Arrrrrrr, walk the plank, scallywag and all that. This be pirates and so do ye be.
Impositions:
Disgraceful Impositions:
Yes, Sir!: For the next hour, the PCs’ crew completes any mundane tasks they’re assigned in half the expected time. This typically relates to Craft and Profession (sailor) checks made to prepare, maintain, or repair the ship, and cannot be applied to combat or more complex deeds like crafting magic items. Costs 2 Disrepute.
Captain’s Orders!: As a standard action, a PC on board her ship can cast fog cloud, heroism, make whole, quench, or whispering wind with a caster level equal to her character level. Costs 5 Disrepute.
Walk the Plank!: The PCs may sacrifice one crew member or prisoner to grant themselves and their crew one of two bonuses: either a +2 bonus on all skill checks or a +2 bonus on attack rolls. These bonuses only apply while on board the PCs’ ship and last until either the next day or when the captain leaves the ship. If a sacrificed character is returned to life, the PCs and their crew members take a –2 penalty on both skill checks and attack rolls for 1 day. Costs 5 Disrepute.
Get Up, You Dogs!: Every PC and allied character on the deck of the PCs’ ship is affected as per the spell cure light wounds, as if cast by a cleric of the PCs’ average party level. This imposition can only be used once per week. Costs 10 Disrepute.
Despicable Impositions:
5: Lashings!: Your ship's speed doubles for 1 day.
5: Shiver Me Timbers!: While on board their ship, the PCs and their entire crew can reroll initiative or roll initiative in what would otherwise be a surprise round. The benefit of this imposition can be used immediately, but only once per week.
10: Besmara’s Blessings!: As a standard action, a PC on board her ship can cast animate rope, control water, remove curse, remove disease, or water breathing with a caster level equal to her character level.
10: Dead Men Tell No Tales!: While on board their ship, the PCs can use this imposition to automatically confirm a threatened critical hit.

Not quite yet.
"Also," Ixrul leans in conspiratorially, "Because he's not quite dead and I don't want him catching on that you're aware of his incompetence. I'm hoping to extort information from him about where he keeps his stash."
"I do get the impression that he is an *exceptionally* observant individual, so I had to tell you he was dead so he would buy it when I said I told you he was dead."
"I will, of course, deal with his failure once I know where he keeps the majority of his wealth. Most of his sort have stashes somewhere. If you so desire."
For what it's worth, all of this is true. Ixrul does intend to figure out where Giles keeps his stash and then kill him, or at least have Jrahk kill him.

Remember I asked you what your intentions were earlier, and you told me you planned to let him go. If that was not the case, that changes things a bit. He's good enough at Sense Motive to have gotten a Hunch off that. Did you ever Arcane Lock his manacles?
"I see. What kind of employment were you looking for, exactly? I assume you know the details of our little operation?" she moves her chair again slightly to get more comfortable.

Jrahk intended to let Giles go, because he liked the idea of dumping him in an alleyway in Port Peril with no equipment or money, and seeing how far he could get.
Jrahk certainly doesn't mind killing him, but that wasn't part of his plan during the interrogation.

Ixrul did arcane lock his manacles - the fact that we - or at least Jrahk - might have wanted to release him at some point would not affect the fact that Ixrul doesn't wan an assassin sneaking around the ship.
He might not have told anyone else about this, though. Ixrul is fairly close-mouthed.

Assuming we bough decent locks, he's trying to make a DC 40 or so. Without tools.

Remember, Jrahk, I'm smarter than you. Or probably anyone else you've ever met. Except maybe Odan.
"Of course. Though I reserve the right to reject a job if my preliminary analysis indicate that it is either unsuitable for a more... arcane... assassin or if there is a greater than 50% chance of my failure or dying in the process."
Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3
"I have a counter offer: Do the job I give you, or no deal. I can't have you weaseling out because it's someone you don't want to kill, and a cowardly assassin is only marginally better than a dead one. Enough that I'd be sure to rectify the mistake if one returned." she shifts her chair again. You hear a slight "click", but nothing happens yet.
Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3
"No, I received word Corlan is already dead. That list is complete."
"I have a more interesting target for you. I was going to send Giles, but since you killed him, it shouldn't be a problem for you."
"I want you to kill someone who's been on the list for a time now. My superiors have determined that now is the time to strike, so it's time for Arronax Endymion to exit the picture."
"And who knows, with a spot free someone like you might be able to worm himself into a Free Captaincy, if you needed extra incentive."
Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3
You're sending me mixed signals here. What was your intent when you last spoke to him? Jrahk wanted to let him go, but Ixrul wanted to kill him. Was Ixrul in the room?
Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3
"Depends on the job. I got 500 a head, plus expenses for Corlan, Haddon, and Roweena. Easy job, easy money. Harder jobs I name my price. Highest I've ever gone is 10000. Had to drop some martial artist, flubbed the killing stroke and the fight was on. Nearly met my match there."
"Now if you're asking...I'd be glad to give you a discount. First taste is free, in exchange for my freedom."

"Wonderful. We're planning on killing your former employer, as you might imagine."

"Because you might be an orc, and elf, some kind of furry, and a bug, but none of you are a f!~@ing Mwangi negroid, so you at least have something going for you."
"Plus, Zarskia's a b$###."
In case you haven't figured it out yet, Giles hates black people.
