Game Master gigglestick

I've recently returned to the Buffalo area after being in Syracuse for 23 years.

The local Game store in Lancaster carries no Paizo, so I was wondering if there were any good game stores or Pathfinder games in the greater Buffalo/ Niagara area?

You should post this here:

Or, better yet, wait for a site mod to move this thread there.

As for your question, I do not know. I've never been to New York. I do hope you find something, however. If you don't, you can use this site's Play by Post function to play Pathfinder online.

I stubled over this a while back when I was trying to locate a couple of stores in Rochester and Buffalo that I used to frequent (no luck for me, but it could help you).

Seems like they would know where to go.

I too live in the Buffalo area, and was disappointed in the same store you're talking about! Maybe we should start a group?

I'm in Rochester if anyone wants to chill over a beer or three. I have a lot of games going on, but for me it all starts with a social call.

Thanks.

Once I get a bit more settled, I plan to start up some sort of game group again, so I'll have to troll the stores for a new group. (I'm buying my next house specifically to have a finished basement with a game-room/ man cave for rpgs.)

As for Rochester, I was hping to find something closer to Buffalo...by the time I get to Rochester, its almost the sme travel time as going to Auburn...

But I'll keep that in mind.

Besides the Lancaster store, what other game stores are there in the Buffalo/Niagara area?

All the ones I worked with in the 80's are gone... (Adventure Games, Hobbies Militaria, Queen City, Depew Hobby)...

Hey your evilness, do you ever hit the Genesseo running gag con?

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

Nope, never heard of it. I'm pretty much a shut-in up here. Most of my gaming is done over the interwebs with people I've known for a very long time.

I'd be down to hang out with anyone from the forums at least once though. Even you, my philosophy-resenting friend.

Moved thread.

Go. Meet some people. They have a pathfinder society event apparently.

Gee, I'm planning to start a game in Syracuse, so it's too bad you just moved away from there (I actually live in Auburn, but since both of the gamestores around here closed down, Play the Game, Read the Story in Syracuse is pretty much the only choice for me).

Hey lord zack, Do you know any werewolf lawyers? I finished a GIS degree in auburn last year

Let me know as soon as you get settled. I haven't played in over a year, and I swear I'm suffering from withdrawal. I have a weird schedule, but for Pathfinder, I can certainly change things up.

LOL...yeah. Then again, I expect some gamer crossover when talking about areas.

I was the GM who ran the three week PF demo (ITHF) and then did ROTR for two years at the front table on Friday nights...

Went to the Lancaster, NY store tonite to play DD4E Encounters but the game doesn't start again until next week. After rolling up 4E characters, the GM started a Beginner Box Scenario...

Yup (and this sounds like the punchline to a joke) I went to a DD Encounters game and a Pathfinder Game broke out.

The store is actually going to carry some PF stuff and starting in a few weeks there's going to be a Saturday PFS starting!

( Happy Dance )

After doing the BB scenario, one of the players walked over and bought the last PF Rulebook on the shelf...

Nice.
