One little request...could we get a map maybe? Terrain doesn't matter so much but I'm having a really hard time imagining with the info we have available where we are in relation to the enemy, whether in one move I can reach one to attack, if all allies are in range of channel energy, etc. Would be a real big help even in little battles.

Yes the battle map is coming up figure to get it done before the first attack was landed after the 2 npc die but show started sooner than I had a chance to finish map ^^.

My action is assuming that the kobolds don't all swarm outside the area or something. Since they act before me I'd normally wait to see what they do, but I've noticed you like to do the enemy actions as part of your end-of-round wrap up.

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

well I can start doing them, before someones Initiative so you can react properly from next round forward.

(HP 23/23, AC 12, CMD 13, Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +4, Init +3, Per -1)

I'd appreciate that. When dealing with things like AoE spells it's important to know where your targets (and allies) are before you cast the spell.

(M Romandan Human Templar 3)

My dice are cursed. >.>

A +1 might be a little helpful... At least it mods your touch attack this round.

(M Romandan Human Templar 3)

Thanks! I'll post an update quick so hopefully Deiros sees that. Could make all the difference.

I just saw a special on TV about brainwaves influencing random number generators. Think Hard Alaire!

Lindynt Auroral wrote:

Did either of my attacks hit last turn? I wasn't accounted for in the update and the kobold that was in J13 is still alive.

My mistake. I just reread your post, Deiros. I was thinking that the Kobold leader was the bigger icon above the rest of us in spaces (I,J&K, 2,3&4). I've moved Lindynt to G15. It's the only part of my action I'd like to correct. I'm guessing J13 is down and serving as a carpet for Reinholdt.

Alaire wrote:

Yes it might work...

No problem Lindynt.

(M Romandan Human Templar 3)

I'll have to be more clear where Alaire moves next time. I should have been able to get to there without provoking if I'm not mistaken...

(Male Meat Popsicle Fighter 1, Monk 1, Rogue 1, Ranger 1, Actor 5)

I'll stop doing this whenever you want me to. Just tell me to knock it off.

Alaire wrote:

"If thy save this monster and it takes more innocent lives, its blood is on thy hands".

translates to "If your save this monster..."

What you're looking for is

Alaire wrote:

"If thou savest this monster...".

Unless you're being polite, in which case you'd actually still say "you".

Lantern Lodge (Half-Elf Inquisitive 2/ Seeker 3)

You can skip Nichelle for the next go-round. My roll was not enough to notice the archer.

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

So were are is the next destination, a fight in the keep or the front courtyard.

(Male Meat Popsicle Fighter 1, Monk 1, Rogue 1, Ranger 1, Actor 5)

reasserting my vote for the back door

(M Romandan Human Templar 3)

Alaire would prefer the front, so that the battle could be ended faster but he recognizes the tactical sense in entering from the back.

(Male Meat Popsicle Fighter 1, Monk 1, Rogue 1, Ranger 1, Actor 5)

Starting up a combat-heavy gladiator game Here

Come take a look if you're interested.

Personally I'd like to avoid getting ourselves bottlenecked at the back door but s'all good if thats where the majority of the votes go. (With that forth wall neatly re-stuccoed) I'll see if we can't get a little more info on what to expect the old fashioned way. Asking the NPC...

(M Romandan Human Templar 3)

Uh you missed the DC Akela, it was DC 25 for you.

Whoops, Flubed my Lingustics check. And too late to edit too.

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

No problems ^^, will put battlemap soon for this encounter, you can still do diplomacy attempts xD

(HP 23/23, AC 12, CMD 13, Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +4, Init +3, Per -1)

Are you going to put the portraits up like the last map? I put my initial in for now.

Lantern Lodge (Half-Elf Inquisitive 2/ Seeker 3)

I... still have to figure out how to even be able to alter the map. ^^;

double clicked and typed my name into a square. I'll wait for Reinholdt to start the conversation since he and the crimson blade hold all the meaty info.

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

sorry lads I forgot to make it so everyone can use it, yes I will put up the portraits as usual and such things, just don't have access right now to my computer (out of town) until tomorrow so I can't really get to them.

Conversation will have to wait until you actually go into the keep ^^

(Male Meat Popsicle Fighter 1, Monk 1, Rogue 1, Ranger 1, Actor 5)

Damn dude, that's rough. Real life takes precedence. Take as much time as you need. Good luck.

^ Seriously. Take care of your family, Deiros. You've got a lot on your plate so don't worry about us. Good luck brother.

^ What they said!

Also it has been more than a little hectic here as well. Long story short, preparing for a move and new job at the end of February so my own time is a bit more pressed than I would like it. Will still be popping on when I can but likely it will not be every day like I used to be able to.

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

Im still here but will try to get something the first chance I get so don't go away, this is a very fun group :)

Glad you think so.

I'm not going anywhere. I've certainly had a good time up till now and you've obviously got important goings on in your life so take your time.

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

You all have 1 more action prior combat (cannot be combat oriented unless it's a buff).

(Male Meat Popsicle Fighter 1, Monk 1, Rogue 1, Ranger 1, Actor 5)

I am seriously considering getting the party started a little sooner. I think we're all prepped and I'm tired of waiting for them to make the first move.

Anyone have any objections? I'll give it 12 hours for opinions or dissent.

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

Fair enough :)

Break the ice brother, I've got your back. Kinda hoping for something to quicken the process since I rolled that crit lol!

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

hahahahaha I can't blame you :) I would have said the same thing.

(M Romandan Human Templar 3)

That would be the highest I've ever rolled on an attack so if it gets wasted I'd be extremely sad.

I think Alaire and I are going to see how our readied actions play out so you'll be safe even if the beat you in init.

So I finally found my psp the other night and was reminded of how much I love the Dragoon class. I've decided without a doubt that I'll be branching into the PRC for this game when I meet the prereq's. ~lvl 6 probably.

Idk why I felt I needed to advertise that here...

(HP 23/23, AC 12, CMD 13, Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +4, Init +3, Per -1)

Because it's awesome?

I've been thinking of becoming a calculator myself, since I love the idea of weighing opponent's weaknesses for max results.

Also, I like the idea of a black-mage gunslinger who looks at battles in terms of geometry and physics, like he's playing a very violent game of billiards.

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

hahahahaha

Well if you can meet the prerequisites you are golden.

I knew I should have taken the Cleave feat. Lousy Ride by Attack, clouding my judgement...

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

ride-by attack will be useful as much as cleave trust me ^^ we ain't marching on the battle field of a skirmish and then full scale war.

Lantern Lodge (Half-Elf Inquisitive 2/ Seeker 3)

Sorry about that. Internet is down for about another week, so i'll check when i can, and i have fair access during the day. Shouldn't be a problem.

Cheliax (GM W.R. Monger)

No problems take your actions for round 2 ^^ while your still around.

(HP 23/23, AC 12, CMD 13, Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +4, Init +3, Per -1)

Map

I keep loosing it in the IC thread.

Deiros, when we get into combats can we get the current battle map linked in the Campaign Info tab? Might help keep it from getting lost so easily.

Lantern Lodge (Half-Elf Inquisitive 2/ Seeker 3)

Apologies, forgot to indicate just where Nichelle's movement would take her, and with Vance's indication, she'll move away, and even provoke an AoO if necessary.

(HP 23/23, AC 12, CMD 13, Fort +2, Ref +3, Will +4, Init +3, Per -1)

5' adjusts never provoke.

(M Romandan Human Templar 3)

Wanted to leave a note here that I'm in the process of packing and moving this weekend so I'll likely be out of touch till sometime next week. Not sure how things'll be when I get there either so could be longer.
