Numair waits for the others to descend, whether that be slowly or (very) quickly, as the case may be. He then carefully tries his own luck, hoping the pile of folks at the bottom may cushion his fall, if it comes to that.

climb 1d20-1

Which it does, oh god. What CR is gravity? Coz it's kicking our asses

Male Halfling Cleric of Irori 3

Faysal looks on dumbstruck as the tall folk tumble down the darkened tunnel.

"What is it you're all trying to prove, that gravity works?"

Climb 1d20 ⇒ 12
Acrobatics in case Climb fails 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27

Once he gets down, Faysal checks his companions for serious injuries

@ Maikn- HAHAHHA....

Makin climbs into the shaft to begin his decent, loses his purchase on the rock and falls to the bottom, rolling down a short ramp into a chamber. As he collects himself he hears scraping and several thumps as Haldo, Remos and Numair suffer the same ill effects of gravity. Faysal looks on dumbstruck as the tall folk tumble down the darkened tunnel. He then climbs down the tunnel mustering enough strength to thwart gravity's cruel embrace to arrive at the chamber unharmed. With a wry smile he quips, "What is it you're all trying to prove, that gravity works?"

As you look around you see ceramic lamps burning with cadaverous blue flame lighting this wide, high-ceilinged chamber. To the southwest, a baboon headed figure crouches menacingly. A stern-looking pharaoh stares across at it from the northeast. Carved folds of well sculpted cloth enshroud the northwest statue, and in the southeast niche, the pharaoh is again depicted, his face scarred and twisted with anger. Three arches lead from the chamber, the fragments of shattered doors dangling on ancient hinges.

everyone but Faysal take 8 damage from the fall, be glad the floor rolled its damage dice below average.

"Now then, why do you suppose old Pharaoh ma-thingy looks so angry?"

Know: History 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Remos hits his head on the floor, cutting himself open. "OWWW...!" he screams, touching the side of his head. At Faysal's healing channel, the wound mostly disappears. "You good little man!" he exclaims.

He walks around the chamber and prods each statue with his sword, then looks south, down the corridor.

Male Human Rogue 2

Makin picks himself up, dusts himself off and wipes the blood from his nose.

'So much for my skillful Pathfinder tomb-raiding.'

After this he looks around and and walks over to look through arch opposite the ramp they slide down.

Remos gets up and prods one of the statues with his sword causing a trap to be sprung sending jets of flame into the room.

I need a reflex save from everyone

Reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Remos is BBQ.

Male Human Rogue 2

Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18, And I have evasion.

'Ah!' Makin exclaims as he dives towards the arch he was investigating.

Male Halfling Cleric of Irori 3

Oh FFS!!!
Faysal flings himself to the closest non-incendiary point.
"Remos!!!"

Ref 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Reflex 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

13 damage for Faysal and Remos, 6 damage for Haldo, None for Makin.

Male Human Rogue 2

'Damn, you guys alright? Back up the ramp and I'll try and disable that so it doesn't happen again.'

Once everyone is gone I try to find the Trap 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 then disable it 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

Male Human Wizard 2 (Enchanter) Init +2, Per +1/+3, AC 12, TAC 12, FFAC 10, HP 14, Fort +2 / Ref +2 / Will +4

After unceremoniously falling down on top of the others, Numair picks himself up and ntoices what he thinks is a broken wrist. "Damn!" he curses, then sighs and smiles as Faysal's healing surge seemingly knits the fracture back together. "Now, what do we have ...double damn!" Numair yells, as Remos' prodding sends a gout of flame towards him.

reflex 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

Male Halfling Cleric of Irori 3

"OOOOWwwww... my HAT!!!"

Faysal cradles the charred remains of his wicker hat, wincing as his fingers come in contact with still smoldering bits.

"Haleen gave me this hat..."

He puts the charred remains back on his head, and looks around

"Who else is hurt?"

you find what looks like the trap and begin trying to disable it only to set it off again. (sorry you rolled a 1) send another reflex save. I will assume the others hid on the ramp.

Reminder - I'm leaving for China tomorrow. Will be back on Friday. Not sure how much time I'll have for posting, so feel free to DMPC Numair.

Have fun, bring us back something nice :)

rogue 2 trap 0. you save for no damage.

Male Halfling Cleric of Irori 3

lulz, wut?

Faysal will expend a healing burst once Makin is done with the trap
Burst 1d6 ⇒ 2

And since THAT was such a resounding sucess...

Wand of CLW

Faysal 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Numair 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Makin 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Remos 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Haldo 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Male Human Rogue 2

Cross-posted, sorry.

After Faysal's healing, Makin tells everyone to avoid the trapped statue and heads for the western arch.

Makin peers into the next chamber:
The floor of this chamber is covered with centuries of untouched dust. Along the walls, cobwebs cover gruesome fresco work depicting unworthy souls dismembered by demonic sphinxes. In the west wall, a pair of niches hold painted statues of gynosphinxes, glaring with wooden menace from beneath layers of ancient filth. A third niche stands empty to the south, while a fourth filled with rubble lies to the north.

Male Human Rogue 2

Makin searches the rubble, wary of further traps.

Remos follows Makin into the chamber and looks around.

Faysal looks glumly at the wand, trying to discern how much power is left in it Spellcraft? 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

He then follows Main and Remos into the chamber, padding as silently as his sandals will allow Stealth 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Faysal:

Spoiler:
doh, i totally forgot to monitor that thing. Was supposed to be 10 charges. I think you used more so no big deal. If you want to go back and count and you haven't used 10 then you get some more. Guess I need to drop another one.

It is indeed interested in your holy symbols but Sarenrae or Pharasma is not getting a reaction.

Faysal tries Irori next. You know, HIS deity :)

Faysal Ibn Ahmad Ibn Aziz wrote:

Numair, noticing what you are trying asks if you have a symbol for Nethys.

I am getting a mummy flashback where the sidekick turned traitor tries all his holy symbols while speaking multiple languages, funny stuff.

Male Halfling Cleric of Irori 3

Ha, I hadn't thought of that :)

to Numair "No, I DON'T have a symbol of Nethys handy, I am NOT a trinket seller!!!"

"Well, perhaps you should gain one when next we are in civilization. I believe that would save us this melee in the future."

I'm back, everyone. I'll wait for the start of the next round to post my next action.

Numair fires his force missile at the visible sphinx striking it unerringly.
Haldo pushes his way up to the room to stand next to Makin.
Sphinx 1 seeing a shiny new intruder in front of it strikes at haldo but misses.
Sphinx 2, injured by the force missile, slams Makin 1d6 ⇒ 3 damage

need Remos and Makin's (if you want to change it) actions for round one and Numair and haldo for round 2. Faysal is assumed to be trying his holy symbols for the first round.

Change Makin's move to one south, so that Remos can get into action, and he then uses his attack on the Sphinx. As above, 14 to hit, 8 damage.

Haldo swings at the first sphinx.
