Hello all, and WELCOME!!
We will be running the entire We Be Goblins Series, and we will be trying to get as many of these games registered for Gameday Credit as possible so good posting habits and attention to detail will help everyone! However, I will not be sacrificing quality for quantity and will strive to keep a good pace while still keeping an eye towards quality and fun for all of the zany acts of mayhem and destruction caused by our favorite goblins.
If you have not already done so (Shame on you for not following directions!!) Please visit my profile page and take a gander at some of my expectations for both myself and for my players. If there is anything that you wish to add or discuss, now would be the time to get some clarification.
Character selection:
You will choose between the 4 pregenerated characters presented by the WBG series: Chuffy Lickwound, Poog, Mogmurch, and Rita Bigbad. The character sheets for the first game Can Be Found Here. Each game, you will have a new character sheet provided. If you wish to mix things up and play different characters you may do so but that will all be handled by you and between you. I hope that I don't have to step in for any adjudication.. there are 4 games and 4 characters and 4 players. I think, hope, and pray we can all be adults here.
Progress/Reporting:

We Be Goblins Too: Lvl 3
We Be Goblins Free: Lvl 4
I will ask at the end of each game for the reporting information for the character you wish to receive credit.

Please keep in contact with your fellow players and myself if anything comes up. This can be as simple as a one liner in discussion or a full PM/Email. Considering the problems with the boards recently, I am now providing my Google information so that I can still keep in touch with my players. A few expectations specific to this game series:
*Please create an alias with the name of your character so that I am not trying to guess who is who.
*Please dot in on the gameplay tab, then immediately delete the post. This "ninja" post will make the game show up in your campaign tab without unnecessary clutter.
*This is a fun and zany adventure that gives you an opportunity for some incredible roleplaying. Take advantage of it!! Normally I do not mind OOC conversation, spoilers, and the like.. but this time I am going to have to request that if you are not speaking in character then take it to the discussion tab. I will be setting the tone for that, and we will all love it the more we all play along!

Ok.. So in the interests of killing some time, tell me a little about yourselves and your RP history! Include as much or as little as you feel like. No judgement here!
I will start.
I started Roleplaying in the late 90's, when my uncle introduced my brother and I to AD+D through the DragonLance Chronicles. I had been a voracious reader of sci-fi and fantasy prior to this, and had heard of D+D but never got the opportunity to experience it. Little did he know that he would be the catalyst for a life long addiction! Since then, I DM'd and played sporadically whenever I had the chance. When I wasn't able to play, I played RPG type video games of any sort and read everything I could get my hands on. I will read just about anything, but fantasy keeps my imagination going and provides me with my escape from reality.
About 4 years ago, I started a new job after a cross country move and one of my coworkers introduced me to Pathfinder. I had walked away from D+D during the 3.0/3.5 time, and he convinced me to join him for a game. Within a very short time, I was playing PbP regularly and meeting up with his home group whenever schedules permitted. I am now a 2 star GM (Within the last month!), and play mostly online due to my home schedule preventing most table games. I do occasionally get a game of Savage Worlds homebrew in, but not often enough to really be comfortable with the rule set.
Personally, I am a Father and a Husband, and I work roughly 60-70+ hours a week. Both of my jobs are night shift, so almost all of my posting is opposite of normal U.S. posting cycles. I frequently have to travel for Dr. appointments for the wifey, but when I expect these events to interfere with my posting, I will let you know when and how. During my travels, I try to get a post a day in, but that is not always possible. Due to my work schedules and different types of work, Mondays are my turn around day, and I often am not able to post until around 3-5 am Tues mornings.

I have been playing some version of DnD since 1979, but really it all started for me with AD&D in 1981.
Since then I have played many different games, from DnD and Marvel, to Shadowrun(one of my favorite genres!) and Cthulu. I didn't just limit myself to roleplaying games either, as I had plenty of board game and miniature battle games experience too. I simply loved gaming in all forms. When I think back, my family loved board games when I was little so I think that likely helped me form my love for games.
During all this time till now, I met my wife, by best friends, started a family, had a career, owned a game store, sold a game store, focused on raising my kids, watched them grow up into wonderful adults, and experienced too many wildly uncommon things to mention here other than to say my life has been an interesting and amazing adventure all on its own.
I only found PFS back in season 6 and just started PbP at the end of last year but I am a big fan of both.
As for my posting schedule, it varies but my business is very flexible so I often can post throughout the day and since I am a night owl, the late night, early mornings.
All that said, I look forward to gaming with you all as this should be incredibly fun.

I've been playing computer roleplaying games since the original Playstation came out. I grew up in an area where D&D was a guaranteed path to hell. So I didn't have any chance to play.
I started playing 4th Edition in a home game with my husband's family about four years ago, and played PFS at PAX Prime the same year. I met some local players and they encouraged me to join the local PFS group. I only get to play in person about once a month.
I discovered the PBP boards about a year and a half ago, and haven't looked back since. I'm about to earn my first GM star with a combination of PBP and in person games.
Since Paizocon is a local convention I've been able to attend the last three years, and enjoyed it very much. That one takes a bit of negotiation on the family front to get to attend all four days.
I did a Podcast about the game Lord of the Rings Online until early this year. I keep trying to get the guys on the network to let me record them playing a tabletop RPG, but it isn't working.

We play A LOT of board games with our friends, as it is so much easier to agree on a board game as opposed to which RP rule set we want to play. My wife and I hope to be buying a house as soon as we can after her next surgery, and one of my "Must Haves" is a dedicated library/game room so that 1) the herd of massively overfilled bookshelves can be corralled into one location, and 2) so I can build a table that can accommodate the various games and the number of people we entertain! I keep trying to convince her that this would be a great way to use the master bedroom she wants, but I keep getting dirty looks. :-D
Glad to have you, Carimac! I saw your posting for Shades of Ice, but unfortunately I have both played and GM'd that one all the way through. There are some interesting things about updating that for current use and some streamlining for PbP that you will have to do. Its not difficult, but does take some attention. I hope to play for you one of these days!
Hey all, sorry,I've had a rather exhaustive week...
I also started my tabletop gaming back in the late 90's and had a dedicated group of my high school friends that lasted until I went off to college in 2000. I started off with 2nd Edition D&D. Once in college I met another group of great folks that I gamed with for a while and we did a mixture of 2E and then 3.0/3.5 until we all split and went off to our own lives. I've been primarily online gaming since 2006 when I found plothook.net and then the wonder forums here!
Over the years I've played most of the editions of D&D (nothing earlier than 2E though), Pathfinder, Vampire Masquarade, Alternity, Window game system, a little bit of Shadowrun, Star Wars SAGA, d20 Modern, and a few of the LotR tabletop games.
I'm a big fan of computer games (Neverwinter Nights are some of my favorites, but also the Baldur's Gates).
I found PFS in the early stages of Pathfinder, but a military deployment put a stopper on that for a while.
As far as my personal life, I am also a father and husband. For work, I'm a deputy sheriff and as such work odd hours. We work a 4 on, 2 off schedule that alternates each week between day shifts and afternoon shifts. So, my days off change every single week.

Faelyn: Rock on and stay safe out there! It looks like we have very similar backgrounds and interests. One of the first RPG type computer games I fell head over heels for was the Baldurs gate series. (Btw, I just recently found it available on Steam :-)) Now I play the Oblivion series on both my computer and Xbox, as well as a bunch of other throwbacks.
I never really strayed too far from D+D with my roleplaying though. Vampire Masquerade had one hell of an ugly rep around here, and was pretty much taboo for anyone that didn't want to get kicked out of their house and shunned. Paizo was my first experience with online role playing like this.. and I keep finding more resources out there every day.. I wish I had found this years ago!

I've always wanted to get into the Elder Scrolls series and I got to play some them (Oblivion and Morrowwind) during a little downtime during my deployment, but never really seemed to find the time when I got back.
As for Vampire Masquerade, we didn't do any of the LARPing stuff, just tabletop. This was back in the late 90's and the area where I lived at the time... well let's just say we likely would have been chased into the river lol. That and I never really quite got into the LARP'ing thing myself.

I am going to be trying something new here. Normally I link in a spreadsheet for you to add your information to for reporting purposes, but I am going to try out a form and see if that makes any difference.
Please follow this link and fill out the reporting information for the 1st or 2nd level character that you wish to assign credit for this game.
In addition, I would like to touch on posting frequency and times for a brief moment. Both of my jobs are night shift, so my posting schedule is quite opposite of most people on here. Friday-Sun nights I am sitting in front of a computer and post prolifically through the night. The rest of the week though, I do not have access to a computer and my posts are either early afternoon or very early morning (3-5am CST). That being said, I will generally post 7 days a week, but please forgive me for the occasional lapse where I get home and pass out.
In order for us to get as many of these games in under the wire for gameday, we will need to post frequently and push the story from both the player and the GM sides. I will be expecting at least a post a day through most of the week from everyone. (I do realize not everyone can live on the boards and that life happens, but an attempt at 5/7 days is preferable.) While doing this, please keep in mind my requirements for post quality as well. We can move fast, but still maintain quality!
I filled out the form, but I had to put a few TBDs in there for chronicle number and starting gold, prestige etc... I can do it again when we are closer to the start date if you like.

I will get the form filled out over the next few days. I'm trying to figure out a new PC to secure the Chronicle sheets. I'm thinking about making a Halfling Beast Rider Cavalier so that I can take full advantage of a certain Boon that is associated with these scenarios. :)

Just as a side note, there are several scenarios that offer a bit of PvP to go with the story line.. it's a pleasant surprise, and never fails to astonish the table when these occurances come up!

Hey all, I am uninjured (minus a few minor scratches and abrasions) and back into things. Been very busy with work this weekend and an unruly toddler so I've been slowly getting caught up with all my games. Thanks for the well-wishes! Now... Chuffy need to sticks something and burn more things!
I am sorry you had the force on force in the first place. I am relieved to hear you are uninjured and only have minor abrasions. Phew!
I know you couldn't list any details but the imagination lends itself to a variety of things that could have happened, and even if your physically ok, I and everyone here realize there is more than just that to being ok. I am glad you have an unruly toddler to help with the stress as they are priceless helpers.

I have been having computer troubles, and this is the first time I have been able to log in since this weekend on the work computers. I do apologize for this interruption. I have made progress with the software, but will be tearing apart the hardware tonight.

nope. Dogslicer would be just about the most prevalent goblin weapon. This is mainly for those without dogslicers up to this point, I would assume.

Geez, I'm very glad to hear that you made it through the ordeal without injury, GM! Take all the time you need. Things such as that can be quite traumatic, even when you've been through the things we both have, when you are not expecting it. Be safe!
