Dotting in with a Hamatulatsu unchained monk/inquisitor of Zon-Kuthon. She's an interrogator from the order of the rack and there is nothing she won't do to extract information. She is Lawful Evil and used to working with those of good alignment. Not everyone is willing to get their hands dirty, but the work still needs to get done.

Done't forget the Kensai's version of Canny Defense. You should get an additional +1 Dodge Bonus at Level 1. Also, when we get to Mythic if you take the Mythic Feat "Mythic Paragon" you can squeeze out an extra +2 AC from Enduring Armor:

Hmm, I'd always seen it listed as a separate dodge bonus before. 6 one way, a half-dozen the other I guess. I love the background by the way. Interesting stuff.

Thorfinn has the campaign trait associated with Hierophant, so I'll probably go that way. Likely to Dual Path, the second path is still up in the air, maybe Archmage since I do have arcane spells. Guardian and Champion are certainly possible, if it turns out that they work better with the makeup of the party.

Actually, upon review, most Hierophant abilities revolve around divine spells and channeling energy, which my archetypes give up. As long as the GM doesn't mind, I may forsake Hierophant and go a different direction. If you think I should change my campaign trait to one associated with my new path I can probably do that, though it might require some background reworking and/or gymnastics (since some campaign traits seem to assume a character who grew up in Mendev, which mine didn't).

Ok, I've updated the submissions doc with everything that's been handed in so far.


Alright, changed campaign trait to Exposed to Awfulness. It works the best with my background, and I was considering Guardian as a Mythic path anyway.


Couldn't possibly hope to resist this game, since Hellknights are my absolute favorite thing to play xD. I decided to dust off a hellknight i played before but didn't get to full experience, hopefully this setting will allow me just that. The Hellknight Lizardfolk, who will savagely kill his enemies, and then play a sweet tune on his violin over their corpse to celebrate.

I play to go guardian for sure, planning on building as a tank for the group. I more than likely will dual path champion as I go fighter/inquisitor, and I'm looking at doing Hellknight/Evangelist of Asmodeus for this as well. Just to fit his story, I tweaked it slightly to fit the campaign better, but its generally the same as it was before, just a darker version of vengeance and corruption rather than righteousness and justice.

A goal for this character is to hopefully at some point Planar call a devil and make a deal with him in exchange for infernal power. Dark Yizzik I have lovely ideas of those charcoal scales burning with hellfire beneath them. Hope you enjoy the consideration, let me know if I missed anything.

The Commisar demands a story, so the fluff begins here:

There is a time in every young mans life that he must leave his home, after forging the armor that he wore he bought weapons, his father and mother were very proud that he was once again taking up the mantle of Hellknight, just as they had years before. Growing up amongst them he was raised to believe certain things, and one day he had enough, and went to the forge. Taking his time, sweet and alluring time, he spent all of it in the forge. Making from Mythral a suit of armor and Signifer mask, everything he would need to show off as a hellknight. It took him nearly 5 years to gather the gold, materials and time to finish it, but he was ever mindful of the worldwound, when the fall happened of one of the towns he set off, armor in place and Mask in his bags. There would be retribution, revenge and the Hellknights would march forward to defend the world from Chaos.
There will be blood.

I remember always being close to my parents, but more than that I remember seeing people walking amongst the adherents of the godclaw. Sometimes they would touch a persons shoulder and they would turn and be off as if they had somewhere to be. Other times you could see some of the Hellknights in the Sanctuary and if you were not looking closely or didn't know what to look at you wouldn't notice them crying, that was until one of the Men or Women touched them, that always stopped them.
They talked to me sometimes, told me about the Worldwound, told me that someday I would hear the call and I would go, though the Lady looked sad when she said it. The Dwarf, he told me to start saving up and making my armor, that it would one day be key in something. They never really spoke of that again, though they talked to me and when little would play games with me, the Man in Red, he always took an interest in me, and always gave me advice to get out of something with a loophole that they should have seen. I liked him alot, though I liked the older man the most. The Monk, he always said things that caused me to think, and always it was deeper than I would understand sometimes for fortnights would I wrestle with what I heard, sometimes only for days.

What do you want, really really want, I'll tell you what i want really really want:

There is a feat that saw and can share with you, its called Apotheosis, one day I want the character to directly meed the Pantheon of Gods and for one of them to admit that when this is over I have what it takes to be a God. I really want to see Darsanga made into some kind of Hellknight God. Though most likely he will be LE and the God of Vengeance for the Hellknight orders. Thats what I feel >.> <.< not sure if thats something you can work with though.

Be sure to read not only the background section but the mythic section to better get an idea about the character.

Alrighty, I'm still spellchecking for typo's etc. Adding a bit here and there but I think the gist is finished for his background.

If you wanna short TLDR version-
grew up in a fairly normal happy family, but had depression of sorts, demon comes to small village, slaughters most people, almost kills him. following limbo reinforces his rather dark outlook on life and the end but chooses to fight against that. Travels and trains with his steed (at which is a fairly grown horse by the time he joins the Hellknights). He is 22 now, so its been 7 years since his incident, he sends some of his earnings back home to mom and sis.

Cool. I was curious. Hellknights are actually pretty freaking cool. I've never really looked at 'em until now. But I think I saw a wizard/rogue submission(or something to that nature that stirred my curiosity) and was wondering how a gestalt class like that is gonna work in full plate armor. So that's the main reason I asked.

Chakat Hellstrider
Born in one of the more recluse parts of Cheliax. She grew up a bit separate from the mechanics of what the country was about. Till they came. Hellknights. Black clad. Mounted terrors. Her small community shuddered in fear of these knights. Astride their more so terrifying mounts. But not her. No. She somehow marveled at them. They seemed to radiate authority. Regal beyond her field of knowledge. That when she decided to be one of them. Join them. Gain the same admiration she was feeling at that point.
So she trained. Almost every minute she had free time from her daily chores. Using sticks. Branches. Lids. Anything to further her skill with a lance. She trained. Obstacles. Anything.
When she finally came of age, she set out to join a garrison. The Eddean Star. Yes.
Cavalier. She was going to be one of them. Her natural talents soon had her the position she craved. She joined them. For Cheliax!

Now they ride for the Worldwound. Demons, and other creature of the Abyss will be faced. She is ready to do her part. Not just for her order and her country, but for all. Law and order will be braught to these spawns of chaos. None will escape her lance.
