Hawkmoon has agreed to join us, hopefully I'll be able to get us one more and we'll be able to play with 3.
As noted in the invitation this will be an experiment, I expect us to do things fairly differently towards the end of the game than we do at the beginning as we figure out the best ways to do things in this format.
One of the things we can at least start discussing is what character
I've played Agna (Ranger) all the way through S&S and am in adventure 6 of S&S with Zarlova (Cleric) and have started playing Wrath with Enora (Arcanist/Wizard).
I'm currently leaning towards Class Deck Merisiel, but there are several other characters I'd be happy to play as well.
Glad to be part of the experiment! I don't mind too much who I get to be and am happy to fill any role. My personal top choices would be either class deck Valeros or class deck Ezren. But like I said, others can choose first.
I'd love to join you. Happy to play whatever character is convenient for the group. Agna and Zarlova are probably my top picks, otherwise. Looking at your picks, maybe one of the clerics?
Edit: One caveat, and I can totally defer to someone else. During the week of Jun 26 - July 3 I'll have erratic connectivity.
Sweet, Welcome aboard! Looks like we may get set up earlier than I had hoped.
As this hasn't been done before I'm not sure what sort of time frame we're looking at, but we very well may be done by the 26th anyway.
I am thinking for the information I present, it'll be the publicly available information, such as text of locations/cards, open/closed status, how many cards are in them etc, but not calculable info such as how many of each card type is left in any given location.
As mentioned dice will get rolled in thread via the paizo dice roller, but you'll need to keep track of your own cards etc.
Hopefully by Wednesday afternoon I'll have things all set up and ready to go. Once I do I'll let you guys know, open up the gameplay thread and give us a shout out on the ACG section of the forum, I'm sure there's plenty there who will be interested in following along.
I'll stick with my plan to bring Merisiel, I'm not especially concerned by a well balanced party, so feel free to bring whomever you think will be the most fun.
So, how will we handle the details? I'm assuming something like this, so let me know if I'm wrong:
If I want to explore, I post that and then you tell me what card I encounter.
When I make a check, if I feel I need help with something, I'll ask for help and wait to roll until you guys respond.
If I have cards I'm willing to put out there to help others, I might just post something like "I have a Blessing of the Gods. If anyone feels they need it, its yours." That way you don't have to wait for me to post that I'll help you.
Obviously, if anything where we all need to make a decision comes up (like we all get moved to another location but get to choose which one) we'll have to wait to each make our choice.
Is that what you are envisioning? Is there anything I'm missing?

That sounds pretty much like exactly what I'm envisioning.
I have faith that we'll be able to cooperate and figure out which ideas work well and which don't as it goes along.

Do you want to be Agna more than you want to be a cleric? If so, who would you think is a better fit if you are Agna, Valeros or Ezren? I am happy being either, so just let me know who you would want to complement who.
If you didn't want to be the Cleric, I could also be Zarlova, who seems very wizardly.
I'm totally happy with either. Zarlova's awesome, so if you haven't tried her and want to, I encourage you to do so :) She is very wizardy so I would not have played her alongside Ezren.
I'll be ready to play either, and I'll commit to one in an hour or two either way :)
Ok. I'll just take Valeros so I can keep things simple, since I'll be struggling enough with my first PBP campaign and won't want all those extra checks for recharge and what now. So you have free choice of who you want be. On the one hand, if you take Agna I think we have a pretty hardy group, so we might not NEED a cleric. On the other hand, it is WotR, so we might need a cleric. Your call.
That's a fairly compelling point about keeping it simpler for PbP. I'll go with Agna.
If you were Ezren, I'd feel more like we needed a healer; even if just to cover for very bad luck.

FYI: I'm traveling Thursday evening and a good chunk of the day Friday for a long weekend trip. I'll bring my class deck with me and should be able to post a few times still. Just might be longer chunks of time between posts. I'll gladly list my hand cards and whether I feel comfortable letting you use a blessing or something for your checks so I don't slow things down too much.
