Paletress do you feel a cart is more useful or just a packhorse? will we be able to get a cart through the woods if we go off road? or will we just unhook the cart and take the horse that way?
Pack horse is likely the best route. We will likely be offroading.

RPG Ultimate Equipment 91) can significantly reduce these penalties , but no one in Heldren makes or sells them. However, a PC who succeeds at a DC 15 Craft (shoes) skill check can fashion a serviceable pair.
You might consider sharing the wealth on those long swords Paletress as Sparhawk can use one.
The cart is not going to make it off road. You can hide it in the trees/bushes with a survival check with your extra gear as was mentioned by Autumn here.

Yes, I have it as a class skill, but you don't get that bonus unless trained in it. And none of us have craft(shoes) so it would be an int check for everyone. Unless you allow taking craft without specifying, like craft(weapons) or (traps) or (armor), and just use craft for all of it. In which case, I am totally taking Craft next level.

Guys, you have a player that has been waiting a week to get in the game for you to get back to the village.
Enjoying the walk back to the village Brocken sings some wander songs... unfortunatly completly out of tune. But with loads of enthusiasm.
I assumed we were getting on horses and riding to the wagon, and then to town.
I got on a horse and left so I assume we are there now.
Will using the horses still be better than wandering around in snowshoes?

Belliomandus, Sparhawk is a member of a knight order also called the Pandions. If you want to be introduced faster we can say that the two have cooperated in the past in some joint mission and are friends of a sort. That way I can just greet you warmly in town and get you in faster.
