I... What... How did this... Dmitri stammers, aghast at the situation. He turns to the boy, a cold fire burning behind his eyes, you were too eager to prove your prowess, and a man is now dead. You have much to learn about restraint when the situation warrants. He surveys the situation again, staring at the corpse of one of the few people he would call a friend in this new world he finds himself. What can we do agianst this darkness if one of our most powerful can be killed in a single blow from a boy?

"I... That's what happened?? He was just trying to prove himself?"

Releasing the arms and rising to his feet before turning and stepping away, Justin covers his mouth, biting in his index finger to maintain himself further.

"..Dmitri is right. You have no restraint - you killed the very man you looked up to just to try and impress him.. I'm sure he's really impressed right now, isn't he?" The rogues voice falls cold and heavy and he speaks, "You have no idea the amount of restraint I'm using right now."

Looking dumbfounded at the situation the young man sits in the position he was left in before his assailant got up.

Toby is dumpfounded, but angry. She was just getting to like the little guy...She bursts forth from her hiding place to Jeri's body, to see if there's anything she can do.

I want you to understand I'm just staying in character here.

Brian had been standing idly by while the party mixed words with the stranger. He had been deep in his own thoughts, and, really, didn't care to banter with another NPC.

When the discussion takes an EXTREMELY unanticipated turn for the worse, Brian looks on, mouth agape. Some more word noises are made, but nothing will re-attach a head to a body. ....right?

Brian's blood turns to liquid nitrogen. Deep inside the dark, cold spirit that takes over his brain, a horrible thing he simple refers to as "Tactical", it spares a moment to admire the attack. Sun Tzu would be proud.

After all, there was an entire chapter devoted to Ambush.

Brian speaks up, his voice seems unearthly, loudly booming from the nearby trees. The words are accented by the power of the Celestial and his halo appears, glowing painfully bright.

"YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY A SERVANT OF NEKRON, THE DARK LORD! YOU APPROACH WITH SWEET WORDS AND HAVE SLAIN A SERVANT OF LIGHT! AN ATTACK UPON THE PARTY OF PROPOKET IS AN ATTACK ON PROPOKET HIMSELF! EVEN NOW OTHERS REMAIN ENTHRALLED BY YOUR SPEECH WHILE YOU NO DOUBT PLOT YOUR NEXT MURDER! BUT WE HAVE NO PITY FOR ASSASSINS OF NEKRON! I SUMMON!!!"

A host of 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 celestial eagles appear in phalanx surrounding the vile murderer. Their crimson eyes are filled with hate and odium for so despicable a killer. They strike with iron beaks and steel talons.

Brian moves casually to ten feet of the enemy, allowing all the birds to act in advantage.

Eagle dice:

M4N Unknown DM of GM

Campaign dead...thanks to the GM that failed to properly handle situation. I deeply apologize to Jerimiah and everyone else as well. After I have taken some time to reflect on things and figure out where I went wrong, I may try again and hopefully fix the situation for best l next time. Thank you again, everyone, for playing. Brian, you expressed concern with having a summoner...site your summons area amazing and very powerful, but you were a good sport about everything...I'd be happy to have you join again. Toby, you were also a delight to have in the party. Justin, your game play was a great asset and you were a lot of fun to have around. Dmitri, you have stuck in there during some interesting times, you are truly a Saint...and your sword play was great. I am sorry things have gone sour. Please accept my humble apologies for my failure to do this campaign properly. I promise you all, if I am to reboot this campaign...I will do a much a better job with opening quests to you all and starting things of a little more quickly...getting you all into more fun things early on. I am sorry that it did not work well this time around.
