Okay so far we have

3 votes Kohnnor / 2 Votes Athalos / 2 Votes Viluf

(Viluf Dozeph (Autocorrected to Doze), and Athalos preference Kohnnor but as he is not here votes return to their second choice)

As this Fireteam is currently more that 50% Wolf, I think a Wolf should lead it.

In character I would be firmly behind Viluf, after all history would suggest nothing else (well only under rare circumstances). Out of character it is hard. The command and higher Fel are good with Athalos and plus 10 BS and WS is always good, but the apothecary oaths are generally more defensive and we lose the Space wolf squad modes. Viluf is gonna struggle on cohesion and command, but the cohesion could be balanced out by the oath of the Astartes (not very SW the codex etc but easily reskinned/could be argued) Oath of the Weapon is less useful generally, but it has better squad modes. But we gain the SW squad modes!

To be honest for this heart wins over head for me. A SW watch captain and a SW lost, requires a SW led rescue/revenge.

Sounds good! Viluf is confirmed as the squad leader.

Would people prefer Oath of the Astartes or Oath of the Weapon? My vote is Oath of the Astartes for the extra Cohesion.

Since Radavel is set to begin, we should make the final call on how we'll spend the remaining Requisition for the mission. If we run short on time, could you please make the final decision, Viluf?

I'll spend 17 of our 50 Req for Bulkhead Shears (33 remaining). Flavor-wise, the Shears are usually a Techmarine's tool; I'd like to give them to Braggi.

I already have a heavy flamer, taking those as well won't be too bulky?

I like special grenades like photon flash or stun that we can use to disable little guys without affecting ourselves, but since we're likely going against Eldar they won't help (unless we go full on nova grenades). Blind grenades wold be good if there's some kind of heavily defended chokepoint.

It looks like the weight on the Bulkhead Shears is only 10 kg. They're relatively light so we should be able to carry them even on a teammate equipped with a heavy weapon.

I can hardly comment, being that i spent all my requisition, but with the amount of wolves and therefore perception rerolls (and the fact Braggi has one) i would vote suspensor.
I can free up 7.5 req if we want to swap out some of the frag/kraks for a demolition charge or a cluster mine.

It might be even more efficient to upgrade some of out Bolters to Storm Bolters before picking up special ammo; their double-hits do the same damage as bolters w/ Metal Storm. Storm Bolters also do more damage to all but the most heavily armored single targets. This is especially true since Kraken rounds' cost was changed from 5 to 15 req in the Errata.

I could chip in 25 Req if I drop my Elucidator (universal translator) for something else for us.

I just freed up 20 Req to add to the pile, ditched a pair of Cluster mines and a Demo charge. I think upgrading to Stormbolters is a good idea.

Haha,yeah, honestly I wish I had decided go with Signature Wargear (Master) for a souped up Storm Bolter like Dozeph did.

I'll pick one a Storm Bolter for myself
with our Req unless doing so would mean that it would deny one to Braggi ot Einar. They're way better shots than I am and should get priority.

You're right, I have a basic bolter but didn't put it down on the sheet. I looked into it and rules-wise it looks like we can't trade in our bolters for Req.

I'll downgrade my power sword w/ dipole to an Exceptional chainsword w/ dipole for whatever the cost difference is between them (no book access atm)

Hmm. Can those three Bolters be traded in for their Req? That would bring us to 43 Unspent. I can lose my Shotgun and my Magnoculars to bring us up to 51 unspent. If we can wrangle another 9 unspent we can have Stormbolters for everyone bar me, which is okay.

That's fine, but for example i left my bolter off, cos toting a plasma gun and a bolter and a pistol and a sword, seemed a little over the top. I know the argument of genetically enhanced, powered armour super warriors, but it just seems a little too much weaponry. Although f you want i can drop my metal storm rounds entirely for another 7.5 req.

I noticed you have mag boots requsitioned, Viluf. Was that for Scout gear from before? Astartes armor comes with mag boots built in, so we don't have to requisition them.

So here's one way we could finish our purchases:

28 Req
+25 Req: Athalos drops Elucidator
+11 Req: Viluf drops shotgun, magnoculars, mag boots
-60 Req: Storm Bolters for Braggi, Einar and Athalos
-4 Req: Fire selectors for Braggi and Einar

Einar would keep his metal storm rounds and I'd keep my power sword.

Ulf, will we be aiding local forces against the xenos attack on Solace itself or will the team be operating entirely off the grid?
If we are going to work with local forces then we should save some req in the event we require their more direct assistance.
