The coastal city of Magnimar is no stranger to crime, yet recently, a series of murders has sent a chill through the early morning streets. Someone—or something—is stalking and killing worshipers of Sarenrae, the goddess of the sun. The city guard is prepared to ambush the murderer, but they need help—help of the kind that adventurers are so good at providing. What is the sinister truth behind these violent acts?

Hopefully some of you may have read of the PFS PbP Online Gameday and are eager to play. It will be the first On-line Play by Post convention unless I am mistaken and will enjoy the same support as other conventions in terms of chronicle support etc.

Unlike the normal PbP recruitment all that is needed here is to log on to Warhorn and register to play.

I'm one of the many GMs running games for this event and am offering the 2012 Pathfinder Free RPG Day Module 'Dawn of the Scarlet Sun' - Levels 4 to 6. I've one player registered and would be happy to see more. If you don't have a character that fits that level? No problems - There are a number of level 5 Iconic Characters to choose from which I am happy send out your way pre-game. You can either use the chronicle to start a level 1 character or prepare to apply it to one of your existing characters when they become level 4.

If you aren't interested in this particular module? Again, not a problem, at least take a look at some of the other virtual tables to be run and if you see something you like? Sign up for Warhorn and register to play.

A lean and pale elf with a glint in his eye comes forward. He wears a strange assortment of fresh and healing burns and one of his eyes is clouded with a green layer of mucus.
"I am Brother Slyph Silvar, a skilled alchemist, and though it has been many months since I have found the time to get away from my lab and do some field experiments."

Signed up and eager to play, need to update this guy hes been collecting dust for nearly a year. This is my first PbP but I've read a few and I've been looking for a chance to get in on one.

Throwing in my cleric because I miss playing the diva. Looking forward to it!

"Don't sound so enthused," a haughty female voice drawled. The speaker, a tall blonde woman whose carefully-crafted appearances and manner of dress seemed entirely out of place for a Pathfinder, frowned at the half-burnt elf. "Typically these jaunts involve wading through filth or sewage. Or both." She sighed miserably.

"Marquise Myrielle D'avalos." The name and title was accompanied by a dismissive wave of her hand. "I come merely as a favor to the church of Sarenrae. Her people do not deserve such... treatment."

Am Interested but will have to wait and see until 6th Oct in order not to over commit my chars.

I'd love to jump in on this one. I'll have to play a pregen though, so I can be Valeros. I found the PFS pregens, but it only has level 4. Are there level 5 pregens?

There are six level 5 Iconic pregens for this... The standard core of 4 (Wiz, Cleric,Rogue, Fighter) + ranger + Paladin. Let me know which one you want. Before the game starts I'll get the details out to those playing.

I have 3 ppl signed up in the event at the moment. You will need to register on Warhorn to get in - If you aren't in Warhorn you won't be eligible - sorry :(

I realized I will need to setup a new alias for Valeros. GM, would you mind if I posted under this account for the game or would that break the flow? I would just rather not have a pregen alias that I can't remove later.

Also interesting how the pregen is made. It's about a 14 point buy.

"Ah! At last my bags are packed and my stores are fully stocked." The elf's chain shirt is obscured by a thick leather smock and a bandoleer full of vials. Most are unlabeled though a few have a thick red wax sealing them. Over his shoulder he carries a common cloth sack, as well as a leather backpack.
Character fully updated and fixed. Ready to play as soon as the game day starts :)

If I'm lucky I maybe able to squeeze in one more game before 5th October to make a level 4.

Then I won't need a pregen but one can only hope.

A battered tankard hangs at his belt, A rather long warhammer strapped across his back along with a longbow. His armor looks like it has seen better days with the dust of the road making it look rusty.

That said, I've sent out multiple emails - presumably to the emails used to register for the even on warhorn. Not sure why those aren't getting thru.
