Hello MG

Hey Cuan, you still in this? Since I'm making a Redemmer Paladin and you are playing a goblin who came into the party during the attack on the goblin fort, why not mesh our stories together? You petitioned to get in and I had the others seriously consider it since you looked liked you honestly wanted to do good. Then we bro down through the rest of the AP

I'm still here, working on Horp

While teaming up with a Redeemer Paladin would be fun I'm not aiming for my character to be Good but Chaotic Neutral. He'll help people but that's purely out of self interest as it allows him a more comfortable life. He also isn't quite sane, like his kin, and his sense of humor and behaviour isn't exactly what most would consider acceptable.

He'd also join during the attack on Sandpoint as that is where he found the first tome he consumed. He'd have bargained for his life in return for guidance towards his tribe's village so they could avoid the dangers of the swamp.

Silver Crusade

Hi Megan, any idea on when you two plan on kicking this off?

Welcome Megan.

A few questions to help me settle on a concept:

1) Will you allow the use of the Downtime Rules if we wish to have more tangible roots to Sandpoint? Not so much as a major mechanic, but as a source of RP material?

2) If I were to play an Arcane Duelist bard, could their bardic performances be (flavor wise) be magic auras instead of actual performances? Mechanically still the same, just different fluff?

3) Any stance on Leadership? Again: the intent is not to have an extra PC tag along so much as have more RP fodder.

None of these are major deal breakers for me, I'm just curious as to my options before getting serious on a character build.

Firstly I want to apologize for taking so long to get back to you. I didn't get back home from being out of town until after Midnight last night and its been a busy day at work today so this is my first chance to post.

1)Yes I will be giving you downtime. I haven't actually read ultimate campaign though I do own a copy. I am a firm believer of my players especially in this AP being firmly rooted and caring about Sandpoint. To the point where I might bring over other NPC's for you guys to interact with from other AP's that start in Sandpoint.

2)Yes I have no problem changing the fluff of an ability as long as it doesn't change the mechanics or power of the ability.

3) Not a huge fan of the Leadership feat it self but being that this story is so rooted in Sandpoint if you wanted to have a cohort or 2 I wouldn't be against it.

Sounds excellent Redshirt. Love the username btw.

Average it is

Here she is, Serenity, the RMA

Looks very good. I haven't seen an unchained Rogue run before(don't have unchained myself) so if selected it will be interesting to see how they differ from the rogue. I personally didn't find Rogue that broken in the first place but I'm interested in seeing the differences.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll get to work on something and have it up ASAP.

They get a few focused things. And skill unlocks. Just so they dont have to focus on certain feats. But they seem fun and much more versatile... like they should be =^^=

Glad you like the concept

I think I'm going to use my stat rolls above to make a witch.

[dice=Hit Points] 11d6 + 5 = 49

I think a beast-bonded witch with a raven familiar and the shadow patron.

Sounds interesting looking forward to seeing the completed concept.

Erasmes and Sajjad just have equipment left to polish off. High level wizards are a lot of work!

Yes they are and I thank you for putting in that hard work.

I already have the party formed in my head. I'm PMing people about some potential issues tonight and depending on responses and then Megan's input(also PM based once I get players messages done) I/we might be able to get things rolling tomorrow or Wednesday. I will keep everyone updated on how things progress tonight.

Hey Redshirt can you PM me...for some reason it won't let me PM you and I wanted to get your opinion on something your kind of the linchpin of.

This is a profile in progress, and Thron's submission. I need to alter the fluff somewhat and get some of the rest of the crunch done, but it should give you a basic idea of how I intend to play the character.

Fluff wise, I will be changing it to a more detailed version of the following:

She was born and raised in Sandpoint, and would have taken part in every level of the adventure to the point this campaign begins. I would prefer to work with some of the other players (if accepted) to detail some of this out. She is actively trying to build and expand upon the following of Shelyn based in the Sandpoint Cathedral. I know this seems very basic and generic, but I promise it will be far more fleshed out if accepted.

However, it looks like my chances are slim based on your message I quoted above. I will continue to work on it though just in case.

And in case it is still a worry, Leadership is going to be almost entirely a background thing for RP purposes only. Example, if she owned a tavern, the followers would be the staff, her cohort would be a brother/sister or something of that nature that remains in town and does not go out on adventures with the group (unless we desperately need it or they want them to).

Hey Valeria check your PM's...

Check again sorry just sent it.

sorry for my storm of posts today, I was trying to catch up from the weekend. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up I'm off to class right now so won't be posting again until tomorrow(unless I can squeeze something in tonight). Those of you who I PM'ed please get back to me and keep responses in PM's only for now. I will check my inbox from time to time but any detailed responses will have to wait until tomorrow.

Okay, sheet is essentially done save for some background tweaking to be done later. If anyone spots a crunch error please let me know. I included prices spent on the expensive gear choices I made, as well as listed what rooms I purchased to make up her home in Sandpoint (which, if at all possible, I'd kinda like to be the L shaped building between 30 and 31 on the Sandpoint map. Fits thematically with her background of having been a longtime employee/friend of Ameiko).

Also, despite asking earlier I decided against Leadership. Didn't end up meshing with her personality. Chose Dodge instead.

Hit Point Rolls:
1d8 ⇒ 3 Average: 5
1d8 ⇒ 8
1d8 ⇒ 1 Average: 5
1d8 ⇒ 4 Average: 5
1d8 ⇒ 2 Average: 5
1d8 ⇒ 4 Average: 5
1d8 ⇒ 8
1d8 ⇒ 5
1d8 ⇒ 4 Average: 5
1d8 ⇒ 5
1d8 ⇒ 4 Average: 5

Total: 61 + 22 Con + 11 Favored = 94

Thanks GM for heads up. Will have a look now

Almost forgot about these.

HP:
11d8 ⇒ (4, 3, 3, 4, 3, 2, 2, 5, 4, 6, 2) = 38

So that's 9 below average rolls, a 5 and a 6. Turns it all into 46+22 Con means 68 HP. Not sure about fcb yet.
