I's like to, as an experiment, start a game some time but give players Very limited knowledge on what they'll be facing in game.

I was thinking the same thing, Eleeda. How would this be different if I had no idea what I was getting into...?
I'm trying to do that with Variziel in-game. He's a veteran, so he knows what he's doing... but he doesn't expect undead.
Yeah, I mean. It would be cool, but I don't think anyone would sign up for the "You're normal villagers with NPC levels game" if they didn't know it was going somewhere interesting. There is unfortunately some level of player/character knowledge that must be separated here. Hopefully there's still some surprise.
ya, that's what I've been trying to go with for Eleeda. She's not certainly not thinking zombies or attack or anything like that, just that something must have happened to her friend and that she is likely hurt, or very sick or the like.
Best way to prepare for zombies?
Split the party, use up the healing supplies and open all the windows. :)

Fueled by his terror, Micha manages to hold the door shut against the weight of the cow.
When we first started this game there was never a time that even guessed our first encounter would be "death-cow".
When I saw the picture I actually started laughing. I was thinking "this is going to be like one of those funny zombie movies, isn't it..."
I was wrong. With that one line, zombie cow got terrifying.
You'd need a very sick sense of humor to find what I have planned for you funny. Then again, if you can't laugh at it, this kind of game just gets depressing.

Yeah, cows are pretty big though. The only reason they're funny is because they're dumb and scared of everything. If I saw a zombie cow I would probably sh*t myself.
Oops! Have no idea why/how I put +11?? That's like, what, cloud giant strength? God level strength? :P But I wasn't sure if she would've been strong enough to lift the bar or not, so holding the door seemed the best bet. In hindsight though, if Karolina could lift the bar on her own, I suppose Eleeda could as well.

Eleeda was just looking at your character sheet and I noticed that your HP is way too high. It should be 14 (2d6+2 con+2 FC).
Oh yes, this game should be quite fun. Start with a half-decayed zombie cow, the knowledge that the dying woman in the house right nearby is probably going to become likewise... and go downhill from there?

Guys sorry to do this so early in the game but I am going to have to drop. I have way to much on my plate at the minute and this is one of the only times I have been able to get on for more than 5 minutes. I am really really sorry I just don't have the time any more. I hope that everyone else manages to survive.

As a guard you would have access to one of the six dwarven revolvers in town. It's not yours, but you're given it to carry while on duty. So go ahead and add that to your sheet. Only six bullets though, the rest are kept in the guard's keep. I'll make a post bringing you into gameplay now. Expect it in a few minutes.

Character sheet has acquired a Dwarven pistol, also I edited the background a little bit, when I originally wrote it I didn't know that Thogar was evil.
