-Other Articles of Interest-
The Ecology of the Shadar-Kai was pretty darn cool. I also liked the Bazaar of the Bizzare. The face paint idea was unique and awesome!

-Drow Outpost-
I love this miniature map! This is perfect for so many games, and for DDM skirmishes. I already have 10 possible encounters set up for it and counting.

Great issue. Just a great, great issue. :)

This is the second month in a row that it shows up on News Stands before I get my copy that supposedly shipped 20 days before appearing in news stands. Love the magazine but really getting tired of the wait.
PS The wait might not be so bad if there was an explanation

FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar Great Issue!
Reviewer: Takasi

As an Eberron DM of Age of Worms and a DDM fan this issue is a valuable resource.

The Good:

Drow Outpost - Haven't picked up Fantastic Locations yet, so this is my first DDM legal map. This will definately find a use in my game, and I've already heard buzz about it on the boards.

Monsters of the Mind - Excellent. I will use all of these monsters at some point. Brainstealer dragon is the best of both worlds. The article also includes placement suggestions and hooks for Eberron.

Lords of Dust - Great work. Looking forward to seeing more from Keith Baker in Dragon.

The Not-So-Good:

Ecology of Shadar-Kai - Not too much to complain about, but I didn't see suggestions for Eberron use. I also wish they reprinted the stats from Fiend Folio in 3.5 format.

Class Acts - Again, many of these articles seemed more like filler.

While I don't play Eberron, the Lords of Dust article was fascinating. I especially liked the ecology of the Shadar-Kai. There were few weak points in this magazine, and I'm always a sucker for a good miniatures scale battle mat...the Drow Outpost is an excellent added value. Great job, Paizo.
