Arrrrrrr, walk the plank, scallywag and all that. This be pirates and so do ye be.
Impositions:
Disgraceful Impositions:
Yes, Sir!: For the next hour, the PCs’ crew completes any mundane tasks they’re assigned in half the expected time. This typically relates to Craft and Profession (sailor) checks made to prepare, maintain, or repair the ship, and cannot be applied to combat or more complex deeds like crafting magic items. Costs 2 Disrepute.
Captain’s Orders!: As a standard action, a PC on board her ship can cast fog cloud, heroism, make whole, quench, or whispering wind with a caster level equal to her character level. Costs 5 Disrepute.
Walk the Plank!: The PCs may sacrifice one crew member or prisoner to grant themselves and their crew one of two bonuses: either a +2 bonus on all skill checks or a +2 bonus on attack rolls. These bonuses only apply while on board the PCs’ ship and last until either the next day or when the captain leaves the ship. If a sacrificed character is returned to life, the PCs and their crew members take a –2 penalty on both skill checks and attack rolls for 1 day. Costs 5 Disrepute.
Get Up, You Dogs!: Every PC and allied character on the deck of the PCs’ ship is affected as per the spell cure light wounds, as if cast by a cleric of the PCs’ average party level. This imposition can only be used once per week. Costs 10 Disrepute.
Despicable Impositions:
5: Lashings!: Your ship's speed doubles for 1 day.
5: Shiver Me Timbers!: While on board their ship, the PCs and their entire crew can reroll initiative or roll initiative in what would otherwise be a surprise round. The benefit of this imposition can be used immediately, but only once per week.
10: Besmara’s Blessings!: As a standard action, a PC on board her ship can cast animate rope, control water, remove curse, remove disease, or water breathing with a caster level equal to her character level.
10: Dead Men Tell No Tales!: While on board their ship, the PCs can use this imposition to automatically confirm a threatened critical hit.
What, and waste Grit? Besides, if I did that, how would Jrahk keep up with the latest in pirate fashion trends?
Edit: Besides, you say I have a 5% chance to miss, but all it takes is one Quickling with monk class levels and I'm screwed. Yes I know I'm giving the GM ideas, but I think that would actually be pretty cool.

Clearly it's time for Master Shen to return, with upgrades.

Everyone thank Smashomancer.
Pfft. I'm not afraid of him. What's he gonna do? Lose a bald student to Master Roshi at me?

Keyboard slip. Master CHEN. Entirely different characters. =p
Though man I WISH I could toss pillars at you guys and have him fly on them.
Edit: Well, that was his brother. I'd settle for a KiKoHo in a pinch though.
Maybe I should re-do Chen as a Monk/Stalker or something. Hmmmm...
TL;DR: Master Chen is a Monk build (with minor tweaks. One was a MoMS, one a Flowing Monk, but same general "Dodge attack-->Trip Counter-->Kick ass" moveset) I've used twice in two different games I GM'd. Both times he was a handful (technically performed a TPK in the other game, but left the PCs alive and humiliated for attacking his dojo instead of killing them). In this case he was "killed" but only because I miscalculated his AC. So he's still out there...somewhere...
And yes, some select 3PP is open. Psionics and Path of War are cool, everything else is case-by-case but answer starts at "No" by default (Daliya is using a 3PP Sorcerer Bloodline right now for Eldritch Heritage as I recall). I mentioned this in Recruitment I believe. The character you guys are replacing was a Tactician, and the previous Captain was a Soulbolt.
Gremory tosses back Jrahks blade-on-a-stick to him.
Well, if we're packing it in today already, I suppose I'll head back. Good hustle boys. She slaps Gortus on the ass.
Edit: Soulbolt? I love the naming theme on these. Would you mind if I made a Soulknife archetype and named it the Thinkedge? Or the Fightbrian? Fightbrain, maybe?
Male Orc Bloodrager (Primalist) 9 | Dead, essentially.
While Jrahk is getting dressed, he takes a long look at his clothes. Between the fading, assorted stains, and tears, the harpy droppings barely make a visible difference.
This seems to bother him, much more than it usually would.
"Jrahk...should really get some new clothes. Before the other Captains show up."
Daliya looked at them. "Almost certainly. Also, bathing. We're pirates. We live on water. We really don't get an excuse unless the bathwater contains sharks." Shrugging, she added, "Throw some coin at the problem until it goes away, Captain. It's what we plunder for." Pondering, she added, "Do we have time to get new clothes before they arrive, or are we about start rummaging through the hold and hoping someone can make clothes?"

Jrahk doesn't acknowledge Daliya's comment on bathing.
"We have three months before they come. Maybe we can find a good tailor by then. But right now, we'll focus on clearing out the rest of the trash on this island. That shouldn't take long for us."
You have three months to clear this place out and plan a lavish fete for all of the other Free Captains on the Pirate Council. Failure means your status is revoked.
"Today or tomorrow?" Daliya eyed his remaining wounds. "We might be able patch up the worst of it now, but I'm not sure what we'd have left for the next fight."

"Transportation is no issue. I have memorized locations in every port we have visited recently and can teleport us up to 1000 miles."
"We will prepare spells of See Invisibility and defeat the spiders with that. I will create scouts to examine the island. Retrieve the harpy corpses, please."
Jrahk is correct. You can't see them because they inhabit a different plane of existence. You could see them if you used Ethereal Jaunt or Blink (50% of the time) though.
"Maybe we can get some spells to lock them into this plane, force them to fight us." Daliya shrugged, but grabbed a couple of Harpy corpses that weren't too gooey.
Furthermore, it is not the spiders that nearly scattered us, it was the next creature. Whatever it may have been. She states while making no effort to lift a corpse.
Yes, Dimensional Anchor, or something similar would do wonders.

It depends on what happens tonight, but Ixrul might start preparing a disposable strike team from the Harpycorpses. Also, I might teleport to the nearest major port and do some shopping if we can think of things we need.
Ixrul will suggest they anchor out a bit away from the island in order to not get attacked at night.
