I have a Gnoll Monk in progress as I type this. He's super dumb, but he makes up for it in spirit (and punches). He's halfway done on the Mythweavers site. I don't know much about playing by post, as this'll be my first if you'll have me. Here is the required info for him. Pardon the paraphrasing.

1. How long have you been on the force?

-5 years, Greg hasn't advanced because of a few reasons. For one, he's incredibly stupid and tactless, which doesn't warrant advancement. For another, and this is just in his head; he's a Gnoll. Who would want a Gnoll Lieutenant?

2. What prompted the RNC to recruit you? If you applied, why did they accept your application?

-Greg applied to join the RNC, he heard that they do good, and that fit him like a glove. They accepted his application (after MANY physical and mental tests) because of his prowess in combat. He failed most of the mental tests, to be sure.

3. Why did you accept/apply?

-He wants to do good and punch stuff. If he can do both, he's happy.

4. Brief Character Sketch (I am no artist, so I will be submitting characteristics)

(High Wisdom) Owing to many years of living on the streets, learning to fight in a temple full of monks and inborn common sense, Greg can be counted on to give wise, if not incomprehensible advice in combat or otherwise.

(Low Intelligence) Owing to the same things that gave him his wisdom, he never learned much beyond how to fight well. He can read to be sure, and he can speak in his mother tongue, but beyond that he is nearly useless.

(Low Charisma) He is not good with people. You can catch him having normal (-ish) conversations with people that know him, but other than that, he will walk up to a person, smile... and they'll run.

If you would like my sheet (which is still in progress as I have said), I can link it here.
Color me intrigued.

Regarding what I'm looking for in a player: I appreciate the ability to post daily, but don't require it. RPer are preferred, as this campaign has lots of NPC interactions.

I don't have any real timeline for this recruitment. It really depends on the level of interest, but as always sooner is better.
