I'm not sure if you want the checks here or in the game play thread, so I'm putting them here and if you want I'll re-roll them there. . I'm hoping to be able to try and identify the symbol or the spell as a move action and fire it at someone as my standard action.

In that case, I will ask Severus to maneuver himself so he isn't between Mel and the cannon. (Holding onto it via levitation or just turn his body would be fine, since I assume the cannon extends pretty much right to Mel) Get Mel's attention and ask her to drop her guard so I can heal her, and then shoot her, as oxymoronic as the statement seems.
Just as a general note - since Severus has left the game, can we please have him fall off the back of the sled dead like the other people that have left?

I have a solution for the Severus thing. Our sled is going right by Sir Loric. As we drive past, have Severus dive out and tackle Sir Loric so they start fighting. Cool story-wise and takes 'em both out of the race.

Dang it, I thought I posted. Do one of the beasts look more injured than the other? Both doing pretty bad? Pretty good?
I was considering the options and was thinking about perhaps readying an action to hit after they attacked each other again, that way he could get another action in right after and keep himself from garnering their attention right off the bat.

Zarzan, you're not much of an expert on animals, but it looks like what these two are doing is actually more of a display of dominance than a real fight. There's lots of headbutting, pushing and hitting, but little real damage. If you had to pick one that seemed to be losing it would be the one closest to you.

Gwrr, you have a choice. Crawling onto the sled will probably dislodge the kangaroo. You can risk it, or be dragged. If you choose to be dragged give me another climb check. ALso, DC 13 reflex save to avoid taking 3 splash damage from fire.

DM DH, could you possibly use different color squares on the map for the snowflake squares and the fire squares? This assumes that the icons are visible to us while we drive, which is I think the case.
Also, can I choose to hit the ramp and not increase my speed/drive difficulty? For example, if Chess uses aid another on me and I take 10 I can reach a 14 DC with no roll. Or if he does something else I can reduce my speed to 45 and take 10 and not have to roll. If I do that and go over a ramp, does it do anything?
