Tirnel moves further away from the fray but seeing Quinray in trouble risks losing the protection of invisibility and attempts to drop at least one of the wolves snapping at Quinray into a pit.

Milo silences the wolf's howling with a barrage of magic missiles.
1st round: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 4) + 2 = 8
2nd round: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (4, 3) + 2 = 9

If needed
bow: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 201d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
bow: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 141d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Perception on G7 as we head back to Oleg's
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Sell the 5 wolf pelts (need GP total if any value).
See if we can appraise the plain, gold, apparently non-magical, ring from the kobold caves.
Return Svetlana's ring to Oleg.
Craft for myself:
Pearl of Power-1st
Cloak of Resistance +1
Amulet of Natural Armor +1
Not sure if anyone else wants things crafted.
Did we go through G7-G4; if so what was the terrain?
Milo Keen-Eye |
Tired from the long march home Milo smiles as the wooden walls of Oleg's trading post appear on the horizon. Thinking about what comes next puts an extra boost into his stride and he leads the party back at an increased pace.
As he enters the stockade he looks feverishly for Oleg. Finally finding Oleg he hands him the wedding ring, a huge smile on his lighting uphis usually unemotional countenance-My friend, Desna smiles on you and your lovely wife. I believe this belongs to the two of you. It is our honor to return it to you.
Milo will ask Tirnel to craft him a cloak of resistance +1 and an amulet of natural armor +1.
DM Darkvision |
Oleg lights up on seeing the ring: "Thank you Milo, I never thought to see it again."
Wolf pelts aren't in high demand but you are able to get 50gp for them.
The non-magical ring is worth 30gp.
G4-G7 were more rolling grasslands with the occasional stand of trees.
How much time and gold will Tirnel's crafting take?
Tirnel Stargazer |
It takes Tirnel 1 day to craft 1,000 GP worth of magical items.
So 2 days for Tirnel's items; 1 day for Ibram/Kentaur cloaks; and 1.5 days for Milo's items. So far 4.5 days of crafting plus anything Quinray wants made but not more than 6.5 days total.
Tirnel Stargazer |
Tirnel spends the better part of a week crafting items for himself and his companions. His usual acerbic and snippy personality is muted as he becomes engaged in his passion for crafting. In fact the party barely sees him as he spends most of his waking hours working on in Oleg's barn and workshop.
At the end he is proud to present them to the group-Yuelra bless these items to your use. I hope they find you advantage in the struggles to come.
Milo Keen-Eye |
Milo asks after news of Yegalash now out of obligation more than hope. He spends his time helping Oleg maintain the trading post and doing any tasks that need doing.
Tirnel Stargazer |
If there is no other news or event Tirnel suggests the party continue to exercise its charter and begin to clear more land starting at D4 and working their way to A4 before coming back to A5 and swinging back towards Oleg's.
Tirnel Stargazer |
Does Kesten have anything for us before we move out?
We can retcon anything for Quinray. Tirnel is anxious to get back out in the field and take some damage! Multi-class barbarian? YAAAARGH!

This keeps happening...am I missing something?

Been having a tough time posting. Not coming out right

So I believe Darkvision has been botting you per your request.
Sometimes if you just put a dice roll in with no other text the system won't take it.
Nice roll BTW!

I cast win!
I wonder if those are of elven craft? I'd guess not as my folk don't usually work in stone but worth investigating none the less.
Good eyes Quinray and Kentaur! He looks askance at Milo.
We should investigate to make sure there is no threat to future travelers.
investigative perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
DM Darkvision |
A large disgusting beast that looks like a slime-covered toad with two walrus-like tusks jutting from its upper jaw appear from behind some bushes as the party approaches the stone structures to investigate. The creature's back is covered with crusty looking nodules from one of which shoots a jet of slime which covers Tirnel and starts to harden, restricting his movement.
The creature is about 30' away.
On Tirnel vs. touch AC
slime jet: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Party action.
The slime strikes Tirnel and quickly hardens to the texture of cold tar, entangling him. The hardened slime can be removed as a full-round action with a DC 15 Strength check.
Being entangled impedes movement, but does not entirely prevent it unless the bonds are anchored to an immobile object or tethered by an opposing force. An entangled creature moves at half speed, cannot run or charge, and takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and a –4 penalty to Dexterity. An entangled character who attempts to cast a spell must make a concentration check (DC 15 + spell level) or lose the spell.

You need to drain the swamp before you can cast win!
Milo Keen-Eye |
Milo chuckles throatily at seeing Tirnel once again targeted by an encountered foe.
Either they see you as the most dangerous of us or you have irked Desna!
His mirth does not distract him from firing off a pair of arrows at the slime spouting thing and advancing.
rapid shot: 1d20 + 8 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 8 - 2 + 1 = 161d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 = 8
rapid shot: 1d20 + 8 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 8 - 2 + 1 = 111d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 1 = 11
Tirnel Stargazer |
Laugh all you want Milo; if I'm encased in sticky slime it only means I won't be fighting the beast directly.
Tirnel lobs a gob of acid at the swamp creature instead.
concentration: 1d20 + 3 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 5 = 26
touch: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 3 - 2 = 141d3 ⇒ 1
