Mysty |
Thanks for the clear up aku. It's appreciated.
And hello to hound. Another pkayer is always welcome, and a thumper type is always handy.
Mysty |
Rogues always like fighter types. They are excellent meat shields to hide behind, excellent to flank with, don't usually think much allowing the rogue to do the plans. If only the loveable lunks could move a bit quieter.
:D
Seren Little |
No complaints from me. though it was a little sad when he flexed his pecs, I mean Rose can outlift you and shes not exactly huge, going to have to try harder if that's your plans to woo the ladies. :P
Nahia |
I'm cool with it. Looking forward to seeing what backstory you bring!
Also, flexing your pecs at me is just going to make me think you might be good slave material. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing, mind you...
Seren Little |
Also this is my check in for the day. Not really all that much to do for me atm until everyone arrives back at the Inn, though if only I were with Rose. That scene would become a lot more violent really quickly...
Nahia |
@Hound, Check the gameplay section, there are several summaries and links to other posts describing various rules.
Also, here is another summary from the last time we added new players: Link
@Seren, feel free to come investigate the singing. : )
Seren Little |
I might, but also working nights atm, so I had to post, but my bed is calling in the biggest way imaginable atm. Will post something later on today.
Lady Rose |
Rose's strength comes from inhuman ancestry, not bulgy muscles. She could flex her pecs, it would just bounce... other things.
Hound |
Okay, got the crunch and backstory done. Hound's role is to kill the heck out of anything that tries to get near, if that thing tries to stay away, he will eventually pounce the heck out of it. His Keen Scent makes him a good guardian.

Background
The boy who became Hound was born in the savage north of Talingarde, although his memories are beginning to fade so he does not know exactly, and what does it matter? He was born in the north with his clan. His people hunted, warred with other clans or traded with them, sometimes they even traded with the beastfolk of the north and at times inter-bred with them hence the touch of orc in Hound's veins.
As a boy, Hound had little time for play, his play was training for the time when he would take up a man's duties and so he watched other's bring in food and when they warred, sometimes they brought in captives who were placed upon the shamen's altar and sacrificed to the gods of the north.
Perhaps this is why the armored men on their horses came. They rode down the men with shining blades and armor and burned the shaman atop his altar with his apprentice. They didn't kill everyone, Hound and the other children were deemed 'savable' and taken south and put in an orphanage where they would be taught to be proper people.
Hound was devestated, but he was determined to survive and in his foolish youth thought he could lead the others back north and start again, but one by one the other children fell away. The youngest were easiest, being convinced by good food and kind words. The others got the rod whenever they spoke their own tongue and were cowed into obediance, and Hound's rage grew as his dream withered, and then he was alone and then the clerics came to him with the rod and demanded he obey.
Then the dream died and there was only rage.
The red haze ended and he found himself surrounded by the bodies of the teachers and covered in their blood, a hatchet in his hands, he didn't have any rage left when the soldiers beat him down and dragged him away calling him a beast for slaying those who just wanted to save his soul.
The boy who was born in the north then cast aside his name for that one was dead along with his people. All that remained was 'Hound' who now sought to bring the same agony of loss to those who brought it to him. He has no illusions that he will die, perhaps even before the next Mitrian dies by his hands, but he will still make that effort.

Vote Resume:
Mysty: Was amazed by Hound nice muscles and charming smile, thus she voted yes.
Seren: See to big one, flexing his muscles and is disappointed. In her mind, he sees a rotting carcass, putrid flesh, bones exposed. Felling happy, she voted yes.
Nahia: Sees a potential slave, to satisfy her every need. Thus, she voted yes.
Fausto: Think: A meat shield! Thus, he voted yes.
@Hound
Welcome :)
You can opt for Focus and Foible (Roll once), if you don’t like the result, you can change to 25 pt.
Hp is: Max at first level, the others are rolled.
As rule, whenever you want to learn something with your char, it would be good if you RP that development inside the game.
Lady Rose |
Given that Hound and Rose worked together in our previous game (which doesn't exist in this story), we were going to come up with a way that they knew each other previously so we could maintain the camaraderie we'd already built up.
Orphans with questionable morals are prime targets for Cardinal Thorn's recruitment, so it's entirely possible that Hound has worked for Thorn for years (after rescuing him from prison after his killing spree).
GM, any thoughts on integrating Hound into the campaign backstory?
Hound |
Chose 25 point buy. Will work on getting his stat line and so on set up. How much monies do I get for equipment?
DM Aku |
@Hound
Hey, how are you again? :D
I was looking at your crunch, and there are some things I want to note about it.
First: I liked that you don’t dumped any status! It’s rare to see that.
Second: Your gold count seems to be a little off. You should have 269 gp instead of 209 gp.
Also, can you set up a status bar as the other players?
Female Changeling Witch 4 [HP 24/24 | AC:14 | T:12 | FF:12 | CMD:13 | Fort:+3 | Ref:+4 | Will:+7 | Init:+2 | Per:+2 | Sense Motive:+2 | Bluff:+16 (+2 sexy bonus) | Diplomacy:+7 | Spellcraft:+10]
Hp, ac, saves, int and perception are mandatory. The others one you can put anything you find it relevant for your char. :)
Lady Rose |
The 'sexy bonus' is clearly the most important thing in any character's stat bar. :)
Nahia |
There is definitely a debate going on about if bust size should also be included...
Lady Rose |
That's boring. Who wants just one mistress?
Nahia |
You know, I was about to argue, but it kind of works for all definitions of Mistress.
So carry on. : )
Mysty |
Hey, I took some of the loot, potion of bulls str and a potion of blur and blue whinnis poison. If anyone has any objections to that, I can put them back. BTW who updates the loot sheet?
Nahia |
Technically, we all can, but I've been doing it primarily.
And I don't have a problem with that, but it needs to be identified first, which is more a matter of time than anything.
Mysty |
Potions can be id'd through a simple spellcraft roll, from memory. Between you, me, fausto and seren, all spellcasters, I think identifying these potions is not a problem.
Time is the issue, but not a lot of it really.
It is also possible, indeed likely, that as these were for sale, they have been labeled
Nahia |
As far as the skill rolls go, this is true, but still takes some time. I just don't like to assume that things are done until it has been stated that they are in game.
However, the label thing is spot on. Good one!
Lady Rose |
She did it. I guess that means I have to also. >.<
Hound |
34DD? My goodness! How can you ever stand upright?
Hmm..Wonder what a 6'8" man's chest would be around.
Lady Rose |
It's not as big as it sounds. Google it.
Lady Rose |
Rose's mother is a Succubus. Her proportions are devilish. ;)
I used Kat Dennings, Christina Hendricks and Rita Hayworth as inspiration for Rose's appearance and personality. (Rose is shorter though).
Mysty |
Excellent. Slowly but surely, piece by piece, my plans come together.
Sorry, channeling mr burns there for a moment.
:)
Seren Little |
sorry about today. Fiancee came home wicked sick so was taking care of her today. Will post like regular tomorrow.
Nahia |
@Rose
So I looked up your reference figures, and while it seems that Rita Hayworth was more of Nahia's figure (though she was a couple of inches taller), the other two are definitely far bustier.
Though, to be fair, I always considered Nahia to be more blessed in the hips and rear department anyway. : P
@Hound
At 6'8", using a young Arnold Schwarzenegger as a model, you would probably be somewhere around a 40 B. : )
DM Aku |
@Seren Wishing that she gets better soon!
@All
I want to introduce Hound into the history, tomorrow (game time).
He and Rose know each other already, but I don’t want him serving under the Cardinal.
For some other reasons, the knot of thorns is already quite big.
That being said, I’ll assume you guys (Hound and Rose) had already worked together during the past, but that he is not aware of your ‘family’ plans.
Also, I’ll use the gameplay thread to do this, to make it easier to follow, it’ll be all done under spoilers, but you all are free to read them.
Lady Rose |
She's maybe a 16b?
She might be tiny, but I'm pretty sure she's fully mature. She just has a trait that indicates that the obvious signs of that maturity aren't actually very obvious. :)
Lady Rose |
Rita Hayworth was mostly included because she was a redhead with the right combination of class and sass.
