Apologies for the triple post. I wanted to seperate the conversation where I 'botted Mina, from the other thing, and forgot about the Perception check until afterwords, and by that point it just seemed like I was making new posts for new scenes, so... I dunno if I did the right thing or not. Sorry. EDIT: Oh, yeah! Also, it was a pretty solid way of "saving" my progress so far, when I was only on an iPad (unlike now).

Also, clarifying a few things:

1) Staveon would not compromise on allowing them to take his sword or his brooch. He doesn't want them to take his armor, but he's willing to negotiate the point if they're really persuasive and nice. He's not looking for enemies, but he's not going to leave himself unarmed.

2) Yes, he was naked when he ran over to take care of his animals. Yes, I forgot out of character. Yes that was my way of "paying" for it, in-character. Sigh.

3) I had both permission and encouragement from Mina to make the back-and-forth conversation. It was something we'd come up with already.

4) I, uh... I don't remember what I was going to say, now. But, man, does Staveon need some sort of charisma-boosting item. He uses it all the time, and he doesn't have a bonus to anything other than intimidate. Alas. :)

EDIT 3:

5) I just remembered! The intimidate wasn't to force them or coerce them into anything, but for the purposes of communication. Staveon's totally okay if they think that he's a scary guy, but mostly he wants them to understand: that's bad to take this stuff.

EDIT 4: Oh, and it's great to have almost everyone back together! Now we're only missing Pavo!

Oh, and one other thing about the above: though I know (or at least strongly believe) that it'd be totally fine for Staveon's weapon to go with the people, Staveon doesn't know that it would be fine. Hence his strong rejection of the idea of being fully disarmed in a strange place.

That would be role-playing, which I believe is encouraged. ^_^

You should generally always go with what your character would do. Unless your character wants to eat babies. Then you might want to rethink the character.

That's... good advice.

EDIT: I Still felt it a good thing to clarify so that the GM was aware that while my character behaved in one direction (annoyed), it was not a reflection of the player's feelings toward self-same GM. RP can get funny that way, as I've experienced. :D

It's weird how often I want to cast a spell to solve these problems. Especially weird since I've always been a warrior, and never a spellcaster.

Sorry. A lot of that is me. (And no one is surprised. :D) Staveon knows, from combat, that picked bodies are death. He knows from farming that foreign animals are oft diseased in ways locals aren't innured to. He's now combined the two elements enough to freak the heck out.

Yeah, aren't painkillers fun? I got a prescription for morphine right now, I just don't like taking it unless I am in a lot of pain. I just had surgery 2 weeks ago on my neck...had a disc removed. Went home after 6 days in hospital..even got the staples out now too. Thankfully I am stubborn and irish enough to ignore pain to a certain degree anyways.

Never been on morphine, just a little Tylenol-3, codeine. This may be a weird question, but did they let you keep it?

Ugh. T3+C makes me ... weird. I've never taken after I woke, panicked at the time and called work, only to be informed that I had already called into work. They... said they knew I wasn't coming in today, though they couldn't tell me what I said.
