naked guy in the street here man!

Mortal...? Something Other Than Mortal|Willpower: 5/5

"Er..." Miles starts to call back into the house. "...there's a rather bewildered chap out here. And he's not wearing any clothes."

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Henry blinks and calls down to Miles, "Bring the chap in then! He can take some clothing from Sir Richard. I wonder if a naked man wandering the streets at this house is a coincidence..."

Henry turns back to Billy, "Before we go, let's check his papers shall we?"

Henry will start to look through Sir Richard's paperwork to see if there is anything written down that he was trying to hide.

Mortal...? Something Other Than Mortal|Willpower: 5/5

Miles winces before turning to the naked man on the street. "Hey, you! Get in here before the bobbies see your bare arse!"

Sensing that the group was going to be here a bit longer than anticipated, based on the change of events, Billy unceremoniously drops Sir Richard to the floor.

"This just keeps getting stranger and stranger..." he says to no one in particular.

male Human Code name: "Black out" (soon to be Lasombra 9th generation)

Morgrym runs inside and grabs a throw carpet and wraps it around his waist saying I dont recollect the last thing that happened to me and was rolled out here uncerimoniously on the street without a stitch. Thanks much for letting me in, any extra clothing by chance?

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Henry calls down to the newcomer, "Come on upstairs, I am sure the master of the house has something you can wear. Then we can have a little chat!"

male Human Code name: "Black out" (soon to be Lasombra 9th generation)

Morgrym will go upstairs and look for some clothing that might fit.

thank you for the kind invitation

As Morgrym steps inside the rest of you notice that he isn't breathing, just like you.

"Oh look, he's another poor, sorry son of b++!! like us." Billy says to his companions.

Turning his attention to the new-comer, he asks, "So when did the f*&^ers grab you?"

male Human Code name: "Black out" (soon to be Lasombra 9th generation)

As Morgrym gets dressed in some clothing and at worse slides on a pair of slippers if his feet are too small or big, he looks over his shoulder and says I have no recollection how long I have been out as I just woke up woozy and naked on the street, but despite this I feel... Fine? Morgrym examines himself:

"Indeed Billy, you are right. I bet this was no coincidence".

ST any luck on finding anything about us on Sir Richard's desk? If not I will start opening drawers and rummaging through the whole room.

sorry, it slipped my mind

You find a bunch of papers but they seem to be written in a simple cipher of some kind. It won't be hard to crack but could take some time.

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Henry frowns, "I knew this bastard was lying to us! It'll take some time to decipher."

Henry will gather all such papers with these cyphers and anything that seems related and stuff them in a sack or satchel.

"Miles, see if you can locate any valuables we can sell and have Billy's friends out side fence them for us. We will need to secure a place to keep Sir Richard here and I do not believe staying here by day will be safe for us. I am welcome to hear any thoughts you have chums.

Morgrym, we have a strong suspicion as to what has happened to you and highly recommend that you come with us. Unless of course you have someplace else to be?"

No worries I forget stuff all the time as ST/DM/Keeper. Any roll I need for that?

male Human Code name: "Black out" (soon to be Lasombra 9th generation)

Happy to oblige since you helped me, I do have a place for us to go

Your next stop decided, you grab what papers you can, clothes for you new friend, and the barely alive body of your host.

What route do you take to get there?

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Are Billy's friends still nearby?

I did re-drink all of the glasses of my own vitae. Think I should shove them in a bag as well as we go, just in case!

Henry Aketer wrote:

No but Billy could probably track them down if needed.

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Henry considers their options. "Morgrym, is there a way to get there, wherever there is of course, by avoiding the main parts of the city, we don;t want anyone asking about our friend here..."

male Human Code name: "Black out" (soon to be Lasombra 9th generation)

all we need is a cart and a cloak

ever heard of the steaming clam tavern? We'll take the back streets as best we can and go in through the alley entrance.

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Does Sir Richard have a cart or a wagon ST? Horses to pull it would be good... Though does anyone have Animal Ken?

Henry Aketer wrote:

Cart yes but no animal.

male Human Code name: "Black out" (soon to be Lasombra 9th generation)

toss him in the cart and throw a tarp over and with some stuff on top of the cart from his kitchen that a tavern could use and we should be fine

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Does this cart require an animal ST? If not I guess two of us could pull it...

Henry Aketer wrote:

You can easily move it without an animal.

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Henry shrugs as they begin to load the cart.

"It has been some time since I had to move a cart myself but I say let's go get to where we need to be as quickly as we can. These ciphers will not sort themselves out. Say Morgrym have you stout rope to tie up this chap when we arrive at our destination? We went through the bother to gather him so we don;t want him just walking out by day while we sleep..."

Mortal...? Something Other Than Mortal|Willpower: 5/5

Miles doesn't say a word; he simply nervously loads the cart up while trying his damnedest to stay calm.

male Human Code name: "Black out" (soon to be Lasombra 9th generation)

Might as well check here for a heavy rope or some chains before we go

You find some decent rope, it doesn't take long to get everything set up and ready to go.

Someone give me a Int+Steetwise to make sure you can negotiate through the streets without drawing attention.

Intelligence + Streetwise: 2d10 + 2d10 ⇒ (1, 2) + (5, 2) = 10

Ughh...the dice roller is out to get me...

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Let's try to make it a collective effort...

Intelligence + Streetwise 3d10 ⇒ (2, 6, 7) = 15+1d10 ⇒ 3

Mortal...? Something Other Than Mortal|Willpower: 5/5

Intelligence & Streetwise?: 4d10 ⇒ (5, 9, 9, 4) = 27 Alrighty...

male Human Code name: "Black out" (soon to be Lasombra 9th generation)

int: 3d10 ⇒ (6, 8, 5) = 19

While Billy starts the group down a route that would have ended badly, the rest of the group quickly redirects him down the right path. It takes about 45 minutes to carefully work your way across town before you arrive at Morgrym's establishment.

You have about 3 hours remaining before sunrise.

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

"My friends can you tie him up tight? We do not want him escaping or calling out for help while we sleep. Morgrym, have you a place where we can hide from the sun by day? You will need to sit with us there as well if my suspicions about your black out are correct.

In the meantime, I will try to decipher these notes..."

What should I roll ST?

we can use the barrel cellar, not the best but it will do if we lock the door. I will have my man pull up the drink he needs and not disturb us and bring some cots while you blokes tie up that blighter. and off Morgrym goes helping bring up the drink and wrestle up four or five cots.

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Henry nods to Morgrym and he sits on the floor spreading out all of the paperwork in an attempt to get a better sense of how to decipher the cipher Sir Richard was utilizing.

document:

Mr Blue,

I trust this letter finds you well. Our research at the Gamma House is making progress. Our latest tests show that even the smallest traces of blood from the test subjects will have lasting mental impacts, a larger amount of blood has physical effects on all it is fed to. I am sure a visit to the Gamma House could be organized. How fares your work with the dragons.

Regards,

Mr Red.

Henry sighs and reads the letter out loud. "I'll need more time with these tomorrow. Agreed Morgrym, that seems like a solid plan. Miles, William, any objections?"

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

BUMP

Mortal...? Something Other Than Mortal|Willpower: 5/5

"None from me."

"Do what you gotta do." Billy says.

Sorry guys, as holiday stuff was wrapping up my computer decided to stop working.

You secure yourselves and your "guest" for the day and slumber without incident. You all wake roughly at sundown.

Billy sees a mark made by his friends beside the main door into the establishment.

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Henry wakes up and continues the deciphering of the scrolls...

Intelligence + Academics 3d10 + 2d10 ⇒ (2, 8, 9) + (1, 6) = 26.

well what is this new condition I find myself in and what is our plan for moving forward?Morgrym says with a jaunty smile.

Mortal | Willpower 7/7 | Blood Pool 10/? | Status Injured -1 Dice Pools

Henry looks up from the notes at Morgrym's cheerful demeanor, "I find myself impressed with your hardiness Morgrym. We were not so possessed of good cheer when we woke up, then again we woke up to a much more horrific scene to be sure.

Our plan tonight is the same as it has been for the past few nights. Discover who did, whatever it is they did to us and either get them to reverse the process or seek vengeance upon them for doing so.

As to our conditions, your guess is as good as ours. The sun fills us with excruciating pain. Food is ash and drink bile to our mouths it seems only the taste of blood satisfies our cravings. By night we wake by day we sleep. What manner of... thing that is I do not know. Perhaps you have some insight?"

Henry turns to Billy assuming he is still in the room , "Would you be so good as to wake Sir Richard, he has been a naughty boy and he has some explaining to do..."

"I can try." Billy says moving over to Sir Richard and begins relatively lightly smacking the man in the face.

"Time to wake up, old man..."

While saying I served in her majesties service in the war of 1812 and have seen worse then waking naked in the street. We still live and may do more yet, so it is a good day. Stiff upper lip and all.
