“The small village of Chamarel has been beset upon by something strange and deadly. People have been going missing from their homes seemingly without a trace. Defiantly the citizens of this place stay as it is all they have ever known. The duke of the demesne however is none too happy with the workforce disappearing. Low morale and missing bodies is never good for revenue. So he has set a large reward for any group or person willing to put a stop to this problem. This is where your crew comes in. An adventuring group that has been together for a short time decides to take on this task. It might be for this large reward, or for the challenge or maybe the greater good. For whatever reason, this band of adventurers is ready for what is to pass.”

Adventuring parties
Diaz: Human, Head of a rival adventuring group, from a noble household to the east of Chamarel. Took offence to comments on his height.
Ingrid: Human, Diaz's sister, took an interest to Sventon, looked to be a decent Magus.
Hin: Human, A silent hunter, unable to speak but not due to choice.
Ali: Human, Diaz's brother, not much is known about him but when the group met him he had a pack of alchemical ingredients with him.

Innkeepers
Beltzer: Half-orc, The innkeeper to the Rum Runner, looks to have been an adventurer or soldier himself at one time. Prides himself on his stories and knowledge of the local area.
Solstin: Human, The innkeeper to the Nosso Lar, he took in Chara after her parents died. Chara was working for him up until recently.

Locals
Varis: Half-elf, a relatively friendly man who took matters about the disappearances into his own hands. He tried to aid Misha and Flint into finding out more about a spire in town. Hides a lot about his past and what he might have been involved in.
Lionel: Elf, a successful bounty hunter, Varis was once one of his bounties but for some reason they are now friends.
Korina: Catfolk, a frail old woman who is one of the towns local clerics. She knows Betlzer quite well and was an adventurer who used to do tasks in the local area before becoming to aged to do anything more.
Ruber and Clarissa: Human and Halfling, a Blacksmith and one of his assistances working in the halfling quarter of town.
Betina: Halfling, one of those taken from her home by the man-in-white.

Friends:
Chara: Human, a young girl who yearns for adventure. Left her home with Brice and his crew to get back some of her friends who were captured. The team failed however and she was nearly killed. Since she worked in an in before with her adoptive father Solstin she is an decent cook and has tagged along with the group.
Brice: Human, The leader of an adventuring group that was torn to pieces by a Siren. The party saved him and left him in the care of Korina. Within the caverns there is a herb that could heal him.

Misha & Flint: Elf and Human, an adventuring pair that tried to have Varis set up an ambush.

The mansion
Snow: Dragon(?), a previous occupant of the manor. Seemed to have grown up there. Was good friends with Dragash
Klaus: Human, The master of the house, an accomplished spellcaster and rich. Capable of powerful magic and rituals.
Dragash: Human, Son to Klaus. Friend of snow's.
Qanikcir: ?, a contact of Klaus, distraught by the loss of her ally she has vowed to catch the man-in-white.

Enemies
The man-in-white: A mysterious man that is believed to be the cause of many of the disappearances around town.
