I just had some friends over to play Artemis, which is always fun. Actually, scratch that. I had some friends over for my RL LoF game, but there were two no-shows, so we played Artemis instead. A little less awesome when I put it that way.
I think it's another week before mine, too, not that it matters to me. I'm not in any classes, so the only difference is that there's less traffic around campus.
Hit a bit of a busy snag at work. We have a new CEO (keep it hush, nobody is supposed to know) who signed a 4 year contract recently. He has previously been the CEO of Starbucks and Walmart, so we have all sorts of new job responsibilities and procedures and all that jazz. Keeping us very busy and watching us closely; more so now that one of my 4 immediate coworkers was suspended for breach of policy and another has had a sick child for nearly 2 weeks. Since I primarily post from my work PC, my Paizo time has been dwindling fast and I'm finding it difficult to sneak in posts here and there. Hopefully once the transition is over things will ease up considerably.
Not necessarily difficult; I've just moved up to the average person's work-load when I used to being a glorified security guard and operator with lots of down-time puncuated with brief stints of being incredibly busy. I suppose most people don't get to spend part of their work shift posting on forums. CWS is going to suck this year. My goal is to get something posted in ALL of my games by tomorrow evening since Wednesday is my day off work and I'll lack reliable internet connectivity at home (I have a Kindle Fire, which is fine for browsing the boards, but not condusive to typing).
I'm kind of surprised that I haven't learned to fly yet. All flying really is is falling in the wrong direction. I'm good at falling. I'm good at doing things wrong. What's the hold up?
