ok guys we all need to take a step back here and remember that our characters are evil, not us. What you guys are talking about is a special kind of evil.

Huh? that doesn't make sense. Oh, what here's the problem.

I know what all these words mean but strung together like this, they are confusing me. Could you explain?
A friendly reminder that tomorrow I'll be leaving to Waco for two weeks, then Gencon. I should have internet access in the hotel (but I find that's not a guarantee, bad experiences). I'll post as able, but I don't have a laptop so it'll be from my iPad or phone. As far as maps go, I numbered a couple coffins, just count around clockwise if I need one. I'll need you guys to manipulate the maps if I am able to post.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and if I don't have access, I'll see you all in three weeks!

Hey folks-
One of the games I'm in has lost a couple of it's members. What's left is me and two pretty impressive players and a new GM with a gift for description/immersion (he's still working out the kinks of how he wants to run combat, but he's learning fast)
We need a player or two, and since you folks are my favorite players on the boards I thought I'd offer you the chance to join first.
The game is a classic horror story set on a small isolated island country populated by dwarves (the nation has a bit of a Grecian feel to it)
Right now the party consists of 2 Lore Warden fighters and a Rogue, all dwarves.
Anyone interested? If so, go ahead and jump right into the Discussion thread. Ask any questions you like.

@ Xanos: Got any links?
Oh and You may be seeing one of my characters in the future if you stick with Chainmail's game. I'm on Team Dwarf.
@ Everyone: Well, I think I've managed to put myself into a right fine dilemma. I can either roleplay Gwyn, someone who is terrified of the thing coming out of the crypt, because she's never seen anything like that before, or play the class and break character. One has be back-pedaling into Price, and the other has me weaving around to try and flank the beastie. Which would you rather me do? I feel like an ass doing the first, but I feel like I've broken all of the (admittedly not so consistent) character development up until now.
Sorry, but I'd rather everyone have fun, and I'm not sure which would be better.
I say roll play her. Xanos is built to make undead his beotchs, and Cain and Teon can block the way and Shulme and Price and support from behind. As long as you use the chance to develop the character so that in the futer sh eis not running from all the dead beasties, we should be fine.
Brain freeze, but the way we do initiative in this game is that as long as your initiative is before the good guy, you go before it without regards to order with the other players. The same for if you are after the goody. Am I right?

So... I can see and move the tokens on the map, but other than that I see nothing but a grey background, no walls, room, background etc. Any idea what setting I must have accidentally messed up? :p
Not certain. The map does take awhile to load at this point, the size and all. What browser do you use, if I may ask? Should work fine on chorme. I personally use interent explorer with chrome frame at home.

IE. I will check if the problem persists on a different computer when I get a chance. I can do this tomorrow morning and will post IC then (I'd just like to check if I can get the map to work before I post).

I couldn't get the background to show. So I moved the token, hopefully Shulme is not now standing in the middle of a wall.
If he is... well... your feeble human understanding clearly cannot grasp the cosmic truths revealed by such movement. And since this is so, someone should reposition the token to avoid the party's collective minds breaking under the assault of impossible physical realities and truths beyond human comprehension.
Updated gameplay. I'll be leaving for Gencon tomorrow morning and don't really expect to have the free time to post while gone at present (doesn't mean it won't, just don't expect it).
Thanks all! And back from the Con. Actually got back last night, but tried going down the list to update games, finally getting to here. Shoulda done 'em first, but hindsight's a pain. I'll be posting an update momentarily.

Okay I just had a wicked idea. Gwyn rushes up to Sir Elond and 'throws herself at his mercy.' Assuming the Bluff works, she replaces his kidneys with hamburger while he's fighting the rest of you.
Of course this also assumes that the GM let's me redo my supposed-to-be-surprise-round actions.
Go ahead and take reasonable set up options. Since I saw Cain opening the door, and knew I was about to leave for work, I wanted to get the Inish post up quick. So yea, Teon can go ahead and have had Enlarge Person cast for example. And place yourselves in an appropriate order.

I am still seeing the tokens and a whole bunch of grey where the map background would be, so it would be helpful to me if someone could post a quick screenie of the map to show where the walls are.
mmmm.... i don't have a way to host it, but i could screen and email it to you if that works for you. Id just need your addy. If someone has a better way, that's fine, too.
Sorry Shulme, not sure how to do that. I did move tokens to what I though made the most sense. If anyone does not like that, no biggie, move it where you want it. Cain and Gwyn are at the second door, the rest of us in the hallway behind, until Xanos and his undead, from that point on, they are in the coffin room.
