Who would be up for the Dragons Demand adventure? I've already got one players, so I am looking for 3-5 more players for about six to eight months of Play by post. We're running Pathfinder Society on this one, so you can level up a character you love for your favorite in person game. Who's in?

This sounds awesome to me. Seems like a good place to start out a fresh PFS character. As you can see by the posts so far, I'm sure you'll get more interest than you can handle. Are you going to have a selection process or go with first come first served? By my count I'm 6th on the list :)

I'm very keen. What are the requirements? PFS? More than willing to adapt and build a character to suit.

Right now it's PFS legal, 1st level characters. Who's still interested?

I could certainly give it a shot. Sanniya is a paladin, heading for a few levels of oracle. I'm still floating a few ideas for background, though.

Fair warning: I have GM'ed the module a year ago, but have not played it.

As for characters my preference would be to play this with a elf or half-elf wielding a twobladed sword. Probably a ranger, but can also be a fighter. I might even put in a lvl of slayer to get a sneak attack die to use with twoweapon feint.

Character motivation: He is trying to be the best he can be with a two-bladed sword, and loathes that others who choose easier weapons still best him at combat.

MoFiddy checking in again. I have a 1st level Sylph Witch that I have not played before. (I have a Sylph boon from GMing at a convention. I can scan it an email it to you if you would like to see it.)

I don't have Hero Labs, but I'll create an alias with my character's stats and background later today.

While this would be really cool, I just got into a mission with the character I was going to use for this (just my luck, eh?).

I am interested in Dragon's Demand. And having a PFS chronicle in the end is just even better.

In order to help you decide, I suggest you lurk through player aliases to make yourself an idea of whom you would prefer to play with and might not easily disappear mid game. Painlord's Guide to PbP GMing: Make Your World a Better Place has a lot of good tips on how to make a successful recruitment process.

As this will involve level 1 characters it seems a great opportunity to build up a party from scratch, coordinating and discussing together about the different character possibilities, including the GM, rather than trying to assemble already existent ones :)

I think I'll withdraw my bid, I'd rather play it in campaign mode so I can enjoy the story then play it chopped up into module bits for Pfs play. Especially since I could get the same chronicles and a better story in campaign mode.

If I understood correctly the first 6 have been asked to submit a character within 24 hours after GM posted.

It is unclear to me whether this will be played in campaign mode or only the sanctioned bits. If the latter: how will you fill in the blanks? Starting with a lvl 1 character you will never reach the required level of the last part if you only run the sanctioned bits.

All he said is PFS legal. I might be wrong, but you can provide the chronicle as when you play with a pregen, and only assign it to your PFS character once you reach the proper level to have it. At least APs work that way.

There are two ways you can play this module (and most AP's):

1) Sanctioned parts only: play with PFS character and receive credit for the parts you complete when you complete them. Starting with a lvl 1 character there will be an issue immediately after the first sanctioned part, since we will be lvl 2 and sanctioned part 2 is for lvl 3-5
2) Campaign mode: play the entire module and use whatever rules you want and get credit as if you played the sanctioned parts with a pregen

Right now I think the GM wants to do campaign mode with PFS character rules regarding available resources, but that is not spelled out and I assume that Codanous thinks he means sanctioned parts only. Therefore it would be good if the GM clarifies.

With mods, you get a custom cert when you're done and you apply just like normal-the character who played or a character/pregen when you get to that level. Since Dragon Demand is level 1, its whatever you bring to the table.

I think a wizard and witch in the party will be interesting. I can see the characters complementing each other quite well mechanically.

I am very interested. I forgot that Dragons demand started at level 1. Is it like normal modules that start as 1-2's? I have a couple level 1's depending on whats needed.

I'm definitely still in, for sure. As an FYI, I'm currently planning to head into an oradin battle-healer build by level three +.

I'd love to play with new PbPers, as well. It's always a good time showing them the ropes.
