I don't think there is a map of Korvosa out yet. Plus I am not sure what section of the city the Green Wrappers tend to hang out or control. My first destination would be the place the arrests took place. The next place would be to question someone with connections to the Hellknights. If possible one that took part in the arrest of Goodman Gnarls. Of course if Goodman is out of prison he would be a person of interest as well. The Hellknights may have said something to him during his arrest.

Darthen:

Spoiler:

You don't get much from the innuendo check, that's certain. From long association with Thalus you know "citizens" are players in gangs. Good citizens are gangland allies or, rarely, customers of one service or another. Bad citizens are rival gangsters or freelancers. Normal people are marks or "the great unwashed".

Sense motive and know(local) were pretty good. OK . The Green Wrappers; an organized gang, mostly local low-level thugs based out of Old Korvosa. So-called for the trademark wrapping of their primary wares, Pesh and Qat (legalized, taxed, drugs). The Wrappers have long been been an annoyance to Thalus. They sometimes cheat on the drug taxes, selling drugs with poorly forged stamps or no stamps at all for less than he does. It simultaneously raises police awareness and cuts into his profit margins. They are messy in their other dealings as well. Similarly stirring up police interest and creating resentment among the great unwashed.

Gnarls, formerly one of Thalus' troops, had the snot beat out of him by Hellknights trying to trace some Wrapper faux pas. He was a broken man at the trial. Your contacts with the Guards might know what happened to him. His arrest was in the Heights district near the bridge to Endrin Isle. (Old Korvosa)

Maggie Bright doesn't ring any bells with you.

Plans? Clarifications?

I don't know what Keliwyn's employment arrangement is, but he is down to 2sp+ from his starting gold. If it's possible to gain some pay before leaving the consul's house, perhaps from an assistant, he does so, particularly since he will be out of touch for awhile. BTW, what would you like his living accomodations to be? A simple apartment somewhere?

After leaving the Consul's house, Keliwyn heads for the Temple of the Iron Hand, with the intention of calling on Morten Forlorn.

Keliwyn will in no way admit or even infer that he is there in any sort of official role or that he is in any way connected to the Consul. When arriving at the Temple, he will likely potray himself as an independent who has heard that rumors, etc, and perhaps refer to a common acquaintance who pointed him to the temple. Sort of he's interested in looking out for the Mierani's interests entirely on his own. All nice and vague, as need be. It is and was my intention that there are very few people, apart from the Consul, who know that Keliwyn works in any sort of official capacity. To most, he is simply a well connected and friendly elf who does a lot of schmoozing. Any previous introduction to Morten would have been in such a capacity.

Jeorik stops and stares at the other man. He takes a moment to make sure the other Shoanti is going to stay put and not do anything rash and then turns his attention to the tattooed Shoanti.

Speaking loud enough to be heard but trying to keep a somewhat cheerful countenance, Jeorik says, "I am telling you that you are mistaken. By Erastil she has been with me for over two years. I wish no trouble but the sons of Ilsurian do not allow themselves to be robbed so easily. I am sure that if you look more closely you will see that you are mistaken as to the identity of the mule."

Keliwyn:

Spoiler:
Worship of Azmodeous is popular among some segments of the nobility and wealthy in Korvosa. As such, you follow goings on at the temple.
The temple Grandmaster is a Forlorn elf named Morton. The Preceptor is a Varisian-Chelish halfbreed woman named Owlen. Five nonentities, second or third sons of locally influential families, complete the priestly staff. Two years ago, Inigo, a young priest from Chelax joined the staff. He patrols with the HellKnights and has a reputation as bad as the HellKnight's for instant, violent, "justice".

In recent months, the temple seems to be having hard times. The servants have been dismissed.

When you arrive at the temple, you are shown into a garden to wait while the Grandmaster finishes another meeting. Shortly after your arrival, an old man attended by a pretty young maid and two young armsmen, one bald, one with hair, is also shown into the garden. He is Garven Fellrock, wealthy merchant or rapacious moneylender, depending on who you talk to.

Darvyl and Keliwyn:

The garden might be a pleasant spot at some season, but it isn't now. The sun is starting to burn off the cloud cover and the tallest plant is a shoulder high holly bush. The paths and planters are laid out with strict geometric precision. Blood-red roses with nearly black leaves, stems, and (prominent) thorns dominate. The walls are bare stone. The outer wall is grey granite. The temple walls are of the same black marble as Erodred's wall on the northern edge of town.

The old man strides past Keliwyn, barely pausing to say, "Good morning. I have an important business meeting soon. I'm sure you won't mind if I see the Grandmaster first." He sits down on the northern-most bench. The girl sits on the ground nearby, offering him fruit from a basket she carries. The bald swordsman takes up station behind him.

Moving quickly through the gate, Jeorik makes his way into the city, wondering briefly where the Midlands are and how he can find directions without sounding like too much of a stranger. His reception in the tented city still fresh on his mind, he doesn't want to appear too easy a mark.
