Chuffy, realizing he's still holding his dogslicer, ignores the burning desnan candle in his hand and instead swipes the blade at the large amphibian.
Reta a little weaker now swings her dogslicer with what is left of her might.

Deciding it's likely best to remain in the fight longer, Poog steps away from the swarm and uses the wand of Not Be Dead on himself.

Poog's dogslicer slams into the rat swarm killing a few of the rats but not dealing as much damage as it looked like at the swarm flows back over itself as quickly as it was injured. Poog steps back and uses the wand on himself closing his wounds.
Chuffy drops the candle as he stabs his sharp blade into the frog. The frog looks to be quite wounded and gasping for breath as Reta slashes her dogslicer at the beast, hitting the main mast instead.

Vorka hurls a flam at Mogmurch from the palm of her hand but misses him as the tiny ball of fire strike a nearby table.
The rat swarm hurls itself against Poog and Reta
Lord Longtongue is commanded to bite Chuffy per Vorka's instructions but the frog does not seem to be listening as it stares intently at the goblin.

Reata chugs down a cure light wounds potion, and takes another swipe at the toad.
Arrgg....One AGAIN.
Poog slices at the rats as they continue to attack him.
Hoping the others will finish off the giant toad, he fires steps away from the rats again and belches fire at the crazed goblin on the ceiling using his elixir of fire breath.

Poog slams his dogslicer into the swarm as they attack him, killing a few more rats as he releases a gout of flames all over the rats.
The rats are all consumed in a fiery inferno as their shrieks begin to fade back to silence.

"Die, die, DIE! You stupid froggy!" Chuffy screams as he takes another swing at Lord Longtongue.
Mogmurch prays to all of the goblin gods he knows of and fires once again at the giant toad.
Fire continues to smolder in Poog's eyes as he looks for another target.

Mogmurch slams a bolt into the frog's head dropping it to the ground as blood leaks from it's exposed eye's as Chuffy swings and misses the now dead frog.
Reta steps back and drinks her potion as her wounds mend shut.
Vorka's face contorts as Lord Longtongue falls. Lord Longtongue! I WILL KILL YOU! I WILL KILL YOU ALL!
Vorka hurls another small ball of flame at Mogmurch as the flames disappear from her palm. The small ball of flame strikes the deck right in front of Mogmurch.

Poog unleashes another spout of flame from his mouth, this time aimed at the insane goblin on the ceiling.
Reta breathes a sigh of relief and walks over to the crazed goblins body. She slashes the smoldering corpse several times. "Reta hate goblin eaters"
Poog swallows the last of the elixir of fire breathing on accident as smoke pours from his mouth and nose.
"We beat cannibal goblin!!! We beat monster toad! We beat rats! We beat dogs! We beat horse! We beat spider! We best goblins EVAAARRR!!! Me best leader of goblins EVAAAAAARRRRR!!!"
Poog does a happy dance while he searches for anything goblins might value, as well as fireworks.
"Good job, goblins!!!"
Reta retrieves her bow before helping with the search
Mogmurch picks up any non-broken quarrels for the crossbow and asks Poog, "Stick of Not Be Dead be real good for Mogmurch... Pleaze?"

As Chuffy rummages through the room and Vorka's body he finds 2 potions, a scimitar and 6 darts on Vorka.
About the room Chuffy finds a bejeweled
silver and jade lantern built to look like a coiled dragon
worth 150 gp, a dozen masterwork shuriken, an ivory
and gold fan depicting a gecko walking amid cherry
blossoms worth 80 gp (the reverse side of this fan has
been used by Vorka to draw a crude map of Brinestump,
not unlike the one Scribbleface created, and contains a
secret that the goblins are unlikely to decipher anytime
soon), a long hairpin with a red pearl at one end worth
150 gp, a wand, and an elixir of love in a crystal vial shaped like a
heart (the vial itself is worth 50 gp).
In a red chest, seems to be unlocked in the NW corner of the cabin Chuffy finds The fireworks in the chest consist of 14 Desnan candles, 20 paper candles, and seven skyrockets. This seems to be the fireworks that you were sent out to find!
"OOOOOOOHHHHHHHH shiny." Reta at the treasure. She puts her finger to her chin and sticks her tongue out of the side of her mouth. Then as if coming to a conclusion says "Reta wants elixir. Definitely wants the elixir. Reta has a plan."
Poog smacks any of the injured on the head with the wand of Not Be Dead.
He examines the items they have found to see if he can tell what they do. He casts detect magic, as well.
"We take fireworks and treasure and go home! We be heroes!!!"
"Still one place to search for goodies. What is behind the other door?"
"Okay, you check. Rest of you, grab treasure and we go back after Reta done."
Poog continues doing his happy dance, and his overly large head nearly makes him fall over.
Reta moves to the door and readies her dogslicer. "When I open the door, if there is anything in there, Mogmurch you throw bomb. Then I charge what ever creepy crawly thing. And Chuffy you move to flank. Ok. Ready and..." As soon as the others are ready Reta opens the door.

As you make your way to the final room.
This room is a blood-splattered chamber of horror. Dead
rodents, snakes, and birds have been variously nailed, tied,
and hung around the walls. At the far end of the room, a large
cauldron bubbles over an iron stove set against the aft wall, its
stovepipe chimney extending up through the ceiling. A bloody
burlap sack sits on the floor next to the stove. The center of the
room contains a long, rickety table surrounded by chairs that
contain several grisly decorations—a whole family of skeletal
goblins, their bones bleached white and bound together by
reeds and twine. In one cauldron is a heart and the left arm of a goblin stewing and sticking out of a burlap sack in the corner is a uniquely branded face of a goblin that you recognize, Scribbleface! He must have returned for is fireworks. It just goes to show how writing words can, in the end, only bring you bad luck.
Standing in the center of the room growling and barking is a hulking, rheumy-eyed, lumbering cur bigger than most goblins.

Reta waits for Mogmurch to throw his bomb.
Poog thought he had accidentally swallowed the last of the elixir of fire breath, but it came back violently now like bad food coming back up.
He did manage to aim the fiery belch at the hulking cur.
"Woooo!!! We kill more dogs! We kill them with fire!!!" says Poog as he lives the goblin fantasy.
Poog begins to search the room for anything valuable.
"Gross, even for goblins," Poog says as he looks at Scribbleface's body. "Teach him not to read. Let us take treasure, go home!"
Poog starts heading out after gathering everything he can carry.

You manage to drag all of the fireworks back to the village without accidentally setting them off or using them. As the party approaches the village they are suddenly greeted as heroes. A large feast is created in their honor to where his Mighty Girthness Chief Rendwattle Gutwad announces, through Slorb of course. Chief say Chuffy great hero! Chuffy will now marry Chief Gutwad's daughter-the fearsomely corpulent and ferociously lusty Gupy Wartbits! The announcement brings about a great cheer from the crowd.
The rest of the heroes will get big prize also. Poog will get title of Boss of Big Fire; Reta get title of Overseer of Village Stabbings and Mogmurch get title of Master of Pig Pit.
After looking over all of the loot that the goblins returned to the village they are called back to the chief's hut where an advisor points out that the fan from Vorka's hut that they returned has strange symbols and images scribbled all over the back of it. (This sets into motion a series of events that will have repurcussions far beyond Brinestump Marsh, in the distant land of Minkai, which takes place in the Jade Reagent AP)
