Campaign Rules:
1. Ability Scores: You can roll up your character the traditional way using either the 20 point buy method or using the "heroic" dice rolling method described on page 15 of the Core Rule Book. Just in case you don't know, that is roll 2d6+6 for each ability score. You may roll these offline using the honour system. Please keep your entire character sheet updated under your alias. To get there you simply log into paizo and click your name link next to welcome XXXXX above. This is for easy reference for the players and me.
2. HP: will be max at 1st level and every level after that you will need to roll your HD type once and any roll below 1/2 gets bumped to 1/2. This will need to be online in the discussion forum using the online die rolling tools.
3. Posting rules: have already been discussed but I will put them here:
Must post once every 24 hours
No posting during role play just means your character chooses to NOT speak or contribute.
No posting during combat will result in a "delay" action unless it affects party safety.
4. Posting in the game play thread should be done "in character" using the following conventions
Use bold for dialogue: I say to the merchant Do you have this in pink?
Use italics for inner thoughts: Hrm. Gregor the fighter is going to give himself an aneurism.
Use regular font for ooc which should be kept to 1 sentence or less in this thread: I will delay here till Gregor does his intimidate check.
Use asterisk for actions: *charges into battle*
5. Maps and Movement: I will post maps with column letters and row numbers. In battle please refer to which grid you are talking about/attacking/moving to or through and so on. There will be a "fog of war" in effect for areas you cannot see.
6. Background: As part of your character sheet, please create a "known background" for your character. We will be starting in Absalom and I will assume that each of you knows each other so please create the backstory of how you came to know each other. If there are any details you wish to keep hidden from the rest of the party please send them to me through email.
7. Money: Starting wealth is the default average for your character class described on page 140 of the core rule book.
8. Traits: Please select any 2 traits from 2 different categories as described in:
