Hey everyone! I'm recruiting for another lovely high tier scenario! Words of the Ancients is a 7-11, and as usual, I'll take the first 6 recruits to sign up!

After countless divinations and the efforts of undercover agents throughout Varisia, the Pathfinder Society has discovered the location of the last component needed to awaken a sleeping runelord. In a mad dash to beat the cult of Lissala to this ancient Thassilonian ruin, the Pathfinders must do whatever it takes to ensure they and not the evil cultists acquire the power within. But the arcane components are not unguarded, and even after 10,000 years, the cost of ensuring the safety of the region could be higher than the veteran adventurers are prepared or willing to pay.

I have several options depending on subtier and party composition.

Unchained Monk/Sorcerer/Dragon Disciple 10
Swashbuckler/Ranger/Vigilante 9
Hunter/Fighter 9
Unchained Barbarian/Druid 8
Fighter/Inquisitor 8

I'd also like to sign up and have a few options.

Verdant Sorcerer 11 (battlefield control focus)
Tripping focused Flowing Monk (8-9)
Evangelist Cleric 10 (less healing more buffing)
Gnome Battle Ladder Warpriest 8 (twf and slow as all get out)

I would be interested, I have a lot of character options between 8 and 10.

I have run and played this previously so would need to burn a GM star on it. If you prefer to take someone who isnt replaying then obviously that would be fine.

Enora, I won't say no to a pregen so long as you keep in mind that anything that happens to the pregen (Such as horrible death) happens to your character, and people have a nasty habit of dying horrible deaths in these higher level games.

If your cool with that, then I see no reason why you can't play as a pregen.

Looks like low-tier might be the direction we're heading. Both my level 8 PCs are front-liners with out of combat healing capabilities.

The barbarian/druid probably does more damage than the fighter/inquisitor, but the fighter/inquisitor has more useful knowledge skills.

Takkit can lay down some decent damage. He went head to head with a Remorhazz that killed two other party members and killed it on his own. It was either him take it one on one and hope to kill it, or lose both the healer and the caster as it had already taken out both our frontliners. It was a brutal battle.

That being said, please don't make me do that again. I was very worried about his well being for the entire duration of the fight.

Sadly it looks like I'm going to have to take my hat out of this ring. I already played this one. Sorry! I should have paid more attention.

Toctep: lvl 7 draconic disciple: deals massive damage and eats that as well because he has next to no AC.
Deaglan: lvl 10 melee cleric
Eolowyn: lvl 10 archer

Between level 7 and 9 I can provide:

Alchemist 7
Druid 8
Sorcerer 8
Inquisitor 9
Magus 9
Occultist 9
Alchemist 9

With Magabeus, we'll have 5 players. If you guys wanna go ahead and get started, by majority vote we'll go, but otherwise I'd like to wait for a 6th to give you guys your best chances.

Recruitment has been open for almost a week at this point. How long do you want to wait for a 6th?

I am good to go. For the 5 of us I will pick Deaglan given that season 4 is rather lethal and we do not get the 4player adjustment.

Glad you mentioned that, Magabeus. I still have to apply Takkit's last chronicle sheet for his money and all.

5 players is really the worst number.

I would rather wait a little bit for a 6th. Maybe until the weekend?

A bit unclear at the moment.

I think we have a 7th, 8th, and 10th settled. I can play 8, 9, or 10, and andreww 7, 8, or 9.

So our APL is anywhere from 8 to 8.8. We'll either be 7-8 or 10-11 (4-player).

I could offer this fine fellow, who will undoubtedly offend, bother and bewitch you.

I would be using a replay, so priority should go to others. Also, I'd prefer playing higher tier.

With Minmaximus we have:

Arcanist 7
Wizard 8
Rogue 8
Cleric 10

With 6 players we will be able to play down if our total levels are 50 or less.

So that leaves 17 levels between andreww and I.

Andreww, do you have a preference?

Is Takkit level 8 or 9? The profile says 8, but it also says 24 xp which would be level 9.

Can I apply with a level 9 monk? I'm at work right now but I can give all relevant info later tonight.

It would appear his is 9. I have to apply my sheet from To Scale a Dragon to his stats as well as purchases. I haven't used this guy in a while.

zer0darkfire, I think we might be full at this point, but I'll have to have the GM confirm that.

Even if Takkit is 9th, we still have 17 levels between myself and andreww before we are forced the high tier (I forgot that if we are exactly 8.5 we can choose round down and play 7-8 still, it's only after that we are forced to round up and play up.)

Once andreww chooses a PC I will choose which ever one keeps us playing low subtier.

I would be GM star relaying so happy to sit oout in favour of zer0darkfire.

So levels appear to be 10, 9, 9, 8, 7 that means I think I need to play one of my level 8 PCs to keep us from bumping to higher subtier.

APL: 10 + 9 + 9 + 8 + 8 + 7 = 51/6 = 8.5.

I'll probably go with my barbarian/druid.
