Old man!, - Varanog looks a bit dissapointed, - might be he is a wizard of some sort? Or just a beggar looking for a warm underground tunnel to rest his bones?
He looked down and asked the man:

Common:
"Hey, scaleless, what did you do in Sewer Kingdom?"

“You lot! Excellent! Simply excellent! You’re Sewer Dragons, aren’t you? Oh, my apologies, I mean, you are most capable defenders of the exalted Sewer Dragon tribe of Absalom—rulers of the sewers upon which I have miserably intruded.”

“I’m a member of the Pathfinder Society, you see. A Venture-Captain, in fact, one who helped forge our alliance! I’d been following a group of our suspected enemies above ground, and they descended into the sewers nearby. In a section of nearby tunnels, I found our enemies hard at work, constructing some sort of magical portal in a ruined sewer line. In my folly, I alerted those I was following and was waylaid. I managed to drive them off, before your friend —the one with the headwear fascination— found me and dragged me here. That doesn’t matter though. All in the past, I’d say.”

“I need to warn the Society! But, I don’t think there’s enough time before this portal opens. You fine soldiers of the Sewer Dragons should do… only you can stop it!”

Varanog the Majestic hp 26/26; AC 16, Touch 15, FF 12, CMD 12/9; Fort +2, Ref +4, Will +5; Init +3; Perception: +3 (darkvision 60ft) Spells: 1st: 7/7, 2nd: 2/4; Trap Runes: 6/6; Conditions: magic armor, mirror image (5)

Varanog turned away from the prisoner to his friends: Old man talks a lot, but he is high ranking boss in the Society, that helps us to prosper. Chieftain Yiddlepode will be very angry if we do not help him. He said that enemy of his tribe has constructed somethin in ruined sewer line. Magical portal or something. This might bring trouble to our tribe so we need to go there and find out what it is.

After speaking so, he step off the disk and sent it down there. Before commanding to bring the prisoner up, he turned to Hats.

"Hats the Otyugh, Sewer Dragons are very grateful for your help! Won't you mind, if we taking the prisoner. He will bring tiara for Lady Lace and something like his hat," he pointed Engashez cylinder, "for you, after he will return. He is an old ally of chief Yiddlepode and we should help him."

Hats listens to Varanog then turns to the old man.

"More hats! Bring me more hats!"

He then turns to Engashez.

"Can I try your hat on now?"

Skyrahk was listening them from the distance
Yes-s, we will help you.. scaleles-s. But! If you are are so important big human passfinder... Why are you alone? It's dangerous-s to go alone, while being such a tasty one.

The old man addresses Skyrahk.

"You are wise. I was foolish to try and do it on my own and was lucky to get away."

Engashez whispers to his tribe mates.
- We desperately need to bring Hatsss more hatsss.

He then turned to the ottygh.
- Masster Hats, my good old hat is too old for your magnificent might. Let us take our leave now with the prisoner, to bring you more, much better hats.

Grand Lodge

- Another Pathfinder! Magnificent!
Athrax jumps excitedly, and shows the old man his wayfinder.

- I am an agent of the Society too!

"Oh, a wayfinder, very nice! It does look a bit broken vintage!"

- Hey, bigfoot. We heard about you. You are big boss in the ... your kingdom. Maybe you weren't ... wis-sse when you went alone to s-sewers, but I ss-sugest you are wis-sse enough ... to point out where we should look for your tricky-magic-enemies and how many bigfoots we can see there

Pethjun can't talk clearly on common, so she made a serious face.

"I'm not entirely sure what your asking, but I guess it translates as 'Who were you trailing in the sewers?'. In that case the answer is"

Venture Captain Drandle pauzes for a moment

“An organization opposed to the Pathfinder Society, known as the Onyx Alliance. They’re from very far away, and they have a grudge against the Society because we’ve stopped some of their previous schemes. Most importantly, they’re a ruthless band of villains, and if they’re building a beachhead in the sewers, they’ll be sure to clear out any potential threats—your tribe included!”

Common:

- Sh-How.. Many of them?

Said Pethjun, looking at Dreng's grayed hair.

After receiving the response from the old man, she turned to Hats:

- Agent Hats-s can you show us where did you find this bigfoot?

When speaking this, Bodyguard shoved Engashez slightly on the shoulder with her tail.

"I'm not entirely sure what your asking, but I guess it translates as 'what do you need us to do?'. In that case the answer is"

Venture Captain Drandle pauzes for a moment

“I believe the best course of action would be to strike at the forces guarding the portal; I’ve already given them a good licking myself, so they shouldn’t be too difficult to deal with. After that, reinforcements from the surface are supposed to come, so you’ll want to prepare. I hear kobolds are quite determined and skilled when it comes to setting traps! Once you’ve dispatched the reinforcements, the portal should activate. You’ll need to go through to the other side, and figure out how to disable it!”

And right after receiving response from the Otyugh, she turned to Venture-Captain:

Common:
- What does-s "Portal" means and how we can dis-sh-able it?

K(Arcane): 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (9) + 0 = 9

"I' m not entirely sure what your asking, but I guess it translates as 'What do you know about this portal?'. In that case the answer is"

Venture Captain Drandle pauzes for a moment

“All I know is that it connects to a larger base of operations for the Onyx Alliance. From the few minutes I had to inspect the device, it’s clear to me that the portal can only be activated from the other side, wherever the other side may be. If the Onyx Alliance successfully activates the portal, someone will need to go through and find a way to close it. From what I overheard, it is set to activate shortly after additional reinforcements arrive from the surface.”

- I think I can take care about this portal, draconic blood in me speak for itself. As well, the cunning traps is something I like, - Varanog commands a disk to bring the prisoner out of pit, - you can depart to warn your friends and bring more hats for your welcoming host. Kobold nodded to Otyugh.

As I understand everyone speaks Common, so no point of "spoiler-ing" that

Anyway Fazgyn followed the group and after leaving Hats place, went forward overtooking others.

“I’m afraid that my scuffle with the portal’s sentries wounded me far beyond what I expected. The ruffians used some sort of poison that’s sapped the strength from me. That is why your friend up there was able to capture me so easily. I’d be of little use in a fight, and besides, I should be off to warn the Society of what’s happening down here!”

Hats still eyes Engashez' hat.

"Can I have it please! I do anything for it!"

Pethjun got bored, so she ask, with smile:
- Hey, Engashez, why you don't give your hat to an agent Hats? We can always find another one, or not?

Grand Lodge

- Venture-captain Drangke Drengsss! Iss a great honor to meet you. Do not worru we will explore the portal, cooperate in slaughtering your enemies and report to you all the gory details afterwards! Eh... do you need any help with your wounds? I could test... eh give you some concoctions to help with your wounds.
Athrax is very happy and yapping.

Skyrahk looked a bit bored.
The situation is very very clear and shiny. We help the Passfinders and you will be rewarded by the love of gods. I see that.
Skyrahk sniffed an air around her
Yes-s, and smell it too.
You better listen to my advices, i can s-see future. Our future. More gold, hats-s and glory. You want that right? So, let-s move on.

With the rest of his group pushing him to give his hat as tribute to the Otyugh Engashez reluctantly takes off his hat.

At that moment the suit he was wearing changes to standard Kobold attire and his suitcase changes into a burlap sack.

"Yess, it iss a magical hat of disguisse!"

Hats is overjoyed with his new hat! He carefully puts the lady lace attire on a hatstand and places the Hat of Disguise on his tentacle where it changes into a Helmet.

"Hats is happy with his new friend Sir Ironbeard! We will lead you to the part of the sewers where we found the weird old man!"

- Whoops-s... Said Pethjun with a bit of sarcasm... - Let's move on!

Five-foot-wide sidewalks run alongside a five-foot wide sluice of murky sewer water. The path reaches a T-junction, with paths leading east, north, and west. The eastern and western tunnels go on for an indeterminate length, while the northern tunnel abruptly ends in a drop. The sound of rushing water intensifies to the north.

"Here's where I caught the old man. He came from that direction"
Hats says while pointing North.

- Fazgyn, can you read some tracks for us-s? Pethjun readied her shield, facing North, trying to spot an ambush.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Grand Lodge

- I will check for traps!

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

You search for traps, but the only thing you can find are tracks of one humanoid creature going North. The same tracks also go South, but it seems the creature was injured by then. These tracks to the South suddenly stop, when they meet up with tracks of a large 3 legged creature. Bloodstains on the wall indicate some kind of struggle.

Grand Lodge

Athrax looks at Hats. Does Hats have three legs and is a big creature?

Athrax the Mad Bomber wrote:

Hats is indeed large and has 3 legs

Grand Lodge

- Master Hats, are there any other ottyghs in your realm? Besides you? Because there are tracks of another one right there.
Athrax points at the tunnel leading south.

"No others here! This is where I captured the old man!"

-Leave it for real trapper. This part of sewer is a scale more dangerous than others. So remember to look before stepping forward. Hhhhhrr...lets investigate.

Fazgyn appeared from nowhere as if he has been here all the time they were blindly looking around.

perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

3 steps. Blood probably from the cuts? Perhaps we can find something underwater here? Well looking for some clues and for blood trail then. Could it be there was some sort of trap worked as a sours of the troubles?

survival: 1d20 ⇒ 3

Fazgyn interpreds the tracks:

Drengle Drang walked North here, somehow got injured (probably in several different fights) and fled back. He was attacked by Hats, who grabbed him with one of his tentacles and swung him against the walls until he was unconscious.

Varanog the Majestic hp 26/26; AC 16, Touch 15, FF 12, CMD 12/9; Fort +2, Ref +4, Will +5; Init +3; Perception: +3 (darkvision 60ft) Spells: 1st: 7/7, 2nd: 2/4; Trap Runes: 6/6; Conditions: magic armor, mirror image (5)

- Should we move? asked Faranog, who understood that he is not as good in finding traps, I cannot wait to make couple traps and capture some warmblooded humans for myself

"Tricorn Willy agrees! Let's move on!"

Hats moves forward.

The sewer path ends in a section of scorched stonework. The sewer here has collapsed into a vast cavern, and the sewer water tumbles in a filthy waterfall to a makeshift lake twenty feet below. A wooden ladder on western end of the collapsed tunnel leads down to the cavern floor.

Grand Lodge

- Pethjun, this is the moment when you can bravely go forward into the unknown. And we will bravely follow and avenge you!

Grand Lodge

-We march for Yiddlepode, and we shall know no fear! Said Pethjun, going first into the cavern, with her shield up and eyes looking for a traps

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Pethjun marches forward and climbs down the ladder.

From there she can see the sewer line cast down a sludge-like torrent of water and other matter into a growing lake of grime.

Hats moves his eyed tentacle down and inspects the ladder.

"Doesn't seem solid enough to hold all of us. Maybe we should just jump down into the pool!"

Hats squeezes though the small opening and dives into the lake.

Fazgyn and Athrax also descend the ladder and find themselves in the large cave.

Grand Lodge

Athrax goes right after the Pethjun, ready to respond to any danger.
