I have updated the name after some thinking on how I want the name to work....Ibinu***fury/furious / glass*** Gilas / Akoi***creator Thus Furious/Fury Creator is the name with gilas or glass defining and linking them together.

The wandering players/merchants traveled and traded in items and secrets/information. They were a mixed lot but the majority of them were Slyph. They all felt like they were black sheep so to speak to their families or racial groups for various reasons. His parents were alive for much of his life but about 20 years or so ago, the group was raided by an unknown group and his parents were killed. That left him with his grandpa as his only kin.

Secret he knows is that the city of Hearth's Captain of the Guard has an addiction to 2 rare and costly drugs. Ibinu also knows who sells these drugs in the city.

He came to Hearth because he was low on funds and figured that maybe he could find work with a glass maker or sell his secret/blackmail in order to refill his funds.

Death's apprentice and I also discussed that we easily could have traveled together after running into each other in the wilderness. He had a desire to go to Hearth and I as a traveler knew the way.

Has you character ever seen a darkspawn of any kind? They come in as many varieties as insects on Earth (and they can get much, much bigger), feel free to ue your imaginations.

For Kallik, it would be possible; spawn tend to last a little longer in Forest, shaded from Volcano's light.

Ibinu may have, being so well traveled.

I find it less likely that Brinn and Inam would have - darkspawn rarely make it past the Eastern and Western Fronts, and when they do, they almost always perish in Volcano's light before they would get as far in-land as the villages you come from (I'm not saying 100% "no" though, you could have it be an interesting little part of your background)

I would think Inam has probably heard rumors but nothing first hand. Certainly never encountered one in the world. Knowledge similar to her Knowledge of Oreads.

All Brinn might know on this he would have gathered from the accounts of the various travellers passing through his village.

Mostly in the shape of bugs, though the more dangerous ones (with supernatural abilities) are roughly elenoid in shape. Structure can range from amorphous to crystalline, depending on the bug it's emulating.

And yeah, tones of dark gray, charcoal, black, etc.

I am not just being stubborn to be stubborn or contentious for the same. From my background, I was "cursed" with my rages due to an irreverence for a religious issue. I refuse , so far, to admit I will need to acknowledge my offense before it can or will be removed.

I didnt think you did however this toon is so different in the way he interacts than most of the others I have played. He's kinda blunt and forceful while most of what i play is smooth and manipulative

i am not a greedy sob as it appears. I however did come to Hearth to refill my funds. And So did say he would pay us to accompany him, but nothing else and so far we haven't seen him keep his word much with money or with talking with the two carrying the box in our presence. Thus My suspicions are up about him doing anything he says or promises UNTIL / UNLESS I see some actual hard evidence/proof he can and will do what he has said.

Thus my reasoning behind how I am playing. Just figured I'd put it out there so its known I am not just about money but more about trust and follow through.

I for one completely understand. I think we are all playing to our characters personalities very well. I like having a diverse group with differnt points of view. Yin v yang if you will :) a diverse group is a strong group!

Almost thought about holding off the "What happened to Brinn" post until tomorrow, but this format is slow enough as it is :)

That is one of my favorite things about the PbP style of gaming. It is so much easier to split the party and not bog down the gameplay.

Will Brinn be coming back?

Not sure. Sent him a PM about a week ago, haven't heard back. I don't want to halt the game, and I don't want him to just arbitrarily disappear from the scene, so for now I'll be botting him.

The botting makes sense I was just curious if he was going to be coming back

Also, with the concluded darkspawn scene and the concluded "saving the little girl from being kidnapped by ifrits" scene, you are all now Level 2! Try to level up over the weekend if possible. Don't heal any pre-existing damage.

Woot! I saved the damsel and got levels :D I had no idea that it had been three months. Time flies. This game has thus far been a blast to play and I assume that will continue. Again thank you for the opportunity, I am having so much fun!

Inam I have not been reading your situation so that you can explain what happened and why you apparently got to deal with whatever a dark spawn is.

Craft, Intimidate, Arcana, Religion, and Perception. Will all be getting a skill rank. I am torn between putting the other 2 in either stealth or diplomacy since those one might become important. Any thoughts. I have not changed the skills over yet since I am not sure which one I want yet for those last two points.

If it helps your decision making, I'll likely never be stealthier than an aircraft carrier...but I will be putting another point in diplomacy. My chicken gets another rank in K (Religion) and only 3 levels away from me being able to understand him. :-P

My other point is undecided at the moment, but good chance it'll be in my craft skill....something...maybe handle animal...

hp: 1d12 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Skills: Every character gets one extra skill point per level in a Craft, Profession, or Perform skill of their choice. I want you to have some kind of flavorful/cool background skill, but I don't want it to come at the cost of a better skill.

HP: Max at 1st level, average (round up) after that

Looks like we didn't need to roll for HP either. Those of us with d10 would be 6+Con --> +favored class (unless you use favored class for something else)
