Liberty's Edge

This is PFS Playtest for the Rose Street Revenge as part of PBP gameday!

If there's enough interest, I'm looking to run two tables, but may consider 3 tables. We will start on about Oct 1st or as early as Mid-Sept.

If you're interested, post below! If you have not played with me before, do read my profile to understand my GM & PBP expectations! Thanks!

Checking in! I'd like to try out either a druid or a sorcerer.

Definitely interested, would like to try out a sorcerer or bard

@GM Batpony:I am new to Pathfinder society only playing in 1 Starfinder mission so far. I am interested in playing with you and have read your profile and can get behind your GM rules. I don't have a character made yet so I would create one specifically. I am leaning toward Cleric or Paladin.

Thank you for your consideration.

I'd love to play as a PC, I'm running it as a GM for the first part of Gameday because I didn't see any tables that were still open at the time. I've got a Fighter and a Bard rolled up so far.

Hey sanity! I'm happy to take on new folks. Although please note that this is the playtest version of the new pathfinder rpg, and not pathfinder society for the existing version. If you're familiar with the ongoing playtest and/or iinterested to join, you're in the right place!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

@GMBatpony: I see you're signed up for my Session 1 PF2-PT-01, so we can scratch each other's backs, so to speak, haha.

Some examples of prior posting history, if it will help:

- Elf alchemist Phedran applies his bruising intellect...
- Lumbering low-class Taldan brawler Corbett "the Crab" Cromwell scraps his way through combat with would-be highway bandits...
- Ysoki Ace Pilot Operative Rez Cleftear gets his paws on the yoke of a Starfinder Society Pegasus-class starship...
... then tries to keep sane during the two weeks' travel time in the Drift.
- Dwarven Technomancer Bozril "Boz" Marbleheart's mind races during the throes of combat sometimes...
- Human Warpriest of Pharasma Cavasin the Grey braces himself against the greatest killer of all - papercuts.

Yes, I am interested in the Playtest. I feel like that would be a great place to start my adventures in pathfinder, Not going to lie, Original Pathfinder seemed overwhelming in scope for some time now. I have played D&D for years and am familiar with the concepts and I think this way I can learn a new system (and setting) at pretty much the same rate as everyone else.

I would like to play as a cleric if there is room available

Scarab Sages

I'm interested in some PF2 practice.
But if you're starting in Sep, will this be enough time to finish, and post feedback?

Grand Lodge

I'm interested in running some PF playtest.

I'm just finishing up the last details on a Halfling cleric of Erastil. If your running two tables then that sounds like you have enough room.

I'm really looking forward to trying out the new rule set. The 3 action economy sounds really neat.

The playtest session is 1 year long! So we won't need to worry about that.

So far we have 7 players with interest so far. Hopefully we get one more than we can open up 2 tables with 4 players each! Once we hit the 8th player mark, I will start opening threads.

Are you still looking for a player? If so I'll be happy to oblige! Is there a particular role/class missing for the 2nd table? EDIT: I think I am leaning towards a monk for my concept.

Perfect! I'll sort the tables out in a day or two and make sure we get balanced classes across. Play what you want!

Any chance you could fit in one more here? No worries if not!

If you have room for one more, or decide to open up a third table, I’d love to jump in with a half-elf bard.

As for my play style, you know Garduk, although I expect this character will be a bit less surly and introverted.

Liberty's Edge

Last I checked there was still room. Sorry for the hold up announcing tables.. between the Site down time and my own free time, it just didn't jive. But if the site stays up for this weekend I should be able to get around to it.

Liberty's Edge

The division of tables are as follows, will have a thread up shortly.

Table 1

SodiumTelluride - Druid/Sorcerer
tusk the half-orc - bard
Eternal twilight - cleric
cybermephit - monk
Snorter

Check in here for table 1

Table 2

Isenvrill - sorcerer/bard
Zebeev - fighter/bard
Eguzki - cleric
hatersinheaven
SanityAWOL - cleric/paladin

Check in here for table 2

Scarab Sages

Darn, missed out on this one. Would have been fun!

Hmm. Tusk is a 1e character. Where did you get the name Tusk from?

1 Oct or mid Sep? 5 and 5 listed. Still accepting?

Actually, “Tusk the Half-Orc” is and has always been my default forum handle. Tusk is not the playtest half-elf bard I referred to in my post last month. I “got the name” from a GM PC (currently fighter 10/sorcerer 3) I have been running in my home Rise of the Runelords campaign - he joined the party in mid-2015 or so, and is called “Tusk” because he is a half-orc with only one tusk. I tried rebuilding him as a bloodrager for PFS, but I’ve only played that character once.

Why?

Ah! I thought he was referring to my chacter, Tusk Two-Blade, a half orc.

Heh - that makes sense. I suspect that there are a lot of half-orcs called Tusk wandering around Golarian.

Is there room for one more still?

I would be interested in playing as well

I apologize those who post here recently, recruitment has been closed for quite some time, however good news.

Some games are currently recruiting in the Cottonseed lodge!
