A lot of the other Library of the Lion seem to be the lower tier, so I hope to give players from the 4-5 tier a chance.

Few societies have so vaunted a tradition of leading crusades as Taldor, yet the constant revisions to its history by scheming factions leaves the truth obscured by countless acts of political modifications. Even the lauded Kitharodian Academy’s texts are riddled with these changes, so when a secretive ally approaches the Pathfinder Society with information about a hidden archive that contains the unaltered histories, the Pathfinders plan a daring infiltration to recover the secrets of Taldor’s past victories so that Mendev might benefit from the discovery.

Content in "Library of the Lion" also contributes directly to the ongoing storylines of the Cheliax, Grand Lodge, and Taldor factions.

I'd like to offer my services. I'm not quite as powerful as the adventurers you've expressed need for, and I'm a part of the Silver Crusade myself, but if these aren't deal-breakers, I'm up to the challenge!

Curaigh, I am not sure where I post my interest in this but I would love to play with my lvl4 Lion Shaman Aasimar Druid. She is not necessarily a healer but she can wield the wand if necessary.

If you want I can bring a lvl 5 fighter to the table (Grand Lodge) There might be a slow posting for me due to travelling overseas (and occasional posting slowness due to a small vacation starting on 09/04).

if those aren't deal breakers, I am up for it.

Oh and she is in Taldor, just in case you didn't notice the Faction insignia next to her name ;-)

Hello, I'm just looking into getting into Pathfinder Society, this is open for level 1 newbies yes? I don't think I entirely understand the tiers system just yet.

Welcome Rainbow, yes it is.

1-5 are the allowable character levels for a scenario. There are two tiers in most scenarios (sometimes three). This means the authors have included two copies of every encounter. In this case a 1-2 CR and a 4-5 CR version of X [say thugs in the alley]. When everyone gets to the table we come up with an average party level (APL). If its 1 or 2 we play the lower tier. If its 4 or 5 we play the upper tier. Each character gets rewards (gold & treasure) based on the tier played. It gets a little more complicated after that, but only on my end.

Are you also new to Pathfinder or to Play by Post?

Just Society rules, been playing Pathfinder for about a year now and done playbypost things since gradeschool, canon Golarion/Pathfinder Society things are new though. Still working on figuring out what bits of the SRD are in what books.

Hello > I have a character but she is Tier 1, so I don't want to take a spot for a Tier 4-5 player if they want to join. That said, I am interested if you aren't able to fill all the slots. I am an old timer to D&D and have been running and playing pbp games since the late 90's. However, I am least familiar with Golarion and Pathfinder...but eager to learn.
What is your posting rate and how long do you foresee this game running? Thanks!

Daily posts are the norm and that should get us through in 5 or 6 weeks. It might be faster, but I've never run this one before.

So far we are hovering in between tiers with one other firsty, so you are welcome to play what you want to it could go either way.

I am very excited to start this! I can commit to a post a day, maybe more depending on the day!

I think I might be a little late to make it into the top six, but I'm interested with either a 5th-level detective or a level 1-2 (depends on credit earned before the game starts) character of another persuasion.

Ths would be my first PFS play-by-post, though I have plenty of experience with the medium.

I would like to get a confirmation from a couple people, this may not be the final makeup.

If allowed per gameday event, I will start the discussion thread late next week. I will start it with a sample of what I would like to see in your avatar's name block. I will also ask for a handful of dice rolls as I like players to make their own rolls, but with PbP speed it is better to have some waiting (especially the passive things).

What is the best way to bring addition resources to "the table" in a playbypost format?

I will do my damnedest to post every day, but will also have contingency plans in case I get swamped at work/home and am unable to post. This is hedgeknight and I'm posting as my character submission.
