Having met during the course of the current task, you make your way to the mansion where sounds of battle and the wounded are going on. The Iomedeans mention briefly before sending you off that they suspect the Sect is up to no good and they want to confirm their suspicions. As you approach the zenith of the incline you see the scene of battle. MAP
Rosslyn looks over the fray in surprise. "Someone's here?" she whispers. "Which group is which?"
She watches as a small woman--gnome? falls. She's riding a wolf? Then there's the Ulfen who charged ahead, an elf, a half-orc...
But then she sees that there's a teenage girl among the fallen. "That's it, I know which side I'm on! she whispers, jumping into the fight with her bow.
Move to AC17, drawing shortbow. Fire on Bandit Archer 4.
Gunboat diplomacy gang - hopefully dropping the priest in style with give them pause (and stymie the alliance...). Of course Skane's likely to suffer the death of 1000 cuts now... lol
In all seriousness I hope everyone is cool with my Northman bravado in the face of such an ultimatum? If not I can retro my response...
Silar tries to observe the battleground, trying to figure out which are the Sect people. Rosslyn precedes him, determined to attack, and since he accepted the mission, he decides that he can't back up now.
For a moment is tempted to cast a spectacular shadow illusion on the battlefield, but he discards that. You showoff, this is not the time to mess around. There are people dying here. He casts magic missile at the bandit Rosslyin fired at.
Silar - believe your at 0 HP bro, down but not out...
Think they're hightailing it or at least bailing to regroup... I say let em, for now - if we can soak up a covering grunt or two - all good... we then get that healing potion down Wesh and get the wand to work...
Is a war of attrition - Rosslyn needs to stay close and flank if she can, between my defensive capabilities, Dieredon's nasty crits and our new roguess we could actually turn the tables here...
Silar not sure if playing possum is best idea - bandits haven't been interested in any bodys thus far...
Male Moon Elf Fighter (Arcane Archer of Kyonin) 3; HP: 28/28; AC:14; Initiative: +3; Passive Perception: 12; Second Wind 0/1 (SR or LR); Action Surge 0/1 (SR or L); Arcane Arrow 1/2 (SR or L)
Ok, who has the potion to pour down Rianna's or Wesh's throat, and who gets the potion first so that that person can then save the Brambleknight immediately?
I also have one, and I thought you had one as well Dieredon. Actually, I thought yours was a Cure mod. But I can't access my loot sheet at the moment so I don't know for sure.
Skane is in postion and up-armoured due to a potion long forgotten.
Should be able to protect anyone fetching the potions from Rianna and Bjorn now... if these suckers come back at us we might only survive a round or two so we need to be slick and get folks up and at em.
Current Status of the party (by my reckoning):
Skane: active 3/20 HP
Dieredon: active 12/20 HP
Rosslyn: active 17/17 HP
Silar: active 8/12 HP
Betony: Dying -11 HP
Thistledown: Stable @ -8 HP
Rianna: Stable @ -7 HP?
Wesh: Stable @ -6 HP
Bjorn: Stable @ -9 HP
Chip in if the math's out - trying to work out whose in best/worst shape...
Pour the potions down Wesh's throat. Both if need be. We won't survive, more importantly, Betony won't survive if we don't get him up now. We've also got the bandages which may stop Betony's bleeding.

I am going to try and save betony first while Countless works on Wesh or Rianna. I can track those left in a few rounds when we are up and running. Needless to say, our assisgned task was a success, was it not? I still want Lucien out of the equation though.
